Unfortunately, Meta/FaceBook doesn't seem to have a good way to contact them to ask for their permission.
They want you to receive written permission from them, but then give you no way to request that written permission. That sounds par for the course when it comes to these big social media companies.

I figured it went to my website and was c
Yeah, I've been reading up on it. It seems like misappropriation of personal likeness and rights to publicity along with copyright is what they're infringing on.
I'll probably see if I can get a consult with a lawyer on it.

Like Frank (aka FrankB-1) has already mentioned, all you can do is request the image of you be removed.
A few years ago, I had a vendor insist that I remove a screen print of his member's area removed from my review.
I took different steps, being sure to cover my legal butt, but in the end, I created a framed image and placed text across the image "image removed at vendor's request" and used that instead.
That step was taken when the vendor threatened to report me to the DMCA.
Can you get money from that merchant you say is using your image? Well, maybe if you hire a lawyer... but that's a big maybe. Plus, it would cost you more for representation than you MIGHT get from any case you take to court.

I play by the rules, so it really irks me when someone steals my stuff to profit off of it. I think it's even worse that it's a merchant.

Since you applied to their affiliate program, perhaps you can have them give you a do-follow backlink.
However, if you would like the photo removed, let them know.

I thought about that, but it's so flagrant I feel like they owe me monetary compensation as well.
Not yet, the training isn't really applicable since they took a screenshot of a video.
Thinking about consulting with a lawyer. Might go through their website and see if they're using any more screenshots of me.
And that’s quite reasonable. If they have a high domain rating in your niche I would focus on the do-follow backlink. 😎
