Sorry had to do errands, already contacted site support a couple times they tell me its fixed to tell viewers to clear cache. Here is the one blog post that I have to login every morning to update as will not show.

When I request feedback or site comments, the other WA members telling me of the same issue.

Like right now this one article shows, however in morning the next day will show 404 error.

What's the URL? I'll see if it loads ok for me.

I'd try site support or clear cache like other did say.

If this issue persists even after clearing the cache, you may want to run it quickly by site support.

Hi, I had that problem in the past and it worked for me after I cleared the cache...

I taught the same thing, but still doesn't work for the one article. Other WA members say doesn't load for them either and I request feedback or comments. This is first time I had an error like this, and site support says it loads and just tell the readers to clear their cache.

I'm very sorry for you and I really hope that a good solution will be found very soon.

I have had a little trouble at were trying to go from the first page to view my site but has been corrected by WA. I was you I'd contact customer support and tell them your situation.

Mine is doing just fine 🤔

Abie has you covered, Janette. Sorry, you were having problems.

JD

PS: You might try writing your post offline then copy and paste it when ready to publish. That way you don't have to re-write it.

I’ve had this issue several times before. 😑 definitely irritating. I contacted site support for help. Because I was forced logged out and couldn’t log back in either.

It is letting me stay logged in as long as I stay on Wealthy Affiliate platform, but when I go to Grammarly to edit my post and come back to Wealthy Affiliate have to sign back in each time. Was wondering if I should change my password.

When clearing the cache, do you have cookies and passwords ticked in your browser settings?

Yes, but only wealthy affiliate and Grammarly passwords saved in Explorer and Chrome.

Even if you choose not to untick those two options, you will still be logged out of all apps. Therefore, it is important to deselect those options.

Thank you, I will try that and let you know if works.

Thank you, it worked, and my article now published.

That's awesome and you're welcome :)

I suggest creating a hosting support ticket here, they can help you recover your websites most likely from back-ups.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

You can also find this within the Websites menu under the "SiteSupport"(to the left). This is where you should go if you ever have loading issues with your website, email issues, plugin/theme issues, or if you accidentally do something that adversely impacts your website.

This support is 24/7 and upon submitting your ticket we will look into it right away Jannette!

Thank you, I submitted a support ticket.

It's possible (but not guaranteed) that WA will still have backup copies of your sites. Contact Site Support with the URLs.

It's a good idea to do your own backups independently for exactly this sort of circumstance. WA has made this more difficult recently by blacklisting the independent backup plugins. They have their reasons, which I empathize with.

PM me if you want to discuss this further.

You are very well covered here (please do open a ticket with Site Support), with some excellent advice and guidance. If you have any further questions, please let the community know!

-Mike

I have been wondering where you were. I am sure Site Support will recover your sites.

Hey Jannette,

As long as the domain names haven't expired (which means they go on the open market immediately and can be snapped up by others), you can contact SiteSupport.

I'm not 100% sure of the "official" time, we're often told 60 days, but I've also heard that SiteSupport will keep backups for up to 6 months.

So, as I say, as long as your domain names haven't expired, send a message to SiteSupport, list the domain names, and ask whether they still have a backup copy that can be reinstalled for you.

You may also want to speak to Kyle (he's in Live Chat NOW).

With this new membership you obviously only have the ability to host 3 websites, whereas I'm guessing with your previous membership you could hosted 50 websites.

Partha

Thank you, I submitted a site support ticket.

Regarding domains going on the open market, do you know the site WA uses to sell the domains?
Thank you

Hey Dan,

I probably could have worded that better, LOL.

Domain names in general are "created" by the Domain Name System (DNS) and then overseen by the International Coroporation For Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

You can then create ANY domain name via a domain registrar, e.g. GoDaddy, NameCheap, Wealthy Affiliate, etc.

All domain names are made available to the registrars by the domain servers of the WHOIS system.

(if you go to https://www.whois.com/whois/ and input an already registered domain name, and the person who purchased that domain name hasn't specifically asked to keep their details private, you can actually see the name and the country of the person who owns that domain name, as well as where their nameservers are - try it with one of your own domain names).

We are basically "renting" domain names (as well as hosting), as they need to be renewed every year (or renewed when they expire, i.e. you can register a domain name for 1,2,3, 5 or 10 years via most registrars).

You could say that once a domain name expires it disappears from the registrar system completely, i.e. it's no longer a valid domain name that is owned by anyone.

However, if it's a fairly common theme for a domain name, say something like, affiliatemarketing .com, then someone else may try to purchase it.

If the domain name that you owned (and then it expired) is something very obscure, and special to YOU, then it may remain "available" forever because no-one else in the world has thought of naming a website with that name.

For selling domain names that you aleady own the best places are probably

GoDaddy
Sedo
Flippa
Namecheap
eBay Marketplace

If you think about it, a domain name could be anything, you create the domain name from scratch, so something like:

xxxccccuppppuyyyys .com

But, once the above domain name expires it's highly unlikely someone would have the same thought process as you and purchase this domain name.

This is also why when you look for "generic" or "popular" domain name ideas they're not available, this simply means that this person had the same idea BEFORE you.

However, if they allow a "generic" or "popular" named domain to expire, you will be able to puchase it.

Partha

Thank you for the thorough and very helpful reply....

Hi - websites are automatically deleted 60 days after your membership ends.

However, you can ask Site Support if they still have a backup they can re-install for you.

great question Jannette, looks like you have some great support below, I've learnt something too!

Provided that you are linking to relevant topics that add further useful information for readers of your article, yes.

We view the words that we've written on the page as the "article" or the "content".

Google, and the other search engines, view EVERYTHING on the page as part of the content.

Therefore, the word count, the use of keywords and related phrases in the COMMENTS, images, videos (and the alt text and descriptions we provide for media) will ALL "count" towards Google's reading of your article.

As with EVERYTHING in SEO in recent years things should NEVER be added because it's considered correct.

In fact, if anyone uses an exact number of internal links or an exact number of external links, or uses their keyword an exact amount of times in EVERY article, it's only a matter of time before they get found out, and potentially lose rankings and traffic for trying to "game the Google system".

So firstly, ALL links added to content, irrespective of where it is added, should ALWAYS be t0 provide more help and guidance for the reader.

Is your link helping the reader in some way?

Therefore, adding X amount of links to an article is NOT being done to help the reader, but merely to satisfy some incorrect misconception about SEO.

As for your comments, so YES, these form part of your content.

Plus, it's your website, so you use it how you wish.

You can add links to your comments and even to the comments that OTHERS are leaving on your posts (remember it's YOUR website, so you have FULL CONTROL over where you can add links).

However, I'll repeat, only add links to HELP YOUR READERS, a link should never be added for any other reason than this.

Partha

Thank you, GOATfully.

Yes, the links are relevant to the content and to help the commenter. Thanks, Partha, pretty sure this question will help others as well along with your detailed response.

Jannette

Yep, absolutely fine then.

As I say, it's YOUR content so you can add the links anywhere you want.

As an example, if someone who has left a comment on a product review, I have often hyperlinked the product name in the comment to link to the actual product.

So, anyone else reading the comments can go directly to the product page.

Generally, people are always after more information (and a little bit nosey, LOL), so they will often scroll through your comments to read what others (and you) are saying.

So, if you need to link to something to get your point across, go for it. Perfect.

If relevant, yes; otherwise, no.

Try contacting Lenovo’s support. I’ve used Lenovo’s products in the past and have found them to be a solid product. It’s hard to guide you through the various things without having the unit in front of me, but their support department should be able to get the PC up and running in no time.

The model has nothing to do with the issue.

Ensure your Wi-Fi is turned on; sometimes, rebooting your router does the job.

If all else fails you could try contacting Lenovo for support.

Hi, Jannette

I don’t have a Lenovo computer, but if it has an Ethernet port you can connect it to your router with an RJ45 cable.

This should allow you to configure it for wireless after the computer finds your internet.

The other thing you can try is to update your wireless internet drivers.

First try the Laptop Yoga app listed below.
