Thanks, Loes, for this training!
In the beginning, it was all Dutch to me!? lol, (in a good way, of course).
Now, thanks to your training tutorials, I am beginning to "understand" more Dutch!

dank je

Yes Loes, this was very helpful, especially info on the Advanced side of things. And I love the alternative plugin you used with a proven No Fail rate ha ha. I dislike doing things over and over again don't you?

Yes, I like one-time actions too:)

lesson 1 step 3: this error message appears : "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below."
how i fix it to continue?
Reply
Loes Premium
is that with the Google XML plugin?
Reply
Loes Premium
Be sure you didn't copy the dot behind the code!

The "-index" was missing :) Now is working.

I activated the AIOS XML sitemap option instead of using the plugin because I understand this is a better option.
Now when I go to settings there is not XML sitemap option.
What should I do?
Reply
Loes Premium
I have tried to use the AIO sitemap option several times, but it didn´t function at my websites, I can't help you because I have no experience with the AIO sitemap function.
Can you please ask the community for advice? And find someone who has actually used this option?
Reply

I will but for now i will just install the plugin and follow your training so i can move on.
Thanks

If you get the error and add the new sitemap, does that do anything to your current rankings or anything? Is it like starting over again?
Reply
Loes Premium
Be sure you do not copy the dot at the end of your code, that's often the reason for the error

Hi Loes,
Good tut.
I've got the internal error and am not seeing any sub sitemaps. I have been confused about this for ages.
In the beginning I added my website sitemap to webmaster tools but am I supposed to add every single post as well ? In google search console my site is shown but there is zero statistics.

For the sitemap error, please contact website tech support.

The second part of your question:
Google is crawling your website about once a week, and when you have the habit, like me, to share your post after publishing.

I like Google to see that, Google sees everything.
So, I publish my post, share it on Social Media, fetch it with Google, Google sees the interaction, and is motivated to rank my post higher.
Does this make sense?

Hi Loes,
When you say you fetch it with google. You mean, you manually fetch each post in search console every time. I only have my website sitemap that is demonstrated in Kyles tutorial. I'm a bit confussed with how this system works.

I will contact support now.

Thanks
Reply
Loes Premium
Yes, I fetch every post I write manually:)
Reply
DSonic Premium
O.k cool thanks I'm gonna dive in and do that now. My fetch as google url's are all showing redirected even though my https: was added and updated ages ago. is this one for Support ?
Reply
Loes Premium
You have to select the https:// before you add your new blog, there is a little arrow that will give you a dropdown and then you can choose for the http or the https

Hi loes! Just wondering, how many days before google index my sitemap? Because right now the status is pending. And also i tried using fetch as google but it keep saying redirected. What does this mean ? and how to solve it. Would really appreciate a solution thanks!
Reply
Loes Premium
1. it can take up to 10 days
2. are you perhaps having your site changed into https and do you add the URL to the http version, you get a redirect
Reply
benjaminkris Premium
Thanks a lot ! Solved the problem already ! Oh and one more question ....on wealthy affiliate site manager tab....it says that my site is google index but the google search console says otherwise ....so what does it actually mean ? Is it indexed or not ?
Reply
Loes Premium
Have you sent in a sitemap, Benjamin?
Reply
benjaminkris Premium
Yes I have submitted the xml sitemap to google search console, currently only 5 out of 28 posts have been stated as indexed on it.
Reply
Loes Premium
Google is a bit slow sometimes, but they have noticed your website, that's good, now it is up to you to keep them noticed, every new blog post you fetch with google fetch, after a while your indexed pages and posts will grow

Hey Loes,

My website hosted here at WA refuses to allow me to:
1. checkmark Include sitemap in HTML format.
2. Add new page under Additional pages
...yet, I can easily make these changes on my Toronto hosted websites.

Am guessing it may be caused by the security settings on the WA website servers ... maybe?
Reply
Loes Premium
I think so, I can not check that option too, and I host all my websites here Trish
Reply

Well, you motivated me into installing this plugin into my many other websites rather than an all inclusive, manually updated version, so Thank YOU Loes!

Loes what is this, my settings are totally different. I use it within AIO.
Reply
Loes Premium
That's why it is different, this is the plugin Google XML Sitemaps, the one which is advised by Kyle in the certification course
Reply

Reply
Loes Premium
Did you use the plugin Kyle advised? Google XML sitemaps?
Reply
Gordon-D Premium
Ahh no AIO sitemap, is there a big difference. I thought I read somewhere that there was no need to use the plugin, use AIO
Reply
Loes Premium
I have 7 websites, and the AIO refused to do its job on the first 3 I tried, so I go for Kyle's recommendation

OK am going to change over and follow your immaculate training. :-)

On another subject, when setting up GA what do you class as Industry category
