Has anyone else had to remove the plugin 'Accelerated Mobile Pages'. It caused errors on one of my websites and prevented me from getting into my WordPress back office. The wo

AMP Red allows me to use Pro for free of charge, but having issues the Indian Developer has no idea to resolve so I dump it.

I switch to AMP Blue but must coupled with Asset CleanUp to use it, It works well for a few months, especially good for images and videos with no issue and speed test is excellent. Until one day, the error came, saying my child notes are more than parents notes. I try to find solution everywhere, but failed to resolve it. The page speed test result up and down, and ranking drop from 25 to 32. I have no choice to dump it.

My coach IvanBroz do not use AMP but his website page speed is excellent exactly like tmrboss.com Isaac website. Both of them achieved good ranking and page speed without using AMP. So their website is the model for my study to improve my website. Now my website page speed is as excellent like them with using AMP.

Remove AMP you have to inform Google Search Console to remove AMP sitemap. Or you wait until GSC said error in any link, you copy link to remove it. That is all I can share with you.

I had a lot of problems with AMP a couple of years ago but was able to remove the plugin myself.

Hi,

I've found that Cons of AMP outweigh the Pros unless you're having big issues with page speed or most of your traffic is coming from mobile.

Cheers,

Michael

No Jim I've never used it but I think now I never will. I'm so pleased that the technical people could fix it for you.

I can't access my WA notification tab in either my PC or my phone. Is anyone else having issues.

Good evening my dear friend, sometimes you have to push it a few times, leave and come back. I've been going through that for almost a year, be patient, leave that blog and go back to it and it will let you in. May good health and prosperity be always with you.

Hey Jim,

No issues in my Mac and iPhone.

Regards,
Monica

I even don't know what is the WA notification

It's the bell at the top right

Thanks. That bell is good and smoothy...

Lately, the notification has been very slow for me on both computer and my android phone. Not sure why.

Try refreshing the page while it's loading, Jim. That might help.

Rudy

No I'm not Jim.
Perhaps you can ask the techie guys.

I just wondered if all pages should be no index, no follow. I understand the 'contact us' and 'about us' should be , but what about any others you might add, such as one linkin

I am not sure, but in response to the comments on your link sharing post, I read the Google "Link Schemes" document and have a very different interpretation of that than the two members who warned you to No Follow and No Index these posts.

It says "excessive link exchanges...exclusively for the sake of cross linking" is the no no.

It seems to indicate that if we are linking for a genuine exchange of information it is fine. The problem is in spamming, linking in mass just for the sake of linking. I really don't think this is a big problem on the scale I would employ it with a few links to related sites.

I think Google is smart and can tell the difference.

Also, I have read that Google seems to follow and index "No Follow" posts anyway!

Jessica

I am replying to Jim's post...I don't know what you have to do with my reply to Jim. Sorry, I am not trying to waste your time, but I was not addressing this to you.

Hi Jim, I have my privacy, GDPR and about me pages indexed. I pretty much have all my pages marked as follow.

Best wishes,
Michael

Thanks Michael.

First, I like to warn that I'm new, but I believe that anything that you do not want index by google or other web search engines.
As far as linking site, you should on page that are for the masses but not on private info.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Ken Hobbs

Thanks Ken.

No, only the copied pages, like the disclaimer and the privacy policy.

Thank you Loes. Do you think a page full of links is safe to leave unchecked.

My Animated Name Signature Makers Free Online page is no #1 page 1 and has 35.000 + visitors and contains 20+ links and my Cool Amazing Free website Tools is N0 #1 page 1 too and has 6800+ visitors and contains 400+ links.

I have had no problems

Good question about no index or no follow JKulk1.
Am on the beginning of my premium and I know am going to need help.

Doesn't 'no index' mean that the search engines are asked to not index it?

Yes it does Paul. But usually it's only posts we don't tick. I was hoping to leave a page open for indexing etc. It looks like it will be ok to do this. Jim

Oh sorry mate, I misread your question. I have some pages that are indexable such as about me. But most of mine are no follow.

I only have pages for about me, disclosures and privacy and then a run of about 6 pages that people hit if they opt in to my email list.

they are all no index as well

Hi Sir!
My website has just been created. Some actions are still pending. I don't know anything about noindex or no follow. Would you please let me know about it.
Thanks,
Kalyan.

No index tells the search engines not to include that page or post in their search results. No follow tells them not to follow any links on that page or post.

Thanks, Merlynmac!
I have got it now.
Thanks again,
Kalyan.

So, do you think it would be ok to allow a page with a list of links to be indexed or followed?

Any time

Is it just a link page? Google frowns on pages that are just a bunch of links.

Yes.

As I have understood things the pages containing disclaimers and disclosure should be no indexed and no follow. I'm thinking about pages maybe should be indexed and followed? But maybe I'm wrong here. I'm sure people with more experience can pitch in with more opinions about this.

Thanks. I'm aware of the ones that definitely need to be no idexed and no followed. It's other pages that I have constructed that I wasn't sure about. But the question has now been answered. Jim

No, content pages should be indexed but pages not relevant to your niche or that might be duplicated on multiple sites (like your privacy policy) should be marked as no index.

Ok. I didn't see this comment. That answered my question. Thanks.

So I'm assuming that your "about me page" should be indexed if it's relevant to your niche right?

Any time.

If your about me page is specific to your niche, yes but if it's common between more than 1 site, no. For example, most of my about me is the same for my sites.

I received a site comment in another language and have no idea what to do with it? Any ideas? I don't want to dissaprove it. Jim

Well, I feel terrible about this But I've decided to dissaprove it. Thanks for the comments. Jim

It might be in your best interest to disapprove it and not make it visible on your site. If your site is all English, then the comment could seem like spam or not relevant to other users. I think it could do more harm than good leaving it visible

You should disapprove it, if it is not in English (and your website is in English).

Good one...well, you can copy and paste into google translate and it will figure out the language and the message, then do the reverse and answer the comment if it's appropriate.

Hi Jim,

If the person was able to look through your site, I would think they would have some understanding of the English language.

firstlearn has a good point as far as the translation is concerned.

Personally I would disapprove it as it is in a language that is not associated with your website content.

Best wishes,

Michael

Translate it and make sure it applies to your site. If it doesn't then you will have to disapprove it.

Derek

I’m not really sure as I’m new to making money online but maybe you can ask the leaders of WA: Kyle or Carson.

You can use Google Translate. If you're not sure what language it is, Google Translate has a "Detect Language" option there.

I can speak a little German and google translate is free and my go to. Good luck 🙂

Try google translate

Great to hear you are all sorted Jim

All fixed. As some of you suggested I contacted site support. It was fixed in about 5 minutes. Jim

I would contact WA support if the same thing happens to me

Hey Jim,

If you are wondering how to turn on your WA hosted website's SSL certificate then here is a tutorial to assist you: Hope you find this helpful.

I had already done that. But I'll go and check if it's still on.

It's definitely on.

The 'S' isn't missing in the main domain link at the top of the website. Only in each permalink of each post on WordPress.

Try this... see screen print below...

If this does not solve your issue than SiteSupport: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support would be the only other means of figuring this issue out. Just make sure to provide them with as much detail as you can so they can assist you quicker.
