Thank you Scott. I can't put a ticket in to site support, they only take it for a website. There is nowhere else to put a ticket into as far as I know.
Thank you for responding Abie.
Rarely get an answer that way though and site support won't do anything unless it's directly to do with a website.
I was hoping someone who uses it regularly knows something about it.
That's true regarding site support however based on you saying you have not used, it would be an error and Kyle can check and fix it for you in no time.

Thank you Diane. It wouldn't let me do anything. The green button said upgrade.
Though it's no loss I suppose as I rarely use it anyway, just the other bit for titles sometimes.
This is how it should look if it was working properly. Seems odd that it also says December 2020. It might be that Site Support could look at it, as it would appear to be a technical problem.
It used to say something like that. Thank you, I will give it a try.
I will take a screenshot, so they see the whole thing.
Hi - somebody else has just reported the same problem, so it looks as though there's a glitch. Site rank ? can not access my site rank
Thank goodness, it's not just mine. Thank you for letting me know Diane, greatly appreciated.

Just saw a site with a training video straight off this site and wondered if this is allowed as it hadn't occurred to me that I could use them. Would be very handy in vblog pos
Hey Linda,
Yes you can link video training that is published here on WA. What I do is take a screen print of just the video and then use the screen print on my website, and my affiliate link (when it is not my own training) to link to the training video.
Here's a tutorial to help you with using your WA affiliate links: How to Use Your WA Affiliate Links Hope you find this helpful.
Fortunately I checked answers in order not to be superfluous. This answer is really accurate.
Thank you it is Trish. I was just curious whether we were permitted to put an actual WA training video on our site, not just the link.
Just as Trishsaid, I take a screenshot of the video image, load it into my post and add the link with my affiliate link attached to it.
The answer is NO for obvious reasons. WA pays members for the training so it would not be ethical to use it elsewhere.
If a resource is labelled as "premium", then only premium members can view it. But we are allowed to share resources from here becuse it may lead to conversions.
I think you are allowed to embed it from YouTube like any other video. I normally just click on the affiliate button and share the link on my website to the relevant video.
I do not think you can upload video to the WA Blog ... it can be used in Video Training but not for blogging ... uploading to Youtube or Vimeo is the best way ... just include the link in the post or page and the video can appear seamlessly. The Maximum upload file size: 32 MB on our websites. So uploading is not practical.
This was a WA training video used as part of a blog post on a website. Thought I would see if it was allowed as it seemed like a good idea to use them if it is.
In the training tab Video Tutorial there is a button that allows an upload of video to WA that is not restricted. As far as I know that is the only place this is allowed.
Not sure if it was an embedded video on the blog but that might be how they were able to include it ...
Following .. if anyone can add to this ...
Allan
Hi Linda, Was it embedded, or was it a picture of a video here with a link through? You can do the latter, not sure about the former.
Dave
Embedded video plays directly from the blog post it is featured on, usually by having a video plugin installed on the blog. Can you show us the page?
It was in site comments that I saw it. Thought it was a great idea but didn't want repercussions if its not allowed. Asked the question here but didn't go back to see the site.

How hard would it be if it is poss
Hey Linda,
Some platforms that are NOT WordPress will now allow you to export your content for use in importing to a WordPress website.
Example: Let's say your website is hosted on Wix, then you would search Google for something like "move content from Wix to WordPress" (without the quotation marks, of course) and read through several posts.
Once you are comfortable with the option you have chosen to export FROM your present site that you say is NOT a WordPress website, then simply setup a FREE website here on WA's servers and import your content to the new free site.
After you are certain that all of your content has been transferred as it should have... and that you have imported all to your new FREE site, only then would you delete your Wix website.
Hope you find this helpful.
If it is WordPress, yes you can. I would not move the domain, but change the nameserver to point to WA. Be careful, doing this will erase your website. Make a backup (i use All In One Migration) before you do anything. My next step would be to restore the site on a siterubix domain. This way I make sure I have a good backup and another copy of the site. Next, I would point the nameservers to WA. Once the domain appers in WA, I would restore the site on the domain.
All In One Migration has a size limit to the free version so you may have to purchase the Pro version to get it to work. I have tried other migration plugins with little sucess, but other have.
If you need any help, please let me know.
Dave

I have a domain name that I had bought before I joined. How do I move it to a website I am setting up here? Or do I need to make the website as a site rubix one and then change
I have a .co.uk domain on here Linda, it doesn't make any difference with regards WA hosting.
Are you looking to transfer the domain to hosting here ? Transfer a Domain Name, Move a Website This covers most of it I think.

It was about "Piece of heart or piece of mind", if you look for her blog.

are you publishing in the block editor- if so then i have done training on this Adding Images To The Gutenberg (Block) Editor if not check that the classiceditor is installed and activated.
it will be something simple, try looking in the text tab to see if there is any weird formatting next to the image tag.
good luck
phil
I have no idea what a block or Gutenberg editor is as yet but thank you.
I have managed it now and am thrilled.

Hi Linda, I think I understand what you are asking. After you finish writing out your complete content and then go back to add relevant pictures you are wanting the picture to either be on the LEFT or right of your content. If you take your cursor and click it for example beside the word I typed in capital letters above and then click on add media and insert and choose either alignment left or right the picture should go where ever your cursor is located and it should split the content up and end up being beside the content
I hope this makes since..
When you are in the media library there are options for alignment before you post the image
Steps
click on add media
Look to the right and look below the image you will see an alignment tab
Click here and select the one you want, centre - right - left
Hope this helps
Barry
Thank you, that is what I have been doing but I cannot seem to put text beside the picture. I can do it in edit but the picture goes back to centre once its published.
Hey Linda,
Providing you are using the Classic Editor in WordPress and NOT talking about SiteContent... then following the screen print below...
1.) click on image you want to add to your post or page
2.) scroll down
3.) click on tiny down arrow and select right (or left) alignment
4.) click on Insert into post.
Preview your post or page... and be sure to Update your post or page to retain your image and alignment.
Hope you find this helpful.
I have been writing it direct onto the website. Will check the editir, thank you.
Will follow the instructions, much appreciated.
Thank you, that is what I have been doing but I still cant get words to sit beside the picture once its been edited.
