Thanks for your help. I ran into a system error caused by my being in Germany and then I tried what you suggested. It sort of worked but I tried it before and it is not the best way. I will try more later.
If you're wanting to add affiliate banners, Go to "Appearance", "Widgets" then paste the code into a "Text" box.
All the best!

I dropped webhosting a few weeks ago. Comments are still coming in but there are no comments on the latest posts. Is there a definite and clear connection between the two or n
Sorry Miriam, I don't that much about hosting but I would presume that one you cut your hosting off your post would not go out to the public but you might still receive post or blogs. Just saying.
what do you mean you dropped webhosting!
whether your site is hosted here on WA or on some other webhost (such as hostgator) it must hosted somewhere
if it is not hosted anywhere, nobody will ever be able to visit your site
if that is the case, that would explain why there are no comments
all the best,
How does webhosting affect comments?

Go to Users in your WordPress dashboard and see if there is a user called Jennifer Lopez there, if so delete it, then add yourself as admin.
Then go to Settings - General and make sure the Membership box is unchecked.

Do you mean on a post or on the footer of the website itself? You can change the admin on a post by setting up a new user in the siterubix menu and editing the posts within the dashboard.

When 'it works' and we earn affiliate commissions, how do we get the money?
Yes this is a good question. For WA we are paid via our paypal account. Other affiliate programs do the same or put money onto a pre-paid MasterCard. But Clickbank send out cheques because I am outside the USA. Within the USA Clickbank will do direct deposit into a nominated account. But there are very few affiliate programs that do direct deposit.
For each affiliate program you sign up with you will need to check your preferences under your account settings tab.
Here at WA, it's paid monthly to your Paypal account. The programmes I'm out with WA, I've opted for Paypal but some will do cheque or bank transfer. :)
Hi again Kathy :-) I was going to try and help answer this one, but I realized I can't find where you put the paypal information lol, I have been out for a while and things changed, I thought it should be under account settings.. Thanks

I am a little confused. I was urged to post articles at Street Articles. I did 3 but it was difficult as I was often blocked or ran into a glitch. To be listed as an expert I
Thanks so much. I really had no idea what was even going on. I don't relate to the online systems that way, or didn't.
Hi Miriam. The training here which features Street Articles was made before last summer. Just after it was made Google set their PANDA update loose. This decimated article directories due to the extreme low quality of the articles that they had allowed to be posted. I am hoping that the moderators of these sites are culling out all the crap and thereby raising the quality of what is left. For now just forget them and post your best stuff on your own sites. Create other 'posts' or shorter articles that refer back to the main one and post these across the web on social media and as guest bloggers on related blogs and in forums related to your niche.
Thank you for your input but neither of you are addressing my real question. I went to post a 4th article and ran into either a glitch or obvious false information. A 400 word article should definitely NOT have 50 paragraphs which was the message the system actually gave me. It may just be a glitch but when I asked about that, Kyle just told me to post at my website.
Hi Miriam. As to your main point about a 50 paragraph article!! That has to be a glitch as even a 2,000 word article would only just about qualify to naturally have 50 divisions. 400 words -maybe 3-5 paragraphs max.
RJ, in truth I am happy to report that I figured out that using the Article List over here one can transpose back onto Street Articles. For unknown reasons it took me a few weeks to figure that out.
Street articles is a good source to learn how to wtite articles for your website it gives you very good pointers on what is good to post snd not to post on the web.
I think that advice may be outdated. If you're going to spend time writing, it's probably best to post to your own site.
