I was on a few days compulsory leave from the community; I've now returned and find that I'm overwhelmed with Emails. Can you share your experience regarding th
I try to keep up with the days I've actively working. The days that are dedicated to writing, I may not get to all emails, content is king, right. Lately I'm dedicated to home remodel again, so I'm off line quite a bit. I try to answer all of my direct responses and delete everything else. It is overwhelming. Type fast.

You can go into your settings and stop a lot of them coming in - i agree there is a lot - but some is good

Hi Tosh. I must admit that I agonise over all the emails that I receive. I am grateful for them but it is overwhelming at times. It worries me that I do not "like" the emails if I just delete them as I do not want to offend, especially after some of the great work that goes into them. As always, I will take Loes wisdom and advice and, from now on, will delete those older than 1 day.
Still feel bad about it though.

Hey Sheila, I use Helen's training to solve my email overload problem and it worked for me : How to defeat an overload of emails.
I would start at a break point say 8 PM and just do them all from that point. Screen the older ones but only answer the ones you consider important.
You can uncheck some of the "less needed" notifications in your email settings via here:

Your profile page only shows the last 10 blogs (it's the same for everyone). To find earlier posts click on the View brooksbode90's Blogs button.
Thank you much, Marion, I certainly wasn't aware, I guess it provides an opportunity for me to learn that. I just realized it wasn't saved in my word document, and thought I could get a copy of it, that's why I missed it,
It may have been dubbed a violation as being marked for takedown. Also there might be some processing delay that could take up to a week to resolve.

I'm seeking to create a new user within wordpress, but I'm not sure whether I need to include siterubix in the url. I would surely appreciate some help here. Thank you very muc
I'm not sure if I understand your concern clearly. Siterubix is the free domain flatform used in Bootcamp, I wonder why you still need it being a premium member.
Thanks Paul, I think it's a matter of choice and context here, I can always do the transfer when I'm satisfied. . . I wanted to be sure about the URL though, hope to hear back from you.
If you go premium you can always transfer your siterubix website to your own domain such that you don't loose anything. If 'siterubix' as a word was included in the domain name then it will still appear in it and vice versa is true.
If siterubix is in the domain name, you will need to include it for anything regarding the site.
If you're referring to a domain name that you've purchased rather than a siterubix subdomain, the siterubix would not be part of the URL.
Is it a purchased website or one you made with the siterubix program. Purchased websites do not need siterubix extension.

I see that my website say publish, after I only saved the draft. Can someone explain the meaning of this.
Thanks much, guys for helping out.
You use draft form until you are completely happy with your page or post. At this point no one sees it. Once you have checked your content, spelling, grammar, layout etc THEN you publish it and it goes live.
This gives you the opportunity to muck around a bit until you are satisfied and no-one can catch you out. Like a safety net.
Check out llj-tucson, below, about the drop down box. If at any time you realise your page/post isn't quite right go to this box and select draft. That takes it off published so no one can see it until you fix it up.
I think it means that you can still publish your site while it is being drafted. I also like your bird profile. That is a mocking bird if I am not mistaken.

I just like the unique feature of those birds flying backward, as they hover in the air, rapidly flapping their wings, I watch them from time to time.
Yes, I meant to say humming bird. They are also common here where I am. The mocking bird is a different breed, but somehow I got the two confused. This is what the Mocking bird looks like.
I got stuck on this as well and admit it is a bit confusing. Sorry don't know the answer but somebody out there will for sure. PS... i just wanted to say I loved the little bird as your profile... what is it?

I've been confused by this too. You're seeing the word Publish where you normally see Save Draft. Look to the right of Publish. Do you see a little drop down arrow? If you click the arrow, the Save Draft button appears again. I'm not sure why it sometimes collapses.
Do you mean the button that you click when it's time to publish the post? That will stay there until you publish the post then you'll get the "Update" button instead.
