I applied for AdSense code and was denied in my first attempt. Since then each time I make attempt to add the verification code, I get the information below.

I don't know if it's right but I downloaded the header footer plug in and pasted the code in the header box and published it in word press. Someone please tell me if I am wrong. I don't want to mislead anyone. I haven't heard from google yet so I don't know if I am accepted yet.
This tutorial shows how to insert verification code. How to Add Adsense HTML Code to WordPress Website
Thank you for the support. I actually followed this tutorial to add the verification code. Thie first time it was pretty easy. I had to do it again because my application wasn't successful the first time and then I kept getting the above information. Please, what is SFTP?
The fact that your application wasn't successful the first time doesn't mean there was a problem with your verification code. Adsense applications are often declined because of insufficient content on a website.
Did Google state the reason why your application wasn't approved?
Also, did you remove the first code you inserted into the <head> before inserting it a second time?
SFTP is Secure File Transfer Protocol, but you shouldn't need to use this method to verify the code.
I think it is time to contact Site Support on this issue.
Please let me know how you go with this problem.
There don't seem to be any code left on the site. I can't find a trace of the codes that I placed the first time. I compared this site to a new website and there is no difference. I am lost at what to do. I will escalate it to site support as advised.
Many thanks for your support.

Why do different pages of my website have different security status?
I have observed that some pages have the green padlock while others don't. Please could be responsib
Sounds to me it could be a link problem. I checked your site and your LinkedIn link is not using a Https link.
Then there are some insecure http links on that particular page.
You can look them up in the text editor, and see if you can change them into https
I've actually had this issue myself on one of my sites. Turns out it was an affiliate link on some pages I was using. Check your links on whatever page you're seeing the issue.
If you go to http://whynopadlock.com you can run each part of your site through a test and identify what causes the error.
Most likely it's a banner, an image or something like that.
Also if you have installed the site and the theme before switching on https some stuff that is called by the theme may need manually updating of the s in https to eliminate the error.
The green Secure mark in Chrome only means that the connection between you and the website is encrypted and that the certificate is installed by the person who owns the domain. It does not guarantee in any way that a website is safe, trusted or not malicious, and it does not validate scripts, plugins or other sources for wrong doings on the site. This is important to remember when we visit websites.
I think that some pages have more sensitive information than others and need to be kept more secure. A page with personal info. like social security numbers, age, birthday, credit card numbers, etc. would need to be more guarded than ones with general info. Security on the web is a major issue in this day and age and our privacy is mandatory!
Hi, I also have this problem with one page. But I discovered it is down to the banners on that page. As the banners are pre-made by the merchant on their site, there doesn't appear to be anything I can do about it.
I'll be interested to see what replies you get here....
You may be able to get around the banner issue by downloading the image to your computer, then loading it to your site directly without the merchant coding. Then just link your affiliate link to that image. I don't KNOW that this will work, but it's something to try.

I found out that the contents of all posts in one of my websites are coded. I am not sure what I did to trigger this. Please, how can I remove the codes to make editing easier?
Are you sure it's not that you are just using the 'text editor' in one site, and not the others?
See screenshots to see what I mean. This is the same content, but one is using the 'text editor' and one is using the 'visual editor'.
Thank you, Tim. I didn't know exactly what it was and what I did. I have now fixed it.
Cheers!
