you will not lose any content. it will still be there.
keep in mind though, themes have different layouts...so the placement of your content may look a little different from your old theme.
Great...thanks so much! Exactly what I needed to know. I realized that all the themes had different layouts when I was choosing them. I was a little confused for a moment but didn't take me long to figure out. Thanks again!

I own my own domains...if I build a site with WA is hosting part of the package or do I have to get hosting elsewhere?

namecheap.com is a good place to buy domains. They are about $10 for the year and their domain setup and management is quite good in comparison to many domain companies out there.
Try to choose a domain in the order below:
.com
.org
.net
