Hi all, do my sidebars and header have to show on every page? If not, how do I remove them from some pages? I'm using theme twenty sixteen.
Best bet is to try to look for a plugin. Otherwise you would have to write a custom php function to be able to do that.

You can remove the sidebar from individual pages (on some themes) by changing the template/attributes: Change The Look of Your Pages With Page Templates

How do I add the amazon store to my site. I have the code just can't do it. Do I need the editor? I don't think I have that on my free site.

This little video should help, I used the Twenty Sixteen theme Drop Down Drag and Drop Menu With Custom Links and Non-Clickable Headings
You don't say which theme you are using. The menu structure, and particularly the footer, is theme dependent. Not all themes have a footer menu but you can create one.
Start with this training: WordPress Menus- Create and Customize a menu To move your privacy policy to the footer, first check to see if your theme has a footer menu. If it doesn't you should be able to create a custom menu using widgets.
