I pay my WA premium membership through PayPal. I see I am now being charged a foreign fee and the WA payment bank is different from my last two payments. Does anyone know anyth

I had my payment processed yesterday and as usual I was charged $49...

I don't know if they've changed banks, but the foreign transaction fee has always applied if you are in a different country than Canada, because WA is in Canada. The fee is not from WA, but rather from your credit card company for processing a foreign transaction.

You can avoid the fee by using a credit card that does not charge a foreign transaction fee.

I know this, but the last two payments processed through WA were from a bank in California US. Now it is saying BC which I am assuming British Columbia Canada.

Hi Cindy,

Perhaps contact Kyle or Carson. I live in Canada but I haven't checked my payments.

Monica

Contacting Kyle or Carson is like trying to contact men on Mars. I can never get a response from them, that is why I have asked the question here.

Good evening, I wasn't aware of this, thank you, may you have a very successful week.

I am in the USA, and every month - in addition to my Monthly Fee, They tack on a :
MasterCard “Cross Border” Fee - $0.26. .. and a
MasterCard “Currency Conversion” Fee - $0.06.

I figure it is just a cost-of-doing-business expense, and at some point it will all become deductible on my taxes ??

Yes, I agree with you. But was curious as to why they changed banks or are no longer holding a US bank account to collect payments from US peeps.

It looks like WA has changed from a US bank to a BC (British Columbia) bank. That is why I seemed to be getting charged that.

But I want to know if and when WA changed from a US to a BC bank.

My first two payments were not charged a fee, because it was a US Bank based in CA.

I’ll be watching this .....

Thnx

Joe

You can also send a support ticket to WA support team.

I do not know where to send a support ticket for a payment issue. Support tickets only seem to be for websites.

I only found where I can only ask a question to the community. Can you tell me where to send a support ticket for payment issues? I am not able to find it.

Thanks,
Cindy

Hi,
I would be contacting PayPal to ask those questions, in case your account has been hacked ?
As any changes to processing fees have to be notified to the client, and agreed prior to them taking place..
hope its a simple fix for you.

Well, I was never informed. I was hoping to find info here about bank change on WA's end, but can't seem to find the memo. :(

I haven't been charged a fee as yet, but will watch my payments to see if this happens going forward
let see what response the boys come back with.

If I approve non relevant comments, will it be bad for Google Ranking?

Featured Comment

Yes, it could be. If the comment is in no way relevant, it is likely an automated "bot" comment and should just be deleted. You will get comments like this and if they don't pertain to your actual article, then delete them.

They are almost certainly duplicate content if that is the case which also is not good.

If the comment doesn't relate to the article, reject it.

Thank you for your quick reply.

What do you mean by duplicate content and not being good? Just curious...
Michelle

Thank you for this question and its great that Kyle has given the appropriate response.

Thanks to you, Kyle.

Segun

Definitely reject anything that is not related to your post. You do not want others reading them and thinking incorrect thoughts.

It depends. Is it a bot comment completely spammy? Then delete it. If someone just left a boring old 'great post ' comment, it doesn't hurt you at all, if it's not spammy. Lots of organic comments are going to be uninspired. It will only help you to have proof of engagement and maybe encourage someone to read the post because it has 20 comments now.

As long as its not spam or a bot, I approve it. I only edit for spelling, not rewrite comments. Even dumb 'great post's comments can be helpful to you by building trust with your audience that your comments are real and show engagement.

No it was not spam, but it wasn't relevant.
It was "just keep up the good work".

I was going on what Kyle had wrote.

It was a friend, but I already deleted it. :(

A 'good work' post is relevant to the post, it just doesn't add much value except its presence is there, Google does like to see the number of comments and so do your visitors. Plus it's more natural to have those types of posts. It won't hurt you to approve those types at all. I think Kyle was talking about the bot and spam comments, which say nothing relevant. Yours was just boring and not hugely valuable.

Next time, your friends or something comment like that, you can approve them. They don't harm you and don't add much. But all comments are valuable except spammy and bots. ^_^

Is there an email to contact Kyle or Carson?
Cannot get through under the Private Message.

that is odd you cannot get through via private message....sometimes it takes him a couple of days to get back to you.

You can privately message him, but you have to navigate the dropdown menus. It's to cut down on a lot of the already answered questions on WA so he doesn't have a ton of questions about things that are available elsewhere.

Choose the reporting content or something option. That gives you the right to message him privately I believe.

Yes, I did finally manage to figure that out, but still did not trust that the message would be private.

Since I had tried to send a message before and it landed on his news feed.

So I just gave up for now, and hope my issue works itself out.

Thanks for your time.

Cindy

I've messaged him privately before so it works fine. Just be sure it says messaging Kyle privately when you're filling out the message and doesn't say ask community :)

Thanks I did try again, I sent a test mail, see if I get a response.

I believe that Kyle is often on Live Chat. I don't have personal experience with that, I'm going on what other members have said.

I don't know if Carson participates in Live Chat but I understand that Jay does.

Live Chat is definitely worth a try.

Good question, in the help menu if you click on their pic/name I would think that would get them a msg
They are on Instagram and maybe other social media sites.
Peace💗

Glad to see you got this worked out. Sorry i was late to the party... best of luck to you!!!!

Never got it worked out, message went straight to his public feed.
Not found a way to get a private message to Kyle yet.

I was just thinking. when you signed up for premium did he send you a private message. if you click on your little mail button on the top of the screen you can click on a message he sent you during signup and you can reply to that. it should go straight to him.

I never received a private message, did you?

yeah i got a congratulations on going premium message from him when i signed up via pm. i just figured it was an automated message he had sent out to everyone that signed up. I've never actual tried to contact him though it though. I shall try and see what happens

Click help center, click on either Kyle's or Carson's picture and then send them your message

Thanks for your reply.
I tried that and I just keep getting
drop down menus.

It never seems to let me just send a
message like I can send to other
members.

Maybe I am missing something?

Cindy

Ok somehow I did figure out
how to do it your way.

Thanks a bunch!!

You're welcome

Wonderful, go for it.

What I'm surprised about is the QSR being so low. Usually any search I've come acroos with those numbers the QSR is in the high 200's. That is phenomenal I'd jump on it.

I would be using this Cindy.

Derek

Cindy that is a great keyword.

Your ideal would be

QSR under 100
Traffic over 100
SEO in the 80's into the 90's

What's the traffic for your keyword?

264374

Are you sure coz you are saying that's the AVG for it as well.

AVG stands for Searches per month.
See attached pic example

AVG is what Kyle was calling traffic in the video. Average traffic to the keywords.

No, AVG are the average searches each month with that keyword and variations of that keyword but the traffic is the number of people searching with that particular keyword.

Your traffic for your particular keyword is still great so go with it.

In the video Kyle seem to stress the AVG number, so that is what I was basing it on.

Cindy was copying the first keyword stats in her image, I think. The traffic is 44944.

The wording is tricky, Cindy, because people will say "average traffic" and both of those terms are metrics. When reading the metrics:

Avg is the number of people searching your keyword.

Traffic is the number of people who click on a site in the serps that the keyword returns.

Both are important, and you want to try to stay within the suggested metrics that Robert typed above.

Also, do the test that Paul suggested below with Google, because that's a LOT of traffic for such a low number of sites supposedly using the keyword, which would be good for you if accurate but it seems a little unbalanced to me. I'd do some verifying.

I would do a seperate search on google using that keyword and see how many results show up. If the number is close to what Jaxxy is than I would go for it.

Looks good to me - Even if it was just in your text somewhere i would have it in there...

I would do a search for those keywords in google with inverted commas and see if there really is only that many.. Jaaxy is usually pretty acrruate buy doesn't hurt to check...

"ONLY that many", it is reading over 260 thousand for traffic with a QSR at 72. I thought that was a lot of traffic.

Oops sorry.. I meant only 72 sites with the exact keywords.. do the search and see how many competing sites there are..

I am not sure how to do that?

Say your keywords are 4k televisions then do a search In Google as follows:

"4k televisions"

As you click through the page numbers at the bottom of the screen you will.see how many sites there are with those keywords

If jaaxy is right.. there should only he 70 odd.. if that is right then your keywords are awesome
