Good morning WA Family,
I am really worried and stressed because since I launched my site last week and MY ONLINE SHOP, many customers keep on saying that the site is not re

I removed a bunch of plug ins on my web site and I think my site is running much faster.

That is a difficult thing to try and figure out which plug ins to remove. I was at 0% before I removed lots of plug ins and I'm at 90% now. I may have to add more later. I went a year without much activity and it runs better now. So I have to be careful what plug ins I need in the future and I will pay attention to that.

Yes, I agree with you! I installed just the ones that were strictly necessary for my shop online, anyway I will revise them again!

Has this been figured out? Have you reached out to site support to find out the cause? It could be something you have changed recently or a conflict on your website.

I tried six different WordPress theme/plugin detectors against your site. They all failed. They either didn't work at all, or they said your site is not using WordPress or is heavily modified to hide the fact that it is using WordPress. In my experience, this sometimes means you have a TON of plugins that are killing the performance, and/or the plugins are not compatible with the version of WordPress running on your site. The typical troubleshooting steps are to disable all plugins, and slowly start adding them back in to determine which one(s) might be causing the issue.

I have the bare minimum plugins on three sites here at WA, and have never had my sites go down except for a few weeks ago when some of WA's servers got attacked.

Thank you so much! I just installed all the plugins necessary for running my online shop, trying to reducing them at the minimum. I will try to understand what can I remove, but most of them, and believe me they are 20 plugins, only 10 plugins for running the online shop (flexible shipping, different method of payments, only woocommerce has 4 native plugins on its own :( and the others are installed with the Astra theme.

I will go deeper into this! Thank you for taking your time for analyzing my website!

It's true, e-commerce sites are more involved, yet only the WooCommerce plugin is necessary.

I just went to your website, and discovered that you have two cart pages and two checkout pages. You only need one each.

That may be part of the problem.

Also, I did not see a 'shop' or store to indicate WHERE to make a purchase.

Your site is in Italian, and that makes it a little tough to decipher. If you want, you can add a plugin to translate the website.

Uhm Rudy, there is surely the SHOP page on the header, I see it with my own eyes.

I deleted some times ago the double pages the AI created while setting my website (it came with Astra theme). I will check them again, thank you for telling me!

Like I said, I don't know Italian, so if there's a shop page, I didn't see it.

Plus, you might want to view your site from a cell phone, as I did. You will see the site differently.

Also, are you using WordPress?

Even my private websites hosted here show up on a website detector.

That is strange. I don't know the reason but perhaps you should ask site support if you have not done already. I am sure they will be able to help you

They know exactly what is going since I write them often to solve this down problems. Maybe most of you don't realize it because you don't have an online shop, but I think there are often down episodes, Mark
