how do I set up a cron job for my ecommerce store on my website? I am using Azon Authority?
I see a lot of people having had problems with Authority Azon at some point in time. I have installed the plug-in Prosociate (for Amazon affiliates) and that works when you have WooCommerce installed as a plugin as well.
But now, I am trying to find out how to set up a crop job. My website is being hosted by Wealthy Affiliate.
How do I do that ?
I have had no success installing Authority Azon. The activation key won't work and I cannot get any sensible answer from the support desk. I'm afraid we have been scammed.
I had WA activate my azon authority, but they will not allow one of the plugins or do anything for the cron job. It has to do with Wa hosting platform. they will not allow certain things.
I have managed to get a full refund through going to the 'Contact' button on their website and threatening them with exposure as a scam.
I will have to find my log in info and try that.Thanks, Lainclarke! I also signed up for Physical Funnel System through them. I could never figure that out and they would not give me a refund when I asked. Their refund policy only refunded if you used the program, I believe, which I could not do. Thanks, again. I went on to find DS Domination, which is honest and legit and really works well.
Hi - Sorry to hear. I certainly hope you post something about this product and that you can't get a refund! They need to be exposed!
heart2011 if you are still around WA support can sometimes handle things that normally go through C-Panel.

I think that's something you'd have to have Support set up. I'm not hosted on WA, and need to go in through cPanel to set up cron jobs. There's no way to do so through ftp or any control in the WP admin area that I'm aware of.

Sorry, no, it is not Azon Authority. It's AutoZON ....something... builder, I believe. Sorry, not Azon... nope. In the words of Emily Litella... "nevvverminnnnnd."
You need to have access to a cPanel (private hosting not WA) and you need to have the appropriate script or know exactly what you are doing. PM me if you need more info. ~Marion
Hi Marion, WA is open for business as you can have up to 25 websites on your premium account? Why do you say above "(private hosting not WA)"..?

Hi, Marion. The setup videos for Azon Authority show how to set everything up using CPanel, which I am not familiar with.
Great as WA hosting is we do not have access to a cPanel. Most of the time we do not need to have cPanel hosting as we're working on WordPress websites and there is very little we can't do here. Cron jobs can only be done through a cPanel and are best left to the experts. If it's a plugin then we can usually use most plugins with WA hosting.

Cron jobs can only be done through a cPanel and are best left to the experts. If it's a plugin then we can usually use most plugins with WA hosting.

I use rapidmailer because there is only one payment and no monthly fee. You can then send and receive all your mail from your wordpress dashboard and have full control over everything
You can also choose to send mail without any whitelist servers involved ( less of a click through rate ) or you can choose pay per mail whitelist services such as amazon from as little as $1

your welcome. I read below and if I were rich and could affort it I would next use mailchimp or I do often use madmimi as it is so easy to use.
Because you gain benefit from their whitelisted servers you see. Another good one is icontact. Lots of people use awebber but I hated it, it's user interface and strictness sis my head in.
If you buy rapidmailer they have excellent training vids which is what you need to get you going all the others keep you guesing
I agree with Trialynn 100%. I don't know about AWeber, but I've tried MailChimp numerous times, and they haven't worked well for me either. That's why I'm trying a different approach. I've got my Google + account, and I've become active in a lot of different circles - also Face Book and Twitter. I'm always interacting, sharing my blog, reading and commenting on their blogs, etc.They are doing the same for me.
I have not yet added the MailChimp form to my site, so it sounds like it is not worth using it, even if it is free. If I understand you correctly, you are not using a sign up form on your website. Is that the case? Thank you for your advice!

Nope! I am not using a sign up form, nor do I plan on using one at this time. Like you, I've not been doing this work at home thing for very long, so I'm not getting that many comments yet. I think it's critical that I personally respond and interact with the few that are starting to comment so I can build trust and relationship with my readers. I don't want them to get the automated response that sites like MailChimp sends out.
For one thing, I had a really hard time understanding how to install it and make it work with Word Press. That could be due to lack of experience on my part. The other thing is that that 5 people subscribed, hacked into my website, and took it over by writing 15 articles about learning Chinese and got it to where all responses were directed to them and not me, the owner! MailChimp was supposed to send me an email every time someone subscribed, which they did not. Again, this was partly my fault because I wasn't checking my website every day because I was doing research on the next post I was going to write.Maybe I'm giving them a bad rap, but I'm entitled to my own opinion. I don't trust them.
Yesterday I read an answer by Carson who advised against using plugins vs AWeber, MailChimp etc. Said they just do not work.
All have advantages and differences. I use AWeber. Some are free, but advertise on your "space". Some limit the amount of clients you can have, worse some will not let you export your clients to change them to a new service. Depending on your financial ability, I would start with what I believe is the best overall. AWeber. $1 first month, 19 or so for the remaining months. Excellent customer service, tons of training material!

Will that let me export clients to a new service? Is there a free one that you think is ok to use to start out (and then be able to switch to AWeber later)? Thanks again.

I do not remember the rules and regs for the rest of the Autoresponders, I think MailChimp is one that does not allow export, but I could be so wrong. Take a look at their terms of service. I was lucky enough to systematically delete Autoresponders till I got down to AWeber and GetResponse. I probably should have kept all the notes I had on them, but, at the time, I was not a member of WA and did not think it necessary. Sorry for that!
You might ask Sherri Grotts what she did not like about MailChimp!

A mailing list is extremely important. It gives you a targeted audience to advertise to over and over again. You do need a bit of traffic before you can get signups.

Thank you, Sgcowan. The pdf document came from a site where I had to log in with a password, so I do not know that I could link to it. I will look into Dropbox, which is new to me.
Just upload the PDF to your website and link to it from your web page. You can also use Dropbox which is a good option.

The place I was not seeing the Like button was on the Facebook pages I created for my websites: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Happy-and-Healthy-for-Life/1437242669886115 and https://www.facebook.com/diyprobioticfoods. I had been choosing "Use Facebook As" these pages, and the Like buttons were not there. When I am logged in as myself (my personal page), and then search for these pages, the Like buttons are there. I am sorry I did not figure that out sooner. Thank you so much for your response!
