Why is that every time I want to build a new Siterubix site, this thing shows up

There is currently a website already installed at

mydomainname.siterubix.com
<

Hey June some of the Lessons go over how to set up your SiteRubix page. It maybe some of the Lessons 5 or less. Wish you luck.

Maybe someone else somewhere already has that "name.siterubix.com"?

I don’t think so because if that’s the case it will say taken and not available.

I don't have clue but surely it's annoying. I hope somebody knows why it is like that.

This is highly unusual , I'll add a re-ask.

Has anyone experienced that the siterubix would resist the building of another site if the domain name is ok and new?

If the site is yours, and you haven't started building it yet, just click OK and move forward.

Thanks a lot Therese =) I’m going to follow what Labman has said.

Thanks Craig, will do that.

Thank you for your help!

Great! Glad that help came....☺

I don't know if you would lose anything by clicking ok. Go onto godaddy and type the name in and it will tell you if it's available.

Hey Cheryl. The one I’m trying to build is a siterubix site and not own domain. This thing doesn’t bother me much though because someday, somehow I will move it to my own domain. I’m just wondering why. It works perfectly fine if I add a name in the domain name.

I haven't a clue but it would annoy me. Good luck and hope you get it sorted out.

Thanks. I guess I’m just going to click ok and move forward then as suggested by Craig.

Hope it worked out ok Juneyo.

I've been thinking of moving my website out of WA for quite sometime now due to a certain circumstance. I'm considering to buy hosting from either Namecheap or Hostgator. The pr

it looks like people here don't have to much experience in other hostings. Neither do I. As far as i know both of these mentioned - Namechep and Hostgator are good places... Did you checked out the pricing ?

Yup, I've checked the price. With the help from Marion, I decided to choose Hostgator. I've transferred my site to Hostgator hosting and updated the DNS today. Now, I just have to wait 2-3 days before I can access my website again.

Wish you all the best and hope it works for you too!

Thank you.

I'm currently using Fatcow hosting and asked the same question about hosting criteria. But I was told by few members here that WA hosting is the great one and reliable. So, decided to switch to here.

You may want to consider staying on WA hosting after reading this relevant article by Kyle in comparison of the hosting providers.

I've no intention of leaving WA as there're still many to learn. I acknowledge the quality hosting WA has. As much I want to keep hosting my site here, the exchange rate (cost of premium membership) is getting ridiculously higher. So, I have no other choice than to run it out of WA. It's not like I can access my premium website when I become a free member again, can I?

As I know, you are only entitled 2 free website for Starter Membership and these 2 free websites are under subdomain, i.e. YourDomainName.SiteRubix.com. You can't host any own domain website free here anymore if you quit the Premium Membership.

Yes, you're correct and I'm aware of that =)
