What happens to the commission we receive while still a member and then we leave WA temporarily/permanently before the payout date, which is usually more than a month later?

If you are earning commissions, why would you leave WA? Even just 2 recurring commissions will pay for your membership! But ya, I'd ask Kyle about that. I don't know if they stack up while you're gone, or if you forfeit them while you're away.

I do know that if you return later, your referrals are still yours. They don't go to anyone else if you leave.

Thanks Nathan, will do that. Was thinking of temporarily leaving for some personal reasons.

Kyle and Carson know more about it, they are the owner !!!

Thanks

I would ask Kyle/Carson this rather than the community. They are in the best position to answer.

Thanks

How to use the WA keyword tool Properly, and how to use the article power & ppc power & what do they mean in terms of a goo

You can find some explanation about the keyword tool, including article power and ppc power here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/google-search-engine-and-wa-keyword-tools/article-power-and-ppc-powe

Thank you for this info, this is what i was looking for. Thanks

You use it the same as jaaxy. To find the qsr yo click find competition and it brings you off to google. I think ppc means the value if you are paying for keywords or the value it can bring if you have adsense, Article power I'm not totally sure about so I will not mislead you any.

Thank you for answering :)

Anyone had any luck with google adsense? I've had google ads on my website for a month now, but haven't earned a single penny yet! I'm having doubts about it & taking it off my sit

Don't give up yet. It will happen.

Thanks

Day 4 and I am up to $2.20 ... I almost lost it when I saw my first 19 cents.

That's good, good to know it's working for you & some other's. Thank you for sharing. Good luck

I use Adsense on one of my regional sites (a very localized site for our area seniors). It is growing and growing in revenue.
... went from approx. $30.00/mo to $40 to $60 to $82, and now for November it's about to reach $100.

Not to bad - I hope to tweak it to its fullest - keep in mind it's a site with a limited audience.
I would think that with 5000 visits a day you should be receiving something.

Wow. I didn't think that much was possible. I've always struggled with adsense. Good to know!

Yeah - I wish it was a national site.
I'm not to sure I'll use it on every site though - still thinking that one over.

That is just great! Thank you for sharing. I had made my mind up that it doesn't work at all! But I'm yet far away from that kind of traffic. Best wishes.

Hey Kim!

I thought you said in a comment below:
"think I'm getting good amount of traffic for a newbie site, just over 5,000 in the first month. But I guess google adsense is just not worth it."
.... so I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working for you. The site of mine I mentioned gets only approx. 3000 visitors/mo.
It takes a little time to "get going" too.

Joanne

Just keep going...don't give up. I think Kyle said he didn't get his first online sale after 3 months. It's different for everyone! Just keep on keeping on and it will happen!!!

Thank you, will try not to give up, it is hard not to when your travelling into the unknown but it always helps to get some encouragement from folks like you all.

I'm not using at the moment but will use it in the future. I have a friend who uses it successfully on her websites...she has over a 100 websites!

Wow 100 sites! That's great. I'm striggling to get the 2nd one up! Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome...yes it does take time...all the best!

Yes I have had success, I'm getting a trickle of money each day from it (most days) the more content I create the figures slightly grow. I would recommend it

That's great. Thank you for sharing. Maybe I have not linked it properly or tracking it properly.. I'll wait & see what happens.

You will need to build traffic to get clicks

I just added some, so I am observing it right now to see how it does. :))

Good luck Kim.

I don't use it. I'd rather focus on content and making sales from that.

You need more traffic to get clicks and impressions for Google Adsense.

I think I'm getting good amount of traffic for a newbie site, just over 5,000 in the first month. But I guess google adsense is just not worth it. Thanks

I looked at your site, I would move your sidebar to the right. I would get a smaller adsense and see how that works. Sometimes you just gotta play and experiment. Wish you the best!

I had the sidebar on right and google ads near the header, just changed it last week. But will change around again & see. Thanks.

I don't use it but I know some people have been earning with adsense albeit small amounts. There are quite a few articles on how people make money with it, type adsense into the search box and you'll see them. :)

Okay i'll check them out, thanks Kathy.

I'm still at early stage in my training, so maybe i haven't yet covered that lesson, but i have seen few video lessons here & there. On one lesson Kyle showed us to enter keywords

You fill in the SEO information just ONCE, in the main SEO settings for your site. After that, you do not have to worry about SEO settings for each page. Some people use that box, but for basic training you do not have to use it and should be focusing on other things like writing content. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/getting-your-website-seo-ready

I posted a link below on how to use keywords.

Thank you Nathaniell, that's really helpful and hopefully answers all my questions.

Yes what Jenn said below, and I think Kyle said not to over do it with keywords. Just add a few for each post or page etc.

Hi Kay,
If you're using the All In One SEO plugin, you'll have those boxes in each page and post. Fill them in. Each page. Each post. According to your content on that page/post. If you talk about 'how to love a cat' in one post, have all your keywords in that particular post.
Hope this helps. :)

Great answer. Very concise.

Hi Jenn, thank you. And how about Yoast, is it done the same way?

The training in WA recommends you DO NOT fill in the keywords on a page/post basis https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/where-do-i-put-keywords

Hi Kay,
I don't use Yoast.
Anyway, Nathaniell has a better solution for 'beginners'.

Thank you for replying Jenn.

Jenn is right - if you know what you're doing, it's OK to use those settings. One or the other will not 'break' your site.
