Hi all!
I'm not quite sure how to do this...
I'm making a free report available on a health website that I am working on, and I want to add a "Get My Free Report"
How to add a "get free report" button on website?

Hi all,
In the near future, I'm going to be looking at creating E-books/Lead magnates for people using their most successful/popular blog posts. When I'm ready to creat
I think you can still put your website link on your profile. I have seen many doing it.
Also, one can put website link AFTER blog posts. But I think no affiliate links are allowed here.
As far as your profile is concerned, you may do anything except posting personal emails or addresses. You may need to check this again though.
I'm not sure what you mean by website link after blog posts - that would be a signature, and those are not allowed either. You are correct, the only place you can put the links is on your profile or any of the locations here: Where can I post my links?
No, I did not mean signature. There's the list of blog posts a member has done, and I see web links after them. I personally haven't done it though. And it needs to be entered before in the area allocated for that. I will check it now... I'm sure it is allowed even though posting links in individual posts isn't.
When I first joined WA, everyone's website was visible and posted automatically. Now, it can be seen only if one has posted on their profile or just after the list of blog posts, which is allowed.
I'm checking what the link you sent has to say...
Oh, that is the profile, I know what you mean now... that is what we're referring to when we say you can post your link on your profile. I didn't think about it appearing under the blog posts. Thanks for clarifying.
You might try this through social media, without going through WA, i think I've seen it done that way. Or reference a pilot project on your site, in places where links are allowed, or even through your e-mail list?
Let us know how it goes......☺
You may not promote anything outside WA, you can benefit from, no affiliate links, no driving people to your website, not asking for followers etc. I have a 300+ amazing free website tools link page on my website and was whistled back for placing the link to it. I gained website traffic, they said. So no, it is against the rules.
Thanks MKearns! I wasn't sure since I wasn't selling anything, but I wanted to check first! Glad I did :)
No, solicitation of any type using your WA blog is not allowed. Nor is linking to your website from your blog - only on your profile.

Hi everyone,

It's registered here. Google is asking me to delete the MX records on my site, but I can't find anything about this on WP.
Yeah. It's not a WP thing it's the domain DNS thing. Basically you have to go https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains and find something that says Edit or Manage DNS. Once you get in there, you should see one of the lines saying MX. Sorry I don't have my domains here, so I can't tell you where exactly to find it and I couldn't find a tutorial here on how to do it. If you get that far you should be able to finish the Google guide.

Hi everyone!
I'm wanting to move one of my websites from WA to another platform to try a slightly different strategy for that particular site. Can someone tell me how t
I realized I may not have given enough detail at first, this may make a difference. I'm not looking to transfer the information. I just want to delete this WordPress site and build a basic website in Clickfunnels using that particular domain name. Does this make a difference? I am still pretty new in online business ventures and so I'm pretty clueless as to the process of transferring the domain URL itself. Is that as simple as just deleting the website here on WA? For the Clickfunnels side to use a purchased domain all you have to do is select use custom domain and then insert the domain name. Im just not sure about if there is a specific action I need to take beyond just deleting the site here on site manager. My apologies for not providing enough detail initially.

If that's the case, you'll need to change the DNS settings to point to wherever you will have that domain hosted.
If WA is also your registrar, you would go to https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains and go into settings
If WA is not your registrar, you need to log in to that registrar and edit the nameservers.

In sales, I always hated using the word free. I always told people something was included. :)
Hopefully Marion's link will help.
The new host should be able to assist you with this, but most of them are probably used to doing it via Cpanel, which we don't have here.
It's easy enough to export content via FTP or through the tools in the WP admin area, but you'll need to use something like WP Clone(mentioned in Marion's link) or Adminer for database access.
Good luck.

I use the http://dabuttonfactory.com/ to create buttons for my website.
Just tried that out, Glen, wow!
One of the other WA members shared Da Button Factory. I had the same reaction, Wow!
Thanks so much! I'm always amazed at how great the community here is!
