What I do is pretty much 30% facts/specifications (my niche is sort of technological), 30% filler words and 30% praise. And 10% critisism with a tongue in cheek approach. Something like that.

I usually do blog research, compare what others have already said, article directories are a great source of information, and if product based try amazon reviews or any other product reviews you can find. This should keep you pretty busy. You have to sort through the BS, as we all do.

I look for forums within my niche, people love to talk about their new purchases, the good and the bad. I also check out reviews on Amazon and, the question and answer bit of Amazon throws up some nuggets.
For Internet marketing reviews, Amazon wouldn't apply but searching the forums is a great way of getting the low down!

thank you

Make sure you look at individuals blogs. Some may be fake but you can usually pick out the good ones as they will back up their comments intelligently.

Probably the best source for information is Google and if you search it thoroughly you'll find all the dirt as well as the happy stuff.

thanks

Hi I found this The search box up at the top if you type in reviews or product reviews you will get other answers.

Hope this helps..

thanks so much for this will definitely check it out

Thanks for asking this!

you're welcome

This is a great question I am struggling with the same thing. I had actually decided that something was not a scam and then found reviews saying it was. I was thinking it might be an idea to post a question here asking if anyone has any real experience with the thing I was trying to review. I'm not sure if that is allowed but I have seen others do it.

Ripoffreport.com is a good site to go on. You can get the information you're looking for from there.

Thanks for asking Nieshka, and thanks for this link Meghan:)

No problem.

you're welcome. you never know who else is struggling with something as well unless you ask right.

thanks

that's alright, thank you so much for taking the time to answer. I'll figure it out

You have to sign into your Amazon Affiliate account, locate the product you want to sell, save the product image to your dashboard, The click on "get link" (on the Amazon page) - that is the url that will link you to anyone who buys the product off of your site.

Upload the image to your site, then click on the image, then click on the hyperlink button in your editing tools, and paste the url Amazon gave you in the link box.

And also select the "open link in a new window" option, so when people click on it, they will not be taken away from your site - they can go to Amazon and buy the product, but your site will still be up on their browser too.

Oh boy, sounds like gibberish. Um the thing is I don't want the image from amazon, I have images already up that I want to link to a certain item.
Thanks for being so thorough.

you can still do the same thing with any related image. in fact you HAVE to do it, if you want to get paid.

ok apparently tats what I was doing already but just with my images but its saying link cant be found.

Hmmm ... guess you better see some related trainings, then ... looks like Tommy's got you covered.

add the link to your pic. click on the pencil and it will allow you to do this.

I see Kyle has it on his website linked to Wordpress, not understanding to explain it myself. It's a domain I know but what does it do simplify the Wordpress experience?

The actual siterubix website themselves are all sub domains under the siterubix.com URL> That is why they can be given away and created right here for free.

Example:
I have a site named:

shawnssite.com
Under that website I can make sub domains, which are complete websites under that name, but it will have the original name at the end of each website address.

Example:
Newsatinpillows.shawnssite.com

Here at WA you can have as many sub domains under any site you own that you care to create, within reason of course.

The whole siterubix platform here at WA covers all aspects of your website hosting creating and hosting and support.

Hope that helps :)

Excellent explanation, Shawn!

Thanks! :)

What CRP said ...

Siterubix is simply a way of offering people free wordpress websites without the need to buy a domain name. So I promote it as a free website builder.

thanks

This is a common question people tend to ask I want to direct them to this question to get more than one answer.

I have followed the training taught by Kyle and I'm earning some money from the WA, Jaaxy and Amazon affiliate programs.

Read my WA blogs on my profile to see how far I've travelled and I hope it helps to inspire many other WA members here as they build their own online businesses.

Neil

Not there yet, but am eager to here the responses to this question!

Thank you Every one wants some form of payment for what they do. It is only natural to want money as a focal point. But in WA there is a lot more than money here as you know. Not all of us chase the buck.
Ken

I have made a small amount, just over £200 over the last couple of years with a couple of blogs which were done very badly, but did prove that if all done correctly can bring in an income. My site within WA is not ready to be monetized yet, but going on experiences learn't
and the tuition and support of WA, I a confident of earning revenue from my site.

I been at it since early January and have spent most of time getting things setup and the bugs out. Bought subscriptions to a few things. Haven't made a cent yet but I expect to. My son did buy three things through some of my Amazon affiliate links however, Amazon shows the 3 purchases but no $s listed in reports. His name is also Jim Martin (not a junior). Amazon may have decided I purchased from myself - not sure.

I got nothing but time so I am not giving up.

Jim

Just joined today, in the process of adding data to my website, I find with the starter option getting to know the ins and outs of wordpress a little confusing, good thing for google Lol
Hope to have it up and running in a week or two

I found that getting to know wordpress was difficult at first, but the basics are quite simple, I still don't know much , but if I can help, I'd be glad too, take care, Allen.

Nothing yet in less than a month, but my first "real" website will be done soon (I think).

I have earned $10 so far after 3 months in, and am confident it is the microcosmic proverbial tip of the iceberg

Say like it is...people will appreciate your honesty...it maybe tempting to fake your results but in the end you're only kidding yourself :)

I posted my first week prograss and have not set up a website or earned any money yet.

What's your take on approaching it?

It comes from the heart.
Ken

Good question! I like Calvin's answer.

I suggest reading the book "Blog to Win Business: How to Enchant Readers and Woo Customers" by Henneke Duistermaat. I tell you it's a great book that will set you in the right direction regarding what to write and how to write it so you keep your "audience" hooked on your content.

thank you clavinmoore. I will definitely look into it

Werner has the best advice as far as I am concerned. The only thing I would add is to do a lot of research on JAAXY and come up with a few niche keywords to write about. Good luck with your content.

Write the way you speak. Put it aside for a few days and look at it again. Organize it logically and rewrite it. Then put it away and look at it again in a few days. Then rewrite and post. Unless you're a pro, in which case you can do this a bit more quickly and if you're on newspaper re-write you can do it instantly. Practice here is the key.

thank you, great advice

Looks like you've already gotten great adivce! Good Luck!

I'm a published novelist and professional editor, so writing content is easy for me. But I'm sure others here without literary backgrounds have learned to write good content, and can give you some pointers.

Both ladies use the same approach as I do. Once I have a niche I go to Google Alerts so I keep getting fresh content and ideas. I use keyword search to help me find title and first sentence. May not be how others do it but this is how I have been doing it

thank you

I write books, web content, blog posts and reviews for a living, so I am used to researching different topics, reading up on them, and simply re-writing what I have absorbed in my own words :)
For my site I tend to use Google Alerts for news about my subject and write a post where I give my opinion on the subject. :)

Start with a great keyword from either Jaaxy or the WA Keyword Tool. Write helpful content that engage your visitors' attention. You are here to help them...good luck!
