' >
adding Amazon ad i get ' > what is wrong?

Shea has your answer.

Hi Ken,

Shea (below) gave you the answer. I hope it solves your problem.

Cheers,

John

Hi, target="_blank" is the html code that tells a link to open in a new window. There should be a = sign after the word target (as I typed it). A link using the target="_blank" command would look something like this: a href="https:/eaxample.com" target="_blank" The code would need to have a < at the beginning and a > at the end. (I couldn't type it that way because it turned it into a clckiable link instead of showing the code I typed.)

Here it is in screenshot so I could type it correctly for the example

Ken, I am an Amazon affiliate and I don't have any issues with it. What exactly is the problem? Have you been able to over their html codes without a problem?

the amazon ad I added shows in the post, and when I click on it it goes to the page. that all good. but when I leave the page and then go back in that when I see the error.
Thanks I hope you can help.

can you add ADS to all post without affecting google indexing?

Hi Ken,

What I have learned from some experienced members is that it is best not to post ads to soon. It is better to wait that your website gains trust from the search engines by writing quality contents and getting traffic. You can check your Site Health in your Site Manager. If it is good, then you might start posting ads.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,

John

Yes. Indexing is just so you show up in Google's search results. Now ads may play a part in your ranking depending on how many you have, etc.

Ken, adding anything wont affect indexing one bit.

When your site has been indexed it just means that the search engines have found your site and its now live in the internet.

Its the ranking possibilities you want to concentrate on.

Your content is all-important for that and the better the content, the better your ranking.

HTTP 500 error

That's a server error code. I'd open a ticket with Site Support. As a Starter member you might need to use the contact form here:

https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/contact

Hi Ken, the "HTTP 500 error" is a non-specific server error. Try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps.

If it persists I would send SiteSupport a message and see if they can help.

thank you

You're welcome

HTTP 500 error

Looks like it's an issue that Support will be resolving soon Ken. Keep trying to log in from time to time, Support is normally very quick on fixing things (even on Sundays). If in a few hours time you are still having this issue, then contact Support.

Cheers,

John

Hi - this has been mentioned in Live Chat, a few people have said they can't access their new sites. Hopefully, Site Support is looking into the problem.
