Hey Lorieann,
Once you state what sort of help you are looking for, one of more of us may have some very helpful suggestions for you.
I want to make a directory site for a certain niche of business contacts. I want my visitors to be able to search via company name, rep name, State, city, etc.
Plug-in suggestions hopefully one that has great tutorials on YouTube.
Hey Lorieann,
In Google searching "directory themes wordpress" (without the quotation marks, of course), I was offered several different choices of themes to choose from. So, it sounds though you may not have to use a plugin. If that proves to be true than one of those themes may offer you the options you seek.
Hope this helps you.

I work full time, I'm a student, I have a family of 7, I make all our meals. The list goes on. My heart and soul wants a successful online presence. How do you stay focused wit
So true, for most of us... many hats and just one head.
I tried to make priorities and consistency, and skip the rubbish.
Online business is not overnight... it is hard labour and takes time and effort.
Concentrate on one point...
Reading this by Kyle will point you in the right direction.
I know it can be difficult, but most of us have families, jobs and commitments.
Kyle highlights some important points here. hope it helps
Thanks

I purchased a domain by accident between myself and my teenager who thought she was doing me a favor.
It is through Google Domains.
I want it here.
I was merel
Ok. After talking to Google support. I do have to wait 60 days.
:(
I can do the DNS and point it to WA. Till the domain is ready to expire
But how do I transfer over once DNS is in place.
I am honestly being schooled today. I LOVE IT...!!!
After 60 days have passed you would just go to SiteDomains and start the transfer process. This would involve getting an EPP code from Google, unlocking the domain for transfer and canceling any sort of whois privacy protection.
Hi Lorie Ann.
You usually get the transfer code from your current registrar when you request to unlock your domain. The codes are normally only good for about 24 hours at a time as for security reasons you or your registrar don't want the domain to be stolen either so the transfer codes normally change regularly.
But I see you've only just purchased the domain so as mentioned there may be a wait period of about 60 days before you will be able to transfer the domain here to Wealthy Affiliate. Then the transfer itself takes a few days sometimes, as it did in my case.
I transferred 3 domains here when I joined. One from Weebly, and the other 2 from another registrar.
Hope this helps and best of luck to you,
Sue.
You can't transfer the domain name to WA for at least 60 days from the date of purchase. And when you do transfer it you'll need to pay for another year so hold off until it's closer to the expiry time.
You can point the domain name servers (DNS) to WA so the site can be hosted here. You'll have to do that wherever you purchased the domain name. They should have easy to find instructions for that or support.
You'll probably have to wait 60 days to transfer it. You can still use it at WA by changing the nameservers to WA's nameservers.
Lol... Lost me...
I am obviously beyond my knowledge.
(Oh the moments you wish those who new what they were doing were sitting right aside of you.)
:) Thank you...
Ok so if it is at Google right now and I want it to be WA. I would have to get it from Google. I wonder how. I haven't found it yet.
