I have just uploaded another training video, but something I completely forgot about, again, was to add subtitles/captions to it.
I'm going to make su
White on dark gray (almost black) OR white on blue as long as it is not electric blue and stark white. Of course, I have been doing computer work since the days of green lettering on a black screen.
I have found books with light green paper and black lettering works well.
The white text that you have on the blue background in the first video looks good. So, if you are going with this theme, I think the white text is the way to go. White text against a dark solid background works for me.
Black text is the obvious choice for white background, but I assume you will not have many white backgrounds.

Hello Christopher, the black with white looks good to me. Perhaps a bit larger text for older folk like myself. Another thing I noticed was that the video was a little dark it was like it need to be brighter like the light was on dull.

My friend is legally blind, but can still see enough to read his smart phone. However, he has to invert the screen, so it shows white letters on black background. I think the greater the contrast the easier it is to read!

Hi Chrystopher. I have a Huawei phone, and I use the excellent camera to record my videos. At the moment, I use a phone stand to place on my laptop in order to do the recording.
Like you, I plan to upgrade my video recording equipment, and I am looking at a ring light with phone mount, like this one - https://www.amazon.com/10-Extendable-UBeesize-Ringlight-Compatible/dp/B07QFV72LK
I most probably won't buy that particular one from Amazon. Cos there are so many shops here in Singapore where I can buy one of these ring light with phone mount easily. Just using the Amazon link to show you what I mean, and what I plan to get.
I know it is your birthday gift, and it will be great to buy something nice like a new webcam or camera. But, if you are like me, and would like to save costs (I always look to do that for my businesses), then maybe you can consider this?

I'm far from an expert on this stuff, like really far lol, but I bought a Canon EOS M50 which is a mirrorless camera and, once you get at least the basic settings configured properly, gives good results.
I really like it personally. And I use the 1080p settings on the videos I produce for WA and have it set to 25 fps because that's what Carson recommended when I was chatting with him about it. I think he said that's what Kyle uses for his videos too, although he uses a different camera to me.
What I like:
- It's affordable
- It works great for what I need
- Produces WAY better footage than my iPhone 8
- It connects to my laptop via WiFi so I can easily download the videos/images I've created
What I don't like:
- The battery life isn't great (probably worth getting a second battery
- It only records for about 30 minutes then stops (which really sucks) because if you're shooting a longer video you need to hit record again
Also, I use Screenflow which is good but from what I hear Final Cut Pro is way better so at some point I may switch to that.

Today in the modern day is nanotechnology, Our phones taking the place of everything, Apple, Samsung, and Sony have very good cameras on the phone and making 4k resolution video ar the same time. The good thing is you can edit same time, But If you are an old class you can make it with Canon DSLR cameras.
Very true, I have the iPhone X which can record at 4k, but unfortunately, you can not use it as webcam connected to your computer.

When I first joined WA and became a Premium Member, I started a mini blog series that got put on the back burner, but I am now ready to reignite this and get it going again.

Chrys I Market in every possible way I can, I do phone which is a call loop service with recorded messages, I also do a type of marketing I created myself by taking a walk in the business area (small business) once every week introducing and offering different services, targeting one customer and one prospect per week, or you can get only one of those. you call it a walk campaign, lol. I also do direct mailing, If I purchased leads I don't add them to my autoresponder mailing campaign, I message them direct from my google account then getting them to join my autoresponder! I just try to market in every possible way without over doing. You're just given me another idea and that is the Leaflet drop that can be share out like once every 2 weeks and the news papers can be done cheaply once a week. So thanks for the Idea as well. Offline Marketing works.

You can get those signs that stick in the ground that you see everywhere for pretty cheap. Less than $5 ,per sign. If you are promoting a service, an opportunity or a product with mass appeal it could be worth it.
You need a short catchy domain name that's easy to remember. People will be driving past your signs and most won't have time to write it down.
A friend of mine who teaches guitar, piano and other instruments has been using signs as his only advertising for 35 years. They just say Guitar Lessons. And have his phone number on them.
He hasn't had a real job since he quit his first after college job in the corporate world
It would also work well if I'm driving around in a nice car (I have a Black Sexy Audi TT at present).
My goal for the end 2021 is to buy a Bentley Continental GT V8 Convertible. I kid you not. Watch this space. Why do you think I am in so many programs? The more programs I am in the more chance I have of reaching this goal. If I do not reach this goal next year, I will simply defer it to 2022. I will defer it every year until I get my Bentley.
So anyone who sees me driving a Bentley and I give them my card I bet you they will rush and ook at all my Websites mucho pronto.

haha very true Aubrey and I like your goals and way of thinking, just don't overstretch yourself and water down your efforts. You might find that putting all of your time and effort into just 1-2 of these areas, compared to 6, might see a threefold decrease in time to profit :-)
ChristopherJ. I am a unique individual. I only sleep 1 hour a night, I kid you not. This is interspersed with about 3 naps during the day of about 3/4 hr each (some of this I just lie in bed listening to music - Barry White, Bob Marley, The Bee Gees etc etc ), i.e. 3 1/4 hrs sleeping or resting. Therefore I have 20 3/4 hrs left to do what I please. And what do you think I do? 6 to 7 money making internet Marketing Programs of course.
Yes but you will suffer from sleep deprivation I hear you say. None of that crap, I say. Some people are just like this (Margaret Thatcher famously needed just 4 hours a night). I have always been like that. Up to 12 years ago when I ran a Cleaning agency I slept 4 hours a night and jumped sprightly out of bed every morning completely refreshed ready for the day. Since I started working again the beginning of this year (read what happened between October 2010 - Octobrer 2019) I cannot sleep more than 1 hour a night (It only happens occasionally perhaps once a month that i sleep about 3 hours perhaps to repair my mind and body). Not me for tossing and turning. There is another Affiliate Marketing System to do. Am I afraid for my health? No I am just like that and consider it a blessing from above that I can tackle 6, 7, 8 things to do all at once and am continuing to look for more programs to take on.
So there you are ChristohherJ. Not 1-2 piddly areas to do when i can do 6,7 or 8

Apart from the WA Site and my two Niche Sites from this, I am in three other internet Programs. Invincible Marketer (Affiliate Marketing), Arbonne (Network Marketing) and am an Amazon (FBA)Seller (Ecommerce Marketing). I may print business cards with all six information for each business and when they ask me what I do I would say "I am in Affiliate Marketing" and give them my card with all six websites/info and ask them to ring (or email if any questions (especially as three of them are Affiliate Companies).
