You can use survey monkey to survey your email list. There is a free service as well.

I have someones name and I know they are here on WA. How do I find them? Do I have to know their username?
Yes, you need to know their username to find them here. How to Find Stuff at WA: The Question Box
It also depends on what their username is e.g. sometimes people use their real name, so it's worth doing a search for it in the top "Search" bar. Best.
This might give you a few ideas. If not, just try Brady's advice! How can I find a new member by just his name? Cheers.

Why is everyone so interested in their WA ranking and so upset if it's off by 50? I mean I think it's great when it comes to community and I'm as interested as the next but am
It just happened to me I ended up on the 3rd place, it has to do with the activity and time you spent in the community. I have a lot of time to spent:) It is not important at all, and it certainly doesn't give you any profit. They only thing you miss is quite a few requests for help in your PM box.
I just see ranking as me contributing to the community and also a measure of how well I am understanding those things I have learned
For me personally - ranking is a progress report - not only on developing my website but also giving feedback with constructive suggestions to members who have just started with WA.
I do not think it is a case of you missing anything at all.
People (me included) feel good when they reach milestones.. for example a certain amount of followers or a certain rank. They also feel good to share it and get some inspiration back from other users.
It is a way of being involved and getting some positivity from other members. Some people need that push or lift sometimes.
I agree with you though, that you will receive help from the community the same - regardless of your rank, and some people push the rank thing and forget about the importance of their website.
While it is good to have a good rank and reach to the other members, this is not going to advance the work on your site. So it is catch 22.
Each to their own if they want to share their progress.. me personally I do it too.. and like the good feeling from the responses and it gives me some drive sometimes.. others don't do it.. which is fine too!

Has anyone heard of campaign monitor? I have a couple of "marketers" pushing it. How does it compare to aweber/mail chimp/ constant contact/ get response
I am using Mad Mimi. I started with Mail Chimp but changed because they seem so averse to affiliate marketing. Don't know anything about campaign monitor.
I use AWeber but I have been looking at Mad Mimi. It is another possibility for your list.
Tom
I've tried nearly all of them, but prefer GetResponse.
Feel free to review my training here: Definitive Guide to Email Marketing Setup
They are all pretty much the same with aweber, infusionsoft, getresponse leading the pack.
In all honesty you could get by with just using the free mailchimp until your list started generating money.
Which email collection program should I use?
