was wondering what people use to add an email option form on WordPress and what system do you use after is Aweber? or Sendinblue you name it

thanks

Matthew Hildr

AWeber. They've improved a lot over the years, but their campaign builder still has some glitches from time to time when adding new emails so I always recommend firing a copy of your emails to your own email as a test, just in case they happen to vanish (so you can copy them in again).

I'm with Dale on this.

Was even able to totally optimize the image used on my Aweber form, so now their form no longer compromises my loading time. LOVE Aweber for ease of using PLUS excellent support staff.

Yep, I've had good interaction with their staff too :)

thanks dale great info

thanks, Triblu great info from all of you guys thanks much appreciated
matt

I use the Forminator plugin, and then link it to Aweber via the API. Very easy to do, and extremely flexible and customisable.

cheers man will have a look at that cheers

how often do you ask for comments, reviews of your website?

Good Morning Matt,

I ask for comments when I have published my 2 new posts for my 2 websites, which is once a week.

I make a list with all the posts that have, let's say, 10 comments, I control if everything is ok, sometimes YouTube videos vanish, perhaps add new content and then put them up for comments again. Then the posts, if there have been changes to it get a new date. When that is done I make a list of the posts which have 12 comments, etc

Like that, I revisit old posts like once or twice or sometimes three times a year, the total rotating and getting more comments.

Greetings from the south of Spain,

Taetske

Hey Matthew,

Lately, I've been dealing with family issues. Before the issues, I was requesting comments on a regular basis, like every time I published a new article.

But it's time to get back to business. I'm going to be requesting at least 4 comments on each new article moving forward. I pay to get the comments here.

Thanks for asking a great question.
Monica

Hi Matt, after I've written a post I use credits to ask for comments and then ask Google to index it.

I would ask for a review on my website about once a month, just to check that it's heading the way I would like. They have been very positive, so I tend to not worry to much. Just getting comments on my posts for good SEO.

Seems to work for me.
Wishing you a wonderful year
Lily 😁🎵

There are 2 basic ways to request a comment: on this thread and by going to Site Comment. I use Site Comment to build up my credit there. I like to get feedback on my site, from time to time. To ensure a response for feedback, I will request it on Site Feedback. This requires 2 credits. Thus, I have to build up my credits. I build up credits by offering a comment on Site Comment or offering feedback on Site Feedback. This is a simple calculation.

I always ask for comments when the post is published but I think it's good to ask for some for older posts now and then so I do that also.
As to site review, I think it's enough to ask for it when you set your site up and then maybe in a while if you make big changes.

how do you earn with site comments? I've seen people earning with site comments I feel I've missed something.

You have to become a verified commenter.
So, Its 50 comments in a month and then you're verified as long as your skip rate and acceptance rate is high enough. If you keep this up you get 50c per comment but this is then used when you ask for comments (which you should do)

I have a further question on this one. I've earned quite a bit on site comments but I cannot see anywhere that they can be used or withdrawn. What do you do with the earnings?

Hi - they can be withdrawn as cash. If you go to your credit dashboard, underneath where it tells you your cash credit total, there is a slider which you drag across to claim as much as you want. Payments are made on the 1st of the month.

Thanks Diane - unfortunately, that only seems to work for trainings and domain registrations. As you can see, I have quite a lot saved up in site comments. However, when you look at the slider bar thingy, they are not included. I have always found this puzzling.

Hi - go to your credit dashboard, not Site Comments, by clicking on the W icon at the top of the screen. On the left of your dashboard, it shows how much you have available to cash out. Lower down it also shows if you have used up any of your earnings if you have been requesting comments on your own site.

Right! So I go there and all it will let me cash out are the credits I have saved for current comments - see the slider bar. Sorry but this has been puzzling me for a LONG time and has become a pet peeve - LOL

Hi - so in total you have earned $79, but you must have been using this amount to ask for comments on your own site. You now only have $6.50 left, which you can't cash out, as the minimum is $10.

Ahhhhhhh!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I didn't realize that the dollar amounts were spent when you request site comments - I thought it was strictly the 2 to 1 thingy. You have just alleviated MONTHS of angst. Thank you SO MUCH for your patience and hanging in here with me as I pelted you with questions!

Glad to be of help!

You learn something new every day in this business!
Thanks for asking and thanks for the answers.
Have a great day!
Tom

Hi - first of all, you need to become a certified commenter. You have to give 50 comments in 30 days, with an 80% approval rate. From then, for every other comment you give, you get $0.50. You have to keep up the number of comments to 50, as it's a rolling program of 30 days.

You start earning from site comments after you have given 50 comments; and over 80% of your comments have been approved.

There after you earn $0.5 per comment.

what would you suggest and is there anything that makes you stand out ?
thanks
matt

You have great suggestions! Follow the lead that Keisha and others have given. I have had similar question and I am folllowing the info too!

Matt--good advice for you below, my friend!

Jeff

Keisha gives you a great article to review and within that review Kyle has link to an hour training webinar by Jay that I just finished that is really informative
Tim

In addition to the thoughts Keisha shared, read. The saying goes that reading 7 books on a particular subject makes you an expert in that area. If you're working with something you're passionate about, that's not a tough thing to do, over time. Hope this helps!
Christine

.... hi Matt -- good question and all questions are good ones here! ...

.... Kyle discusses about becoming an 'authority' in your selected niche to scale your on-line biz to success ... if that's what you mean ... and of course, building quality content in helping to promote your 'brand' is what would make you stand out in engaging with your intended audience ...

... and here's his post on it . . . ... hope this helps you a wee bit ... all the best, cheerio ... :)

thanks just what I needed
Matt

in terms of adding to your website which do you prefer to use and why?

thanks, guys great helpfull advice

Amazon, and I will give you the reasons why:

1. Amazon is the largest retailer online and has millions of products to choose from.

2. Since it has so many products to choose from there is a high chance that your visitor might purchase something from Amazon, even if it is not the product that you recommended.

3. Amazon makes it possible for the affiliate to receive commissions for ANY product that the customer directed from your website might buy in the next 24 hours after clicking through to Amazon. Not only that, it will credit you the commission for all purchased products for the next 90 days, if the customer has put it into his/her cart.

4. Once the customer lands on Amazon, the website does all the selling for you, whether it is for the product that you recommended through a display of customer reviews, description, comparisons etc. It will also show things like other products that similar customers bought, similar sponsored products, and so many things that it will make the customer stay on their site and tempt them to buy something(how often has it happened to you!). While Amazon does its selling for various products, you are the affiliate that it will reward for the next 24 hours that the customer buys on Amazon.

5. Amazon has more discounts, deals and offers running at any given time than any other place on the internet. Again, this increases the chances of a conversion(read point no. 3 above).

6. Amazon has much more credibility online than Clickbank because of so many real customer reviews on their site. Some Clickbank products seem like scams to say the least, and quite a few testimonials look like they have been purchased through testimonial sellers online.

7. Clickbank has a horrendous refund rate and once you make sales of CB products, you will find that your commissions are always short because of the high refunds. Not so with Amazon.

8. As mentioned above there is another benefit of the 24-hour cookie of Amazon. During the festive season, customers may decide to do all of their online shopping once they land on the Amazon page of the product that you may have recommended. Say someone has a list of items to be purchased for Christmas gifts but you're the one who recommended a smartphone case on your website. This person might decide to buy a dozen items once they land on Amazon, and you benefit with all the commissions. How cool is that!

Hope this helps you choose between the two. :-)

If you have any doubts please feel free to ask.

If you select the right product in ClickBank which does take longer than Amazon then you do not have the refund problems. Most of the products that I promote have a very small refund rate

Thanks Mano. I haven't gotten to a point of choosing an affiliate network. Now I know what to choose once I get there. Thanks once again.

If not impossible, I suggest to apply for both. You start first with one and a couple of weeks later with the second. It will help to have a wide opinion of one another.

Clickbank I never promote Amazon products. The support from owners of the product is much better. However, the downside to be a successful Clickbank affiliate you need to build a list

Amazon pays less commission but has a better product range.

Amazon - it's much easier for me to find lots of products with solid value for my visitors there.

While i earn a commission I'd also love to give value to my customers. I'll not be able to sleep at night knowing that I've earned the commission while my customer is not happy with the product or service and when they try to get a refund or replacement of the product they are taken from pillar to post. Some of these companies have a poor customer service, I've seen the reviews about one of the products offered through clickbank.I was not impressed.
