A new feature in GPT, a Memory, lol - What is GPT at here?

Hi Abie, try this tip, maybe it can help you.
DON'T OPEN ALWAYS new chats, but open just ONE CHAT for an entire project. This surely helps to give a contest to AI in order to process your requests in better way (with its own limits though!).
So, for example, if your goal is to creare a PINTEREST CALENDAR AROUND A TOPIC, just open one chat and always talk in that chat around the topic, until you reach your goal:
- present who you are and what you do
- create the target avatars
- ask to define the pain points and interest for the avatars
- define the calendar
All this in the same chat. Remember for AI providing the contest and reinforcing it, it helps it to go deeper into the subject!

I am pretty curious about what to expect. It gives examples of situations when you are in settings, but nothing is happening on my end. My box is empty.

ChatGPT will become more helpful as you chat, picking up on details and preferences to tailor its responses to you. Learn more
To understand what ChatGPT remembers or teach it something new, chat with it:
“Remember that I like concise responses.”
“I just got a puppy!”
“What do you remember about me?”
“Where did we leave off on my last project?”
That's a great feature, because you can train it to recall even older infos you exchange with it in that chat! Anyway, it can do it in same way even in the free version.
I did a simple test by asking GTP to recall the infos about the 5 target avatars he created previously (always in the same chat, not in a separate ones).
Between the moment in which it created the avatars and the moment in which I asked to recall these infos, there were 10 days in which we worked on product descriptions for these avatars. So after 10 days, I asked it to recollect all the infos about the avatars and organize them into a scheme and it did it correctly.
But I guess the "memory" feature will help GTP to gather infos across all the chats! If it so, it will be really great!

You would want to have a bit of a horizontal suspension; otherwise, you will hit the steel on your way down. It's a hazardous activity as is, if you ask me. 🤔🤣🤔🤣

If you highlight any paragraph within the block editor, Copilot automatically pops up and says ‘rewrite’ and you have the option to choose what it’s written for you or keep your paragraph as it is.
I have found the fluency is slightly better with some paragraphs compared to the AI that I’m using within WordPress.

That's awesome; I tend to overthink not leaving content in bot vs human form; thus, I over-edit things, lol, And that takes me a lot of time to get articles or pieces of content out.
Also, I leave it a bit, then go back and proofread them after a few days to see how they sound, and the editing process starts again.
It's the story of my life, lol
Yes I very often read over what’s written and I always have to tweak certain bits to make it sound more human. There really is no comparison to writing content yourself but I must admit it that takes a lot of the pressure away when it comes to research but even then we still have to go over and over it! 😅
I prefer the AI way, to be honest :) It saves so much time and productivity is tops... I am like 25 to 30x more productive... Also saving on personnel lol

Having now seen your image of your settings I followed up with OpenAI. Mine, although up-to-date, is different and does not include the Memory option.
Apparently they randomly select accounts for testing new features and the Memory feature has not yet been generally released so most of us won't have this option yet.
So, you can either consider yourself lucky to have been chosen, if it works, or unlucky if not!

LOL...I received a similar response a while back for a cute image of chickens. For my life, I never could figure out what would be against usage policies for a picture of chickens. I switched two words, and I had no problems after that. Sometimes, I think ChatGPT's mind is in the gutter.

It might describe a deep, vibrant shade of purple, similar to the color of a ripe eggplant. Alternatively, it could be a culinary term describing a dish made with eggplant that is flavorful, perhaps prepared with luxurious ingredients or cooked in a way that enhances its richness.
Then when I asked how to cook rich eggplant, it gave me the recipe for Eggplant Parmesan.
Maybe there something in the wording or how your phrase it, Abie?

The word “rich” may be the problem as the GPT could make the inappropriate association of rich vs poor, which may have violated a visual content restriction.
Oftentimes, these GPTs are not intelligent enough to fully understand the appropriateness of the restrictions placed on them, and they may give an illogical response since an image of rich eggplant clearly has a different meaning.
Try substituting the word rich with something like lucious and see what happens.
For example, I’ve come across a similar problem with the word “elderly,” even though from the context of my sentence it was not meant to be judgmental or hurtful.

I thought it might be an egg, as I asked about an interpretation of a previous joke I made in the live chat. (which, of course, I wasn't aware of at the time) -
But yeah, it does make sense... Perhaps I should be considerate of how I word things.
I asked it again, and it gave me good images... I tried to find a picture I wanted to show and asked GPT to create another based on the uploaded image.

It's a lot smarter and more playful than Claude Opus, lol (I have Opus with Poe.com). I subscribed for one month to try it out.
They say that Opus outranks GPT4, but it has yet to prove its worth lol... I'm not sure I would want to pay another month of Poe, to be honest.
Dall-3 makes good images in Poe, but GPT4 is better lol.

That's what is next on the agenda :) I have not yet. Dall3 amped their imagery, so I stopped subscribing to Leonardo. Ai.
I have never had good results with Leonardo AI creating Pinterest images for my guitar niche. It creates unrealistic shapes on things like neck headstocks, etc.
DALL-E 3 does a great job with creating realistic guitars and amplifiers, right down to the knobs, and recognizes the differences in body shape between one guitar and another.
Once I found the right image AI, it was all in the prompts. So, I created custom GPTs with very specific image design specifications.
That's very clever, Frank! I may have to do that, too, at some stage.
Leonardo may be better with general imagery; it does produce great quality. But obviously, I can do a lot better with Dall3
I may be in touch real soon to learn more about the custom GPTs, lol. So, I take it you build them with your own prompt specs and keep enhancing them until you get what you want.

Yeah, that's all there is to it. For example, I'll create a GPT for a certain make and model guitar and add all the required specifics for model year, body finish, fretboard wood, etc.
The rest is just experimentation and refinement until I get what I need.
It works well for me because I'm designing reusable objects and putting them in various environments, like a recording studio, etc.
It would not be worth all the effort if I were creating totally different images with each AI session. In that case, I'd use DALL-E 3 in the generic ChatGPT4 AI.

Based on this question, I may do a 40 to 70 posts guide covering growing, harvesting, and creating with Eggplants under one roof :) Later, I can build a shop with eggplant produce supporting local farmers - the imagery is immaculate but general. But it is a start...
