Hey Jamie,
Someone mentioned this exact issue a few days ago now. Tried searching for the question that was asked... but could not find it.
One of the members stated that they had the exact same issue and that SiteSupport fixed it for them. So... that's the step I would take if I were you... contacting SiteSupport, I mean: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
When you find out what they do to fix it... you could create a tutorial as this is the 3rd time I've seen this issue in the last little while.
Hope you find this helpful.
UPDATED: found it! How to create your own ads.txt file for adsense?
Ok. Thanks I will try this. I haven't been around for a while. Hope I didn't wait too long...
Found this https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-create-and-manage-ads-txt-files-in-wordpress/.
Unfortunately it requires a plugin to work... I'm going to try and use the plugin and then deactivate it after importing the code. I'll let you know how it goes.
I figured out how to get the ads I didn't like of my page, but I still don't understand what the ads.txt thing is. It says I need it to avoid counterfeit ads, but why would I have counterfeit ads when the only ads I have are the ones from them?

Hey Jamie,
Google searching "why deleting wp tags caused exclude by 'noindex' tag" I found the following... see screen print below...
Looks like there is a specific method you needed to follow in deleting your tags. You may want to run the same search and read through some of the posts/guides to see if there may be a fix for clearing these error prompts from your Google Search Console.
Hope you find this helpful.
Ok. Thank you. I will read that, but I deleted the tags because of the exclusions. I am now wondering if I have something in my AIO set to not index certain things that maybe should be indexed...
I have been doing this for a year and a half now and I really have no idea about anything. I spend so much time trying to figure things out.
I really appreciate your time! Thanks again
Hey Jamie,
The safest way to do this is to follow Kyle's advice and turn all other "noise" off. Once you've mastered Kyle's instructions you could then venture out one new thing at a time.
It is in the coverage area on google search console. I am not totally sure what they are, but basically it is something google is attempting to read and cannot for whatever reason.

I just noticed that Google Search console has a bunch of errors listed in my indexing coverage report. It appears that all the errors are the "Keywords" I have added in the all
Jamie, neither Kyle nor Jay use the SEO nominated keywords. Either in All in One or on the post/page SEO section.
The search engine searches the keywords, including the target one, as it goes through your content.
If you put tags in your SEO section, too many may be noted as keyword stuffing. Here is a link to an old Jay tutorial. Note some of the info has been superceded but it still lists some good and relevant info. 10 Steps Required for Top Google Rankings
You have some contradiction between AIO settings and sitemap settings. Most likely tags are included in the former while they are excluded in the latter. So Google is telling you to correct exactly this. Easy job, just a couple of clicks in settings.
Jamie, you don't need these at all. Jay & Kyle never add these in their training! Neither in All in One or on the individual post/page SEO section.
The search engines find the keywords in your content so the use of these places offers very little benefit.
Ok. I thought we were supposed to add related keywords that don't necessarily appear in the post to get s wider variety of searches sent to my post.
Whoops, looks like I repeated myself!
You will certainly have related keywords already in your article. Have a read of my WA post. Keywords - They are Just Words!
I read your post. Thank you. I think I have a pretty good grasp on putting keywords in my articles, I just thought we were supposed to put additional ones as tags or in the "keyword" section in the AIO Seo that don't directly appear in the post.
From what everyone is saying I must have misunderstood, or received false information somewhere along the way. I guess I will have to go back and incorporate what I can of them directly into the posts or just delete them and let google do their thing. I am afraid it is working against me since I didn't understand.
It will take a long time to back through and change every post. Think I will start first thing in the morning.
Thanks for your help!
Jamie
I agree with Narion over the excluded items and also Marley makes a valid point that I agree with as well.
The tag box is so similar articles can be grouped together which helps on searches on your website.
I would be more concerned about the 976 "Excluded" items. Why are some things not being indexed?
I don't know. I feel I a have something totally set up wrong, but I have no idea what or how to fix it. I haven't changed anything since I set things up in the beginning when I started my website a year and a half ago. I don't even know how to figure it out. Everything I know I have learned since then. I had no previous experience with websites or anything. I just followed the steps presented to me. Do you know how I can figure out what and why those 976 items are excluded?
It's possibly something in the settings for your SEO plugin, Jamie. If you can't figure it out yourself, ask Site Support to help. Contact Site Support for Technical Issues With Your Website
Jamie,
Keywords for your posts do not go in the tag section
they belong underneath in the SEO section of your
post see the sample below I attached.
Ok. Thank you. The other comments on this seem to think I don't need them at all...do you have a different opinion? Should I go through and move them all to that area? Or just delete them altogether?
Jamie,
Delete the tags - but make sure to include them in the
SEO strip at the bottom of each post this will help the
index and ranking :)
