I don't know the rules here at WA too well, but I do know that I'm not allowed to spam the website with promotional blogs, links...etc.

This may be spam--I don't know--if

There is nothing any of us can do as far as getting you a referral. That is something you will have to do on your own through social media sharing.

But you do not need to know anyone or have to recruit any friends or family to get referrals. Of the many referrals I have only one is a friend. All others are from people I do not know.

Of all of those people about 15% came from direct referrals I made by sharing my affiliate links on Twitter and Facebook, with the latter using "Work From Home" Groups.

I spent one day and made a free Site Rubix website consisting of a static home page and one blog, both promoting WA along with a few affiliate links each.

I didn't bother registering it with Google because I am not using that website for rankings nor do I care if I get ranked or not. I am only using those website links to share on social media.

So far I have received several referrals from this mini website since launching it on April 26th, 2016. I have since then added 2 more blogs but do not intend to add any more.

My main focus is my WA promotional website that is getting well ranked by Google and that I am building in the correct and methodical way.

So in addition to my WA promotional website which is where I get the bulk of my referrals from, I now get a little more from this mini Site Rubix website that I spent a day building in April.

I suggest you do something similar if you want or just continue with your main website, which is what you will have to do regardless.

While this is a noble idea, almost everyone here at WA is promoting their own affiliate links in hopes of getting a referral or two. I guess what I'm trying to say is, "you're preaching to the choir." I wish you all the best in your hunt, however.

I'm going to ask for something pretty crazy.?

Basically, I have no time now for anything because of university...but I am still planning to make affiliate referrals. Made one sale already... I'm thinking about quitting pre

Since you cannot go back to the free version, I would consider "biting the bullet" and rounding up the money needed, or use a credit card if you can, for a yearly subscription.
That would get the "monthly monkey" off your back and preserve your full access. It would be cheaper than monthly in the long run.

Once you leave WA membership, you cannot access the free version. You'll need to reinstate your premium status.

Hi Timothy...please stay if you can...
If I was in your shoes I would concentrate on the BootCamp course...you will learn fast how to get referrals for WA programme and it converts really well...you only need a couple of quick referrals and it will start to pay for itself in no time...try and hang in there if you can...there is so much to gain!
Best wishes
Steve

It obviously isn't the right timing for you Timothy, so maybe you should focus on what matters most to you at the moment and come back when you are ready.

Hi Timothy,

Is it a question of the time that you determine you need to devote to affiliate marketing or more so needing to recoup the money spent for the WA membership?

If the problem is time and not the money you could do an evaluation of how you spend your time...See where you could take a little from here or there to fit in both...

If the problem is the monthly outlay, then I would say look at how you could set up some passive income streams to cover that expense...

This might be through setting up an e-Commerce store, or three or more even using the free sites you get as a premium member...

Within a short period of time, these can be making enough to cover the expense of WA...For the most part, these stores are low maintenance once you set them up...

If you find that it just will not fit doing both I would stick with the bricks and mortar and come back to affiliate or other online marketing ventures at a later date...

I would also definitely try to work out a way to do both, however...

Remember that the schooling will help you get a job while continuing down the affiliate marketing path will give you a business so you can give up that job...

I am saying this as a person who went to higher education schools post HS for a 2 year AA, 4 year BA, 2 Masters (MEd), and an ABD (all but dissertation) in Doctoral work (Mgmt) over quite a few years...

If I had spent some of that time building an online business I would be much further ahead with my online marketing now...OK, fair enough, the internet was barely around when I was doing some of that schooling hehe...

I know all that education helped me in many ways over the years...Using it I did start several businesses and had success doing so...Online represents one of the best ways ever to do the same...

Whatever your decision, best of luck to you!

Cheers!
Dave : )

Thanks Tony,

That seems to confuse a lot of people...if you are a premium member, you cannot go back to starter level, you can only come back as a premium member again. So, Timothy, you will have to decide...best of luck!

That's the beauty of WA, even the free "Starter" level is very useful.
Congrats on the first sale! Keep at it. Before long you'll be back in at Premium.
Best of luck!

Oren,

Once a person goes Premium at WA they can no longer return to being a Starter member. A person can always come back as a Premium member but will not have access to WA ever again except as a premium member.

I am only sharing this so that Friends are aware and not surprised.

Thank you Oren,

Tony

Hi Tony,

What if the premium member started a new account? That is one way around this bottleneck you mention perhaps?

Technically you could have multiple accounts here I suppose, or switching that around, two people could share an account here?

Of course, if Timothy went the new account route he would have to start over again with his websites, etc. but that is easily addressed by backing up what he has and restoring once the new account is in place...

Also, on top of that he would have to use a different email address, a new PayPal account maybe, and who knows what else...I do think this has been likely done once or twice already?

Cheers,

Dave

Yes that may be some options Dave, Kyle would be best able to answer if the above is doable or not.

Thanks Tony! I stand corrected..

After becoming a premium member you can not go back to starter. You can return as a premium member anytime pretty sure even a few years down the road and be exactly where you left off.

I know how it is to live month by month or week to week. Is the struggle worth the investment is a question you can only answer after analysing what you are able to get out of being a premium member. The investment is in you but only if you are working at it.

Peace and success
Sayra

Timothy, I understand your dilemma completely. It is going to have to be your call. Only you can decide what is best for you. Organize your priorities and go with what best serves them. You can always rejoin when you feel comfortable doing so. The good news is, you will still have access to the best place you can be for learning and support as far as building a business. Let me know what you decide please. If i can be of any help, please let me know.

Daniece :)

Daniece,

It is untrue in saying that Timothy will still have access to WA my Friend.

Once a person becomes a Premium member here at WA there is no going back to being a Starter member. The person would not have access to WA until returning as a Premium member which they can do at anytime.

Tony

I did not know that. I stand corrected with a huge foot in my ...fingers? I assumed (and we now know what that leads to) that you merely lost the premium aspects. Thank you for the information.
Daniece

You are welcome Daniece,

It is my pleasure to help Friends :)

Tony

Timothy,

Once you are a Premium member there's no going back to being a Starter member so what you are saying above is incorrect my Friend.

Tony

How is it everyone knows this but me? That's not true now, however. :)

When adding a new user, I need a new email, but I didn't buy a domain yet. I know I can't make free email accounts with siterubix.com, but I want to keep moving with the traini

Yes, you can use your personal email and it doesn’t have to be a domain email. You can’t use the same email for both admin and the new user.

What you can do is change the admin email into something else like a fake one (provided that the new user is what you’re going to use from now onwards) and use the admin email for the new user. You can even delete the admin user after you created the new user if you want to.

Thanx for that explanation, maybe I was missing the point of the question

HAHA!!! SUCCESS! Thank you Juneyo and Steve! You guys are the best.

You're welcome =)

Well done, hope I helped a bit

I'll follow the person with the best answer:)

Yes there is no problem in doing this. Glad to see you are doing the training. good luck with everything, if you have any more questions simply ask

Sorry, I'm not really good with tech. How do you do this exactly? Via siterubix manager? I've tried, but the system requires a domain it seems...

Or I get this: ERROR: This email is already registered, please choose another one.
I'm pretty sure I didn't associate this email with my website, so what's going on...?

Yes go via Siterubix and choose Site Builder, build new, choose free, create your siterubix domain name and theme and then build your new site.

Slow down, try one thing at a time, but I might add if you get the error message saying that it is already registered then it will have been used by you at sometime.

But go back to creating a siterubix domain name and website

Thank you for your comments! But I don't want another website, I just want another user...what if I create another gmail email account and use that?

Another user where?

I'm sorry for bombarding you with my replies...:) but what if I delete my default admin account (it turns out my personal email IS used by the admin user:) Please feel free to take your time replying.

Another user within the one website I created. Kyle said in his training to create a "personal user"

But you said that you hadn't bought a website yet, so how did you create a website?

Sorry for the confusion...I did create a free siterubix website, but I did not purchase a domain like .com for my website. The training I'm on is about creating a domain-specific email.
