Hoping to get some help with elementor templates.
I have a demo page that I loaded a template on to, just for practice;
didn’t want to mess up the real page.
Template is the cover of a website, they're there as long as in use. I would not go with a demo, as we tend to add our content.
I had this happen to me before, please reach out to site support

Thank for your input Abie, I will contact support.
Sounds as though I totally removed the template.

Is there an Autoresponder that one can use on this platform that responds to new people signing up?
When I introduce someone to WA, I would like to send an auto message.
Hey Melanie,
The following tutorial may offer you the help you seek: How to Set Up Customized Messages for WA Referrals Hope this helps you.
Hi, Melanie,
Yes, there are. If you look in the header menu in your WA dashboard, you will find a dollar icon. It is just beside the notification icon.
Click on it, in the second row, to the right there is a menu choice called message campaigns. Select it and set up your auto messaging.
I hope this helps.
Roy
Hi Roy, Do you have a tutorial on setting up WA's autoresponder?

Has anyone converted to the new WordPress block editor?
If so, how are you finding it?
I'm presently using Generate Press, and am thinking about converting to Block E
Yes, well worth it. A bit of learning but if I can do it, anyone can.
Also use Divi on another site so it sort of works the same.
But sometimes still write in site content, but have written in blocks and it is not difficult. I just like a couple of things from site content, like the pictures and save options.

To us using Divi from Elegant Themes, this new block editing system by wordpress is something not new to us and we get along with it quite more easily. To others, you will be used to it, just use it. Once you get the hang of it, you will enjoy it.
At the moment, I go back and forth between Classic and Block, as I haven't perfected everything that needs to be known in order to get my posts to the way I want them to look in the latter.
I find Classic is easier to work with overall, and there's a lot to learn with Block that still is unclear to me. Seems many more clicks are needed with Block (as Trish has mentioned) to clean up a post. However, knowing that Block will not be supported eventually, it is something else to learn.
Susan
Thanks for your input Susan, it's good to know we still have an option to switch back and forth.
I better get started before it completely disappear.
I use Generate Press Pro - And I started using Gutenberg a little while ago. Like anything new it took a while to get used to, sometimes it can still be a pain in the ass just like the Classic editor.
But with Classic not being supported after 2022. Best to switch earlier than later.
Hey Melanie,
I finally converted one site last summer, and all is fine.
You will find it frustrating to have to stop and Google just about EVERY move you want to make... until you get the hang of it.
So... what I did was left my LIVE site alone, and I created a site on the SiteRubix server, and imported my content from my LIVE site exporting the content.
Here's a video to show you what I mean: Move Post or Page From One Website to Another (Did that hoping for a clean database!)
Then I slowly converted EACH and EVERY post and page to the Block Editor... and the air was blue for several days here while converting it... but I FINALLY got it all done.
Once EVERYTHING was exactly how I wanted it to look, I made a back up copy of the temp site, and I restored my LIVE site with that backup... and VOILA!
Now I have 3 other sites of my own... and my customer's sites to look forward to converting.
I shall miss the Classic Editor, as the Block Editor forces users with 3 more clicks for EACH thing you want to do than the Classic Editor required.
Many pros I've spoken with have left WordPress for more reliable/stable CMS's due to their constant changes. Can't say as I blame them... however, that is not an option for me, at this point in time.
Thanks Trish, sounds like I'm in for quite a bit of work.
However, you gave me quite a few helpful tips.
I may consider rebuilding it in Block Editor, if it gets to complicated.

When you select an image from the stock here at WA (while writing your WA post), your editing options are limited.
You can choose to use the entire image, to do so requires you to bring the editing guides to the image's outside edges.
When you only use a portion of the image you've selected, the finished image with be distorted.
The reason why is that the image is set to fit as a banner image. All away across the blog container.
When you want to add an image within the blog post itself, you will find that the same rules apply.

Thanks for responding to my question Rudy.
Good to know the rules, very helpful indeed.

Hi
If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.
I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so that it does not get indexed as well.
Thanks for your response, the blog isn't related to WordPress or Site Content.
It was related to the complementary share button you get the you achieve something on WA.
Anyway, Rudy seems to have the answer, I'll try that.
Thanks.
I believe we have to assign our posts to their respective categories prior, so when visitors click on them, they can see all posts related.
I have no idea why would it stretch, however I have always added that I download from free image sites and found them un-stretchy or distorted. You can do same.
If this persists, you may want to report in the bug thread, I am not sure at this stage if it is technical or otherwise. The Official Bug Thread - Post Any Bugs Here
