Hi Everyone,
Quick question for the WA community. I currently have 31 posts on one of my main websites so far. The website in question has become my primary focus, and I
Thanks Kyle, this is a big help once again. I'll take your word for it and make a more diverse approach moving forward.
Hey Martin,
It's great to hear about your progress with your website. Publishing 31 posts is a nice milestone, and your strategy of focusing on content creation first has set a solid foundation for your site is the approach we recommend here, as it allows your brand to mature, and your rankings to start to grow (which you are seeing) before you divert your attention to much to promotion.
Before you can make money, you first need an "audience" (traffic) so it is good that you made that your first step.
In response to your questions here:
1. Balancing Content Creation with Website Optimization: While your goal of reaching 50 posts is awesome, it might be beneficial to start integrating some optimization now. This doesn’t mean you have to halt content creation, but perhaps allocate some time to enhance existing posts, and you can move some of your attention to affiliate marketing and integration monetization strategies.
2. Adding Affiliate Links: Since your content is gaining traction, it’s a good time to start "making money" from your traffic. You don’t have to overhaul all your posts at once. Begin by adding affiliate links to your most popular or most relevant posts. This way, you can start leveraging your existing traffic while continuing to build your content base.
3. Content Updating Strategy: Updating old posts is important, especially for SEO and providing fresh, relevant content to your audience. You might want to start this process gradually, and I wouldn't be too keen on ocerinvesting your time with a new site like yours, but you may look back at a few old posts that are already getting some traffic and update them. This can include adding new information, optimizing for keywords, or improving readability and user experience.
4. Setting Yourself a Schedule: With your busy schedule it might be helpful to set specific daily goals for different tasks – research, content creation, site optimization, affiliate link insertion, and social media marketing. This way, you can ensure a balanced approach without feeling overwhelmed. With the SiteContent Article Designer you are now going to be able to speed up the content outline process drastically.
Remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, and it's about finding a balance that works for you, and your business. Overall though, you are moving in the right direction here, nice work!

Hi Everyone,
There seems to be an issue with the WordPress editor at the moment, or at least mine has some sort of issue. Is anyone having a problem with theirs when goi
Login issues can happen, and sometimes they are triggered by a wordpress update, a plugin, or a theme.
I suggest creating a hosting support ticket here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
You can also find this within the Websites menu under the "SiteSupport"(to the left). This is where you should go if you ever have loading issues with your website, email issues, plugin/theme issues, or if you accidentally do something that adversely impacts your website.
This support is 24/7 and upon submitting your ticket we will look into it right away Martin!
All sorted now guys, turns out it was just a WordPress update, my website was on the old WP version which I thought had already been updated to the new 6.4.1 version. Apologies, I should have checked this first thing.
You may just need to clear your cache as well for your browser. Best of luck with a fix to this issue.
Stacie
I don't have an issue here; I have just tried.
You may have a conflict on your site, like themes or plugins.
You may want to call upon the site support

Hi Everyone,

Up to a year, you should be fine. But no post is set in stone. You can update whenever you like.

Thanks for the replies guys,
I think I will put together a plan to move forward taking into consideration all of your opinions, thanks again.
In my opinion, you should implement new things on every blog post everytime you learn it
Once you have started writing a fair amount of content, it’s always a good idea to go back through previous posts to see what can be improved as we learn new skills each time we write an article.
In my opinion it's worth improving them if even just a little bit. Since your earlier posts are already indexed and getting visits it makes sense to me to improve their quality if you can until your newer posts overtake those in rankings and views. I'm constantly improving on my older posts. Primarily I link from those to newer posts, and improve the writing content if I see the opportunity. I think it's important that first impressions on any post are good, and if you leave older less quality posts untouched then you could lose potential readers.

Hi Guys,
Would anyone happen to know if you are breaking any copyright laws by using snippets from someones website and using them on your pages.

Hey Martin,
Funnily enough, I wrote about something fairly similar earlier in the week.
Here's my blog post about using OTHER PEOPLE'S CONTENT to produce your own original and unique content.
Enjoy! (Something Completely NEW) Allow Me to Blow Your “Original & Unique” Mind Partha
I have just read through your post "What time of day do you workout" great informative post by the way.
In the post you have images from other websites and below the images you have the URL in small print, I assume this is the meaning of crediting the original source so you are able to use it within your own website posts?
Correct. You also have the opportunity to "add a link to an image".
So essentially, if I wanted to, as well as "quoting the source" I could actually link the image to the original content too.
In a way, this is better, as it more-or-less states, "Here's the website that I gleaned this information from and here's a link if you want to visit the original article too".
Just being upfront, honest, and completely transparent typically puts you in the "good books" of both your readers and GOOGLE.
Thanks again Partha, this cleary answers my question, and I have made the amendments needed.
You can review other people's research; however, write your take original in your own words.
Thanks for the reply guy's.
Basically, I have used snippets of a comments section on a website I have been reviewing, it has no logo or branding within the snippet, would the idea of "making this snippet unique" still apply if it only shows comments from a different website or would I still need to do something with it.
Also, when you say credit your source, could you please explain what you mean by this exactly, thanks.
Hi - its not just copyright you need to be concerned about.
Google is not interested in any posts that include copied content.
They will not be ranked highly.
yes, like Mel said be sure to credit your source, also be sure to re-name the item and make this unique in some way. I would also keep searching for copy right snippet laws just to be safe. but I do believe if you make this unique in some way, it's fine
