No, your notifications come through to the email address you have set up in your account settings. You could set up a new gmail or other email account if you want to separate them from your personal email. :)
If you click on your own photo up top, then click Account Settings. You will see the current settings underneath.
The blogs only show up for the people you followed.
I honestly don't know. If you have a site through WA, email comes with that. You would just change your email in your profile to your site email. That might work. Good Luck, Alice!

Thanks everyone for trying to help with this. I think the answer is that I've asked for something that the system is not set up to accommodate. :( appreciate all the feedback though! :)

When I ran into glitches, several people said I should switch from Safari to Google Chrome. I am on an old mac (Powerbook G4) and it turns out my OS is 10.5.8 and one must have 10
I also used mozilla firefox before switching to google chrome ... it worked quite well for me though it was a tad bit slower.
You always seem to be there trying to help me! I appreciate it. For now, my problems are solved. Mark gave me advice and now my old computer is running Safari just fine, and I am able to continue with my lessons. :)
Hi Alice. If you are able to run all of the major browsers that would be useful so you can check how your site looks in each if them. So, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and of course Safari for Mac users. These browsers make up over 98% of the browser population.
Yes Alice Firefox works very well & has some cool plugins you can use. Also check out Piriform & DL their free cookie cleaner,use it 2-3 times a day. I think you will be amazed with the difference. Jon

Alice--I was in the same boat. Unfortunately you can't upgrade to 10.6--your G4 won't support it. Safari should work for you, I was using it on a G5 imac with 10.5.8 and it worked. Maybe try downloading a cache cleaner like YASU or IceClean, clean the browser caches, do a re-boot and see what happens.

Mark, can you help? I am using my iphone. IceClean is supposed to be cleaning caches on my Mac but the little wheel has been spinning for ages! I think I need to reboot or force quit but it says not to do that! "Could be dangerous". What to do?

Don't know exactly, but as a fellow Mac user you might try these.
Upgrade to Leopard or Snow Leopard. (OS 10.6). It's free
Copy to a word processor first. MS Word etc.
Empty the browser cache
Power down and back on
Try Firefox.

-I can't copy that privacy page that Kyle placed under the video. I can't copy it AT ALL!!! I have never seen anything like it!

I'm on a Mac OS X 10.9.4, I had to upgrade my computer last year, nothing was working any more. Do you have a Mac store anywhere near you. They may have an affordable solution for you. That's what I would do.

It seems we are forced to choose a classroom before we can submit a question. Why can't I just "put it out there?" I don't know who can answer so i don't know whom I should be
I don't know the answer to that question, but I agree which you. Why can't we just type in the question in a question box.
I would suggest choosing a further advanced classroom that may have already found out how to do what you may be asking, since they are further along.
Just click the pencil at the top right and click on "Ask Question"
Or type Question in space at top center.

P.S. Top centre only brings up the screen on the bottom that makes me choose a classroom! It was frustrating me. If I had been to all of the classrooms to know where the question would best fit, i would already know a lot and not have so many questions! LOL Your solution is best. Thanks again.

When I don't know I choose Getting Started. People will have visibility and later as you become more knowledgeable you will be able to choose more closely the classroom you need.
