Well, first off, the myth is that niches are saturated, they are not. And there are millions of keywords yet to be discovered and used. So you'll be fine.

You mentioned you have limited interests, what are they?

I play chess and have dogs and watch TV :)

You can build a niche site around chess or dogs. I don't know much about chess, but I do know dogs is a great market.

124 billion dollars was spent in the pet industry in the US last year, with an average of $1,480 spent per year for a person's dog.

Is there anywhere I can look to see what other blogs members created? Just interested and nosy :-)

Do you mean their websites? Look in the profile of any member you're following and you'll see links to any websites they've chosen to share (up to 7).

You can look up their usernames if you know magnifying glass top menu.

Or keywords to browser blog posts or other resources.

Hi - if members wish to share their websites, they will be listed on their profile page.

But you do have to be in their network to see them.

Looks really good my friend, it looks professional. I am sure you will have success.! Congratulation.!

It will be interesting to see how your site rank grows what with linking to exiting sites for the majority of your content. You will find out what search engines do with that.

Original content should increase your site traffic.

As you learn about WA, we are curious how you will add WA hosting.

You have a starting point to work from.

Hi - a website is never finished! You will need to continually add new content to show Google that you are an authority on your niche. Lots of in-depth information, everything original, nothing copied and pasted.

Google is not interested in posts that contain any material already published elsewhere, and will not rank them high enough to be found by anybody.

I can't see that you have a Privacy Policy or an Affiliate Disclosure, both of which are legal requirements. There are templates in Site Content you can adapt.

It looks great, looks very professional. My only worry is that you can write not so much about hosting (micro niche).

My first affiliate site completed, what do you think?

Hi all. I have a website that I have picked up off of someone else and it's been around for a number of years, so probably has benefit in terms of track record and back links a

There are 2 things you need to do. 1) point the domain name to WA's servers, which are ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com. Save the change. 2) transfer the site to WA. There are 2 ways of doing this. You can ask Site Support to do it for you. Or you can install the backup plugin All-in-One WP Migration on the existing site and create a backup file. Then use the domain name to create a new, empty WP site at WA, install the backup plugin and restore the site from the previously created backup file.

Yes, you can transfer the site to WA.
It is best to contact Site Support when doing so because each prior hosting service is different.

Make sure you do a backup of the site before transferring it to WA.

We have seen many instances where old websites have been "revived" and they key has been consistent revision and adding new relevant posts.

Yes.

If your site has content you need get in touch with site support for further instructions.

They will typically ask you for FTP info and your domain name, they'll set up a siterubix subdomain and upload files then you can check everything is okay before you point your domain to WA servers.

Hi all.I'm struggling to find a niche, how did you get started on identifying something? For personal reasons I have very little hobbies or interests so I can't even draw upon

You have a bunch of great answers. Pick something that you know and that you really enjoy looking into. But also, make sure it is translatable to a website. I have a fishing lure website.... I know about fishing.... I love fishing, but the site doesn't do really well because people who fish, even me, like to spin a reel, bend a rod, hold a lure, etc. I get lots of visits to my site but not a ton of purchases. I did not think realistically about how people who fish buy things. Hope this helps/

What work do you currently do? Is it something that you can cooperate into a niche for this platform ?
What do you enjoy purchasing ? Clothes, skin care, car parts etc.
If you watch any particular programmes on tv, can you pick out something that resonates with you ?
Wish you luck in finding one.

Louise

Is there something you use a lot that has solved a problem or helped you in a great way? Do you have learned skills from home or work that your knowledge could help others? What is it from life that brings satisfaction? What about things you have learned and use to care for your facial hair. Are there things you talk a lot about and have done research to learn more about?

How To Find Your Passion
If you have no niche ideas here are some things to think about

What was the last thing you bought online?
Was it something that could be popular and that you could promote?
Why did you buy it?

is there anything you want to do and can invest time learning about...
what if money was no object what would you do or where would you go and why...
what about the last purchases you made...would others buy the same thing...
use the search at the top to find other members lists of what could be a niche and go through them and see if anything ticks a box....
you don't need ot be an expert, you just need to learn enough to be one step ahead....
good luck
phil
