You should be able no problem. With wordpress you just need to create a user ID for them so when they go to (website.com/WP) they will be able to sign in through the sign in portal.
I'm sure you will likely, or have already, talked to the company you are associated with. Do they agree?
apparently so, however if there were any commercial conflicts with WA, I am sure that there would be something said- which is fair enough...
Hi Jeannette, I would say yes, as I have a site that I did not create with WA and I have it listed on my profile.

I've had my site up for almost a month. I've submitted the sitemap and gone into my webmaster tools and specifically submitted several pages for indexing. So my dilemma is this:
I have this same issue. I tried to figure out why GWT only showed results for 3/6 & 3/7. I did another Google index crawl 3/14, so now I have stats for those three days only. I'll take Welshy's advice & take out the www & try again. Sounds like we have the same problem Jeannette. I'll let you know what happens.
~Amanda
I added my site without the www and now it says I have 21 indexed, instead of 0. I tried to test a sitemap and it gave me an error message saying I'm using html and to come back when I'm not, or something to that effect.
If you added your site to Webmaster Tools using www then this is probably the reason, add your domain without the www verify and submit new sitemap.
I submitted my xml file.. just added some new content a few days ago, and resubmitted the xml file again.
Hi Mars monster, did you solve the YouTube mess. I watched your video there. And check my post below pls, maybe you know the answer to Jeannette's problem, I hope.

John
If you enter stie:your url, into search engine it will show you how many of your pages are indexed
Describe to me "how and what you submitted manually"
Check Crawl>Fetch as Google what URLs are showing, and let me know
John
crawl> fetch as google I've submitted 12 urls. But when I log into webmaster tools, click on Google Index> Index Status, it says indexed 0.
Your site is indexed according to the google search I just did. However, entering site:
http://www.homeboundmommy.com
did not show any results. I took out the www and that's the first page of the search.

did you set a preferred url? www or non www? make sure everything you do is using your preferred name
I should have worded that differently. In Toolmaster fix your URL to http://
without the www and you sill be ok.
John
I tried without the www in front. It says almost all links are indexed when I look at the crawl> fetch as google, but when I look at the google> index status it says zero. My sitemap is recognized as well.

I bought 4 domain names when I started here (very ambitious, right?). I just took a look at them today and realized that one of them would be much more appropriate for my site t
Just yesterday Terrill changed his domain name https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/terrill Maybe you should ask him if it's worth it or not.
I'm just about to sign off here, but I wanted to mention that you aside from switching one site to another domain, that I believe you can actually do at WA with just a few clicks.
You need to make sure the domains are verified with webmaster tools, (this is only important if the site is indexed)
This will allow you to tell Google after the move that site A on domainA.com has been permanently moved to domainB.com.
You also need to make sure you 301 redirect the old domain to the new domain.
You can do this very easily by adding few line of code to the .htaccess file of the old domain. (this may get done automatically with WA when you switch domains, not sure)
As for Pretty Link links, I'm not sure if they will work after switching domains.
I would recommend submitting a ticket to support and asking them about Pretty Links and the 301 redirect first.
Not sure about hosting here at WA but other hosts allow you to easily click on a setting that takes care of the redirect. You don't have to touch the htaccess file.
Yes you are correct, most hosts with cpanel etc allow you to easily setup domain 301 redirects etc, but you're limited with WA hosting and you can't do this.
Your content is connected to the domain where you have created it. You will have to move it or do some sort of re-direction. Moving Wordpress isn't that difficult. There's an export/import setting to move posts, etc. There is also a plugin that does all of the changing where the links are concerned. That way, your site still works like it is supposed to.
It's been awhile since I moved one, I'll have to find my cheat sheet. Maybe someone who has done it recently will chime in.

I did everything right. The little picture of me is there, and then we come to the email verification. I've been trying for over a week, and both links provided are still broken
It took at least a week for my e-mail verification to work. Don't worry, just because it didn't work this time doesn't mean it won't next time. Crazy Google...
I like to have one standard pic I use on all my social sites, that way google knows it's the same me everywhere, they are certainly doing image recognition and will use this to match people up to content as well
Gordi and Wayne; your convo reminds me of Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory- to this day I still mention fluoride in toothpaste when people get talking. BTW.. I don't think I want to know what google knows about me. Ignorance in this instance, is bliss!
Hello It will take a little bit of time but did you guys try to see if it shows using that webmaster testing tool . If it show there it should show up in time.
thanks! It does show on the webmaster tool, I was just concerned where it had a little box to verify email and the email verification has never worked
I just did a webinar on this did you watch it? http://bit.ly/1jYbeAR
Are you using this picture you use here? This is probably not a good enough. You need a nice headshot with more light this is to dark. Go outside where it's light and take a good headshot with your phone or hire someone like me to take professional pics. Also upload and tag yourself in your profile.
Well, girl, I'm right there in the mix with you...I wasted lots of hours yesterday trying to get this to work....so far, no go. Perhaps I'll open a discussion and see what the hangup is....
Looks like you've been busy....keep at it and it will come....so they tell me...lol

I've similar experience not getting my email address verified successfully during the Google Authorship set up... I think I managed to get that done after clearing my browser cache and try it under an incognito window. If you are new to incognito window, this link may be of help: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/incognito-window-see-your-real-rankings-on-google/how-to-open-an-incognito-window
You do not need to use the email method, I just checked your site listed on your profile page and that is setup correctly: http://take.ms/28pMW
However this doesn't mean it will appear in Google, you'll have to wait and see, they've recently cut down on the amount of authorship being displayed.
I also heard that you need to be an active person on G+ too, but not sure how true that is.
Well thank you! I don't have many contacts in G+, nor have I been very active. I've kinda got this thing going on at WA that I've been focusing on ;)
Anyway.. good to know. Thanks so much!

I use Rakuten, good company with a lot of affiliates to chose from, I also use ShareaSale and 5 others. You can work with as many affiliate programs as you like, and pic the company you think fits your niche best from each of them.
Yes, I was interested in a 'affiliate' wrote them and they have just got back with me.
- ??? I don't know ??? what to think as yet, I am eye balling them.....
Linkshare represent big companies like Macy's and Clinique, if my memory's correct. Haven't tried it, though, as I'd rather go direct.
I am with Linkshare. Their commission is higher than Amazon. Plus, they have companies that offer to sign you up. Tha's one of the companies suggested by Kyle in on of the lessons to sign up with.
Hey Jeanette,
It's one of the bigger networks, much like Commission Junction. It's in many cases easier to get approved for the various vendors. And they have Walmart as one of the vendors and Walmart usually approves people pretty steadily.
People often find using Walmart as a good alternative to Amazon as they are not usually as restrictive. Of course, they don't have quite as many selling opportunities that Amazon has.
Linkshare also has some other good affiliate vendors across many categories.
Best Regards,
Jim
