My Progress at Wealthy Affiliate
My Progress at Wealthy Affiliate
The last time I wrote a Progress report was on the 19th January, entitled:
My First Year as a Premium Member of Wealthy Affiliate.
It's been nearly 9 months since then so it's time to write another.
But first, let's discuss something important.
Our WA Blog Posts are Indexed by Google
As I'm sure most of you know, our blog posts are indexed by Google. If you didn't know this, you'll find out when you get to:
Online Certification Training Course 4, Lesson 7: The Power of Google Authorship
You'll also want check out Loes's recent blog post:
How to Create a Good Looking Blog at Wealthy Affiliate that Converts
and Loes's Training:
Blog Content Indexed by Google
Jaaxy - My New Favourite Toy
Now that I've gone PRO at Jaaxy it's really easy to check how my post is doing.
All I do is pop over to Jaaxy, click on Site Rank (top left) and...
Enter Keyword: my-1st-year-as-a-premium-member-of-wealthy-affiliate
and Domain: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/laurenjean/blog/
Aha! What do you know?
My Post is ranked ONE on Google and Yahoo for that Keyword
However... no-one's really searching for this term so I'm not going to get tons of traffic any traffic to this post.
So when I got to Online Certification Course 4, Lesson 7 and Kyle asked me to share my Progress at Wealthy Affiliate the FIRST thing I did was look up some Keywords on Jaaxy.
This time I've gone with My Progress at Wealthy Affiliate because at least it has some traffic (40 searches a month) and very little competition (11). In my books that qualifies as low hanging fruit.
Okay... on with my Progress...
Today I'm not going to bore you with all my website stats. I just want to touch on some Highlights.
Highlights this Year so far
My Shiniest Posts
The website posts I put the most work into and I'm most proud of are:
- Do Bloggers Earn Income Blogging (this post contains my first Blogger Income Report)
- Top 10 Mom Blogs
- My First Wealthy Affiliate Review (to introduce WA Members)
- My First Post on SEO Basics (to introduce Jaaxy or WA Members)
My First WA Tutorials
I finally plucked up the courage to start posting a couple of tutorials:
Income Surprises
It's been fun to earn $88 on Fiverr this year for accepting Guest Posts and Sponsored posts on my blog. I blogged about it on WA here..
- Just made Level 1 Seller on Fiverr
- Cheeky Fiverr Gig Update
- Just Made $5 on Fiverr Thanks to LynneHuy again
It was also fun to get My First Amazon Sale!
It was a huge surprise to find I earned a total of $280 in my first 18 months of blogging, though some of this income is from Side Hustles. But hey, I wouldn't have known about the side hustles if I wasn't blogging.
Using my Know-How to Help a Friend
In the last couple of days I built a very simple free Siterubix site for a friend of mine who owns a Montessori Playschool. She's thrilled with it. It felt really good to have the knowledge to set that up for her.
Friendships Forged
Thanks again to those of you who follow me.
I've made some wonderful friends here & your input & advice has been invaluable.
Goals for the Next 3 Months
As many of you know, my Major Goal right now is to bring in 100 Affiliate Sales by the end of the year.
In order to reach that goal I will complete all lessons and tasks in the Online Certification Training and WA Affiliate Bootcamp.
Thank You
A HUGE Thanks once again to Kyle & Carson for this spectacular opportunity to create something out of nothing.
To Your Success,

Very impressive....you've made theists of the opportunity. Congratulations and continued success. Debbie
Thanks, Debbie. I think I'd be a lot further if I had focused on the training sooner... but it is what it is and I'm happy. :)
Lauren this proves to everyone that are looking for a place to grow that Weathy Affiliate is the place. Awesome progress report!
What a great progress report. It's inspiring to me who's still limping along after some personal setbacks and a new school year that requires the bulk of my focus.
I, too, want to have the skills to help friends who need websites.
Sounds like you're really focused and determine which is all you need. :-)
Wendy
Thanks so much Wendy. You are too kind.
So sorry about your personal setbacks.
Happy settling back into the new school year.
It's tricky when you want to be HERE but you have to THERE, isn't yet?
xx
