Hi if you publish your book on KDP and you book is generated by AI you must disclose it. No matter if you make changes , alterations etc
You can do AI assisted but AI generated must be disclosed. When you go through kdp there is a section and your book will not be published under kdp unless you answer that information! Hope that helps
Hi Stephen this is what was stated on Google by Kdp which should help you further.
"Artificial intelligence (AI) content (text, images, or translations) We require you to inform us of AI-generated content (text, images, or translations) when you publish a new book or make edits to and republish an existing book through KDP. AI-generated images include cover and interior images and artwork."
You can click the link below to see their guidelines which will take you to part of what was quoted above.

Hi - are you talking about KDP on Amazon?
If so, here are their official guidelines.
"Artificial intelligence (AI) content (text, images, or translations)
We require you to inform us of AI-generated content (text, images, or translations) when you publish a new book or make edits to and republish an existing book through KDP. AI-generated images include cover and interior images and artwork. You are not required to disclose AI-assisted content. We distinguish between AI-generated and AI-assisted content as follows:
AI-generated: We define AI-generated content as text, images, or translations created by an AI-based tool. If you used an AI-based tool to create the actual content (whether text, images, or translations), it is considered "AI-generated," even if you applied substantial edits afterwards.
AI-assisted: If you created the content yourself, and used AI-based tools to edit, refine, error-check, or otherwise improve that content (whether text or images), then it is considered "AI-assisted" and not “AI-generated.” Similarly, if you used an AI-based tool to brainstorm and generate ideas, but ultimately created the text or images yourself, this is also considered "AI-assisted" and not “AI-generated.” It is not necessary to inform us of the use of such tools or processes.
You are responsible for verifying that all AI-generated and/or AI-assisted content adheres to all content guidelines, including by complying with all applicable intellectual property rights."

Not an expert, Steve but I now use ChatGPT4 as my PA for a lot of my content, but of course the A in PA stands for "assistant". I always edit and add my own original content to what the AI has suggested and have never has any issues with Amazon, Google or anyone else.
Thanks Phil, there will be a bit of investment in this so I nreyto get it right.
Thanks for replying buddy

During the publishing process, on one of the pages, there is a section where you must choose one of the following options;
- is your book wholly written by you?
- is your book wholly written by AI?
- is your book partially written or assisted with AI?
Simply choose the right option. That's what I did when I published my book: Shifting Paradigms: A Cancer Survivor's Journey of Holistic Healing.
The cover was art by AI. I had AI assist with editing small parts of my book (mostly to check spelling and grammar). Most of my book was written by me (proof: there was typo which one of my readers informed me haha). So I chose the 3rd option.
Hope this helps, my friend.

I would like your opinion on what you think is the best laptop for content creation, and why.
It needs to be a little bit "ruggedized" as I will be travelling.
I know
Hi Stevoi...I've been using a Macbook Pro for over a decade and have made loads of video content on it. It's still got a decent battery span after all these years and has served me well. For graphics, it's awesome. The differences are slightly different, but it's easy to learn. Just my two cents. :-)
Susanoi
Thanks Susanoi. I probably will go with this, the Mac Pro. I hear the battery life is about 16 hours if your doing normal stuff in it. lol, how techie…” normal stuff”
The “other stuff” (lol) I see is M1,M2 and M3 ( I gues better specs etc) I presume M3 is the bees knees ,Time to do a bit of reading…
Thanks Susanoi
I will have to name my computer.
Maybe a 🏴☠️ pirate name, If it’s black…Blackbeard, or long John if it’s silver etc.. lol.
I wonder if anyone else names their laptop… lol
Stevoi
My pleasure, Stevoi...I think you'll be happy with that decision. As for the version, that's your call. You can deck it out as much as you want, as you know lol! Lots of options and goodies. Like a club sandwich with a side of slaw and a dill pickle.
A name...hmm, hadn't considered that but not a bad idea. Let me know what you go with ;-)

I have a 15" Lenovo that I take as carry-on luggage whenever I travel. It's never let me down. It has an SSD drive so storage is rugged and fast. I use my phone's hotspot when there's no free Wi-Fi available and the combination works well. I have a good, padded carry case that has enough room for a wireless mouse (not a fan of trackpads) and my Kindle for long plane rides.
I have had an i7 Lenovo and loved it. But the battery life was a bit of a problem. It could go all day, but when I needed that extra 2-3 hours it meant plugging it in. And I’m pretty sure the Mac has a very good battery life.
I think I have talked myself into Mac. I also have an I-phone which sort of sways me as well.
Thanks
Stevoi
Hey Stephen,
I have a MacBook Pro laptop... I love it and take it with me when travelling. Mine is a 15". I put it in a well-padded computer case with handles. I never leave it in my suitcase.
Regards.
Monica
Thanks Monica. I have heard a lot of good things as out Mac’s, so it could be a go.
I see there are M1, M2 and M3’s, which are the better ones… I am a Mac dummy. lol.
Thanks
Steve
You're welcome, Steve! Macs are expensive but the quality is excellent in my opinion.
Regards,
Monica
Thanks Monicaoi,
I am pretty much decided on the Mac Pro. Time to do some reading.
Maybe raise my students tuition fees.. lol.. nnahh can’t be that mean…
You're welcome! Enjoy, enjoy...I love my Macbook Pro so much that I told my kids that when I die, my Mac gets buried with me. 😂
Hi Steve
I've used pretty much everything PC & Mac, between the home, office, and various hospitals.
I really like the Apple MacBook Air. It is very thin, light, and has all the power you'll need x10!
I'm not sure about the "rugged" part, but if you get a nice case for it, it should be fine for "business" travel (not mountaineering, lol).
Macs basically work the same as PCs. It might take you a few days to get used to the differences in where you find everything. NO biggie! 😎
Rock On! 🤘
Frank 🎸
Thanks Frank, so the air is ok with videos and video editing too.
The air would be good, as it is a bit cheaper than the pro and I love the size after looking at it
Cheers
Stevoi
The MacBook Air works great for video editing.
I’ve used it for some really processor-intensive jobs, like finite element analysis with 3-D object modeling and animation for medical device prototyping. 😎
Frank 🎸
I love my Asus laptop. 15.6" screen, 12GB ram, 512GB SSD, Super fast, rugged, reliable and has never let me down. Very affordable as well off Amazon. Got mine for under $700.
I have had an Asus before and was impressed, will look at this option. Do you do video editing as well.
Steve
I have done some basic editing with it as far as videos, nothing to extreme but I'm sure it can handle it with the top of the line graphics card and OLED display chipset.
Thanks John, I will check it out. But in honesty I will probably go down the Mac road ( sounds like McDonalds meal) lol, I will have 1 Macpro and some bytes of chips
lol, I blame my bad jokes on insomnia…
