Hey Meina,
All WordPress websites on WA servers do NOT need a security plugin.
The server provides us with top-notch security already, making Wordfence Security unnecessary.
Only on OTHER companies servers that you most likely would need such a plugin, as the majority of other website hosting providers do not provide top-notch security unless you pay a premium rate for hosting your site with them.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hi, Trish.
Understood. I just feel a bit uneasy. I always use 2FA on my sites. How can I turn on that feature for the one I hosted in WA?
Hey Meina,
The security is server delivered, which means it is NOT necessary for us to turn anything on to do with security as it is a 'given' the minute you create a website on the WA servers.
In time, you soon see that other website hosting providers will NEED to include this due to so many website managers/owners who do NOT protect their sites and cause issues with an entire server.
WA owners are smart. By protecting the server itself from hackers we all gain an advantage... less hassle for support services and less outages.
For more info on options your site that are hosted here have, check out the screen prints below.
Hope this helps you.

Why is that every time I want to build a new Siterubix site, this thing shows up
There is currently a website already installed at
mydomainname.siterubix.com

Hey June some of the Lessons go over how to set up your SiteRubix page. It maybe some of the Lessons 5 or less. Wish you luck.
This is highly unusual , I'll add a re-ask.
Has anyone experienced that the siterubix would resist the building of another site if the domain name is ok and new?
If the site is yours, and you haven't started building it yet, just click OK and move forward.
I don't know if you would lose anything by clicking ok. Go onto godaddy and type the name in and it will tell you if it's available.
Hey Cheryl. The one I’m trying to build is a siterubix site and not own domain. This thing doesn’t bother me much though because someday, somehow I will move it to my own domain. I’m just wondering why. It works perfectly fine if I add a name in the domain name.

I've been thinking of moving my website out of WA for quite sometime now due to a certain circumstance. I'm considering to buy hosting from either Namecheap or Hostgator. The pr
it looks like people here don't have to much experience in other hostings. Neither do I. As far as i know both of these mentioned - Namechep and Hostgator are good places... Did you checked out the pricing ?
Yup, I've checked the price. With the help from Marion, I decided to choose Hostgator. I've transferred my site to Hostgator hosting and updated the DNS today. Now, I just have to wait 2-3 days before I can access my website again.
I'm currently using Fatcow hosting and asked the same question about hosting criteria. But I was told by few members here that WA hosting is the great one and reliable. So, decided to switch to here.
You may want to consider staying on WA hosting after reading this relevant article by Kyle in comparison of the hosting providers. Some Much Need Perspective on WA Hosting (and Comparisons)
I've no intention of leaving WA as there're still many to learn. I acknowledge the quality hosting WA has. As much I want to keep hosting my site here, the exchange rate (cost of premium membership) is getting ridiculously higher. So, I have no other choice than to run it out of WA. It's not like I can access my premium website when I become a free member again, can I?
As I know, you are only entitled 2 free website for Starter Membership and these 2 free websites are under subdomain, i.e. YourDomainName.SiteRubix.com. You can't host any own domain website free here anymore if you quit the Premium Membership.
