Im going to have to leave wealthy Affiliate for a while. Will I still have the websites I bought and will Im still be able to use wordpress to work on them if I use the free me

Yes Fred, you CAN take your websites with you and transfer your domain names to another website host. Please make sure you do so BEFORE your membership expires.

Here's an easy method of taking the content of your websites with you: though the label says "to WA" it also works to use this as a backup plugin and/or moving your website to wherever you want.

And... for your ease of knowing WA's namesavers: to provide to your next website host.

Sorry to learn that you have to leave. WA is pretty good at keeping websites in an archive for about 6 months after your membership expires... so, no panic is necessary should you decide to come back in, say, three months.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hello,
Once you've gone Premium, you can't downgrade to Starter. If you cancel the following will happen:

1) You will have access to your WA account up until it's expiration date.

2) You will be able to log into your sites directly for up to 30 days after your account expires to manage them.

3) 30 days after your account expiration, your sites will be removed. You will need to have moved them to another hosting provider before this time or they will go offline.

If you start up your Premium membership before the 30 days, then nothing will happen. If you come back after that, you will need to restore from a backup or ask Site Support to do so.

Hi - if you cancel your membership, you can't go back to being a free starter. You will be given 30 days to move your website to another hosting provider.

You will own the website but will need to host it elsewhere if you cancel your WA membership.

You won't be able to go back to the Starter membership once you have gone Premium.

You will have 30 days to move your site to other hosting. The site is yours but the hosting is part of the Premium membership.

If leaving wa will I still have the websites I bought?

When I try to edit my images in

WordPress it jumps to the bottom of the post. Does anyone have a solution?

Problem solved it was a browser issue switched browsers and it is working fine. Thank you, everybody, for the help Especially Pernilla who gave me the answer.

Fred, I had an issue with editing images for some weeks ago. See my question here: The problem was the edge browser after the latest windows update. See the answer of TedBliss (see the link to my question). Now I use chrome instead. It works fine, no more issues.
:-)

I haven't had that type of issue, but I have had other issues with images that have been theme related. So that may be a part of the problem you are having.

I have never had that problem. Perhaps it is the theme. Did it just start or have you had the problem all along?

No its always worked fine until here lately I really think it was one of the updates WordPress done but don't know how to change that. I'm just hoping someone else has had that problem and found a way to fix it.

Hopefully it may just go away as it appeared
If its an update problem maybe it will be fixed in the next update and if that's what caused it you may not be able to fix it. Try the WP online community.

Social Engagement & Marketing

I've got a new group starting up and the posts that are shared on there don't have shared buttons on them so them can be shared.

Hey Fred,

You can find social media plugin tutorials offered right here at WA. Check out the screen print below to see how to find them...

Hope this helps you.

Here's what I'm talking about

After seeing your screenshot, I can see that the problem is with your Facebook settings. A post must be set to 'public' in order for that button to appear. It's possible you may have to change the audience once you've posted it on facebook for that share to appear.

Hey Fred,

Mel has already given you the instructions to fix this issue. Glad you have this worked out now.

Great question Fred!
I was also wondering about this.
:-)

That was it Mel thanks for the help I appreciate your time.

Didn't know about this.
Thank you Mel!!
:-)

Pernilla the share button doesn’t become available until the group that you are in is public. I have learned something new today Great!

Social share buttons only work on your blog - they don't transfer over to the target site.

But you have to get them on your blog##

Yes, I do that via AddAnyShare plug-in.
