Hi, my original profile is still posted below but I thought I should update it as I've been here for over a year now. I'm not (yet) making money from my sites but that has more to do with the type of sites I've built than a reflection of WA's training. I love it here and plan to host many more sites here and continue the learning path and stay a member forever lol. My advice to anyone starting out would be not to see it as a quick solution and not to look for quick money but rather as a long continual journey of learning.
If you're new here, welcome to WA!

Original Profile:
Hello! I am so inspired to start my learning curve here! My goal is to grow my knowledge and skill online so that I can have the freedom that comes from an internet based business. I am originally from England but I live in Spain. I hope I can make fast progress here and I really look forward to meeting you inspiring people! :)

Hi VSinatra,
Nice to meet you too!
Yes, I'm here forever! Because when you first learn to type, or speak, or understand another language for example, you can't just Unlearn it - it becomes part of your life. Well that's what this like for me. Building websites is part of my life now and the most exciting thing is that I can go on and learn more and more and more and more. And that's what I love!!
Wishing you all the best of success! :)

Ooooh I'm sorry Robert - Don't know how I managed that mistake, very stupid of me. Thanks for correcting me (if I had emoticons on here I'd add an embarrassed face :-( ) Thank you for wishing me a good evening - I'm going to enjoy my evening by writing, writing, writing, and a maybe bit of reading...all on WA. I live and breathe WA at the moment!
See you!

No probs. I believe our American cousins among others put their family name first.
There is another English lady that follows me that moved to Spain as well.
Maybe you will come in contact with her within WA.
You have been here a couple of months now so you really should have been writing every spare minute you had so you would have some articles to fall back on when you where stuck.
No matter and anyway you know what they will say - all work and no play will make Soraya a dull girl lol.
I'm about to sign of for the night so maybe catch you tomorrow.

Hello Soraya,♫Welcome! Nice to meet you ツ I wish you a lot of learning pleasure and fun on WA. Thank you for following me.

From the start, I have written training for every issue I had problems with myself. I also made a list of 1001 niche ideas, a checklist with 25 points to go through before you publish a post, 101 blogging ideas when you get stuck and an A-Z WA dictionary. I just love lists:) It has been very helpful to a lot of people. I have listed them in one blog you can find on my profile. It's the first website link on the right (click on my picture to get there). I hope to help you with those.

If you have any questions, please add a comment to this message or leave them on my profile.
Success building your business in 2016-2017. See you around, Greetings Loes

Hi Soraya,
I was scrolling thru my activity dashboard. I saw the words "2 months" in and it caught my attention.
I recently re-joined on Nov. 29, 2016. I was a member over a year ago, but didn't do anything. Life got in the way, sort of.
But this time I've got a different outlook on this. I'm less than a month in, so I get anxious at times. And I get overwhelmed. But your words helped me refocus.
I live in Houston, Texas. And you're across an ocean.
I just wanted to say hello and thank you.

Hello Ramiro!
Thank you for your lovely message; it makes me very happy to know that I could help you refocus. I know exactly what you mean about feeling overwhelmed; there's soooo much going on. I really hope you enjoy your second month here as much as I have - and many more months after that too of course!
If I can ever be of any help let me know and I look forward to reading your blogs etc.

Soraya, I see you are making some good progress through the Affiliate Bootcamp. Just wanted to pop by and see if you need a hand with anything?

I also wanted to mention the success rates of Bootcamp. Absolutely everyone that has taken action on all of the phases of Bootcamp has a business that is generating consistent income online. MANY of these folks are going to be at our super affiliate conference next year.

I want this to be you and I want you to succeed with your promotions. So, please promise me that if you ever need a hand or feel stuck as you move forward, that you will get in touch with me!

Trust me, I know things can be a little overwhelming sometimes and I don't want you feeling like that.

Anyways, just checking in. Get back at me if you need anything Soraya.

I only joined last week too Soraya so welcome. Just signed up for premium yesterday. Such a friendly group of people here :)

All the best with your projects here. What niche are you looking at? I am in both the health and wellness and self development niches but haven't really made any money as yet.

Joining this community is the missing link I think ;)

All the very best,

Kev

Hi Kev,
Thanks for your message of welcome; yes it is really a friendly place here and the friendliness goes to show that it is possible to be supportive to one another, not like places where people criticise everyone's comments if they have a different opinion. I have actually developed a bit of a shyness for posting because of those reactions but here at WA I will soon change that and learn to be open lol!.

I am interested in your niches too...health in a natural-approach kind of way and self development is the fundamental of my life - an ever growing and learning path. I am starting with the niche of positive thinking and am in the process of my first website.

I look forward to reading your pages!

All the best,
Soraya

I am just putting the finishing touches to the course I created and then hopefully next week I am going to go full on in the training here. Exciting times :)

Yes I am into the natural approach with health and self development is something I have been working on for as long as I can remember haha!

Look forward to seeing your website progress.

Stay in touch,

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

Thank you so much Kyle, that is exactly where I am, wondering which niche should be my first one... I am passionate about natural horse keeping and exceptional relationships with horses but I feel that I should keep that one for when I am more knowledgeable about all of this so that I can do it justice. So I thought I could do gluten free vegetarian as a few years ago I had to give up gluten and it has been quite a journey. But then I wonder whether I would have enough to say on the topic and whether there would be any interest in that! And added to that I live in Spain so many of obstacles that i have had will not apply to readers living outside of Spain where there is more understanding of the topic... So I thought how about, cooking for a gluten free vegetarian, but the same applies; how many people will search for that niche? And I guess that would need regular photos of beautifully presented food...so I think I've given that the thumbs down.
I am also a strong believer in positive energy and creating your own reality and that is something I could really create content for, but how would I encapsulate the idea to make a smaller niche? And what would qualify ME enough for people to actually read my site? And how would it generate affiliate links?
Another possibility would be some form of guide to visiting El Torcal area in Andalusia but again I'm left feeling like: 'Who will read that?' I also play the piano & write and teach English and I am pretty passionate about all my interests so at I do have lots of options but I feel completely lost when I try to decide... This is as far as I've got (not necessarily in order of preference).
#1 gluten free vegetarian cooking
#2 positive energy / creating your life (too general...?)
#3 a painting/art topic
#4 teaching English to Spanish kids (too general?)
#5 your relationship with your horse (for later)
#6 Visit Antequera region of Andalusia

I confess I feel totally lost so really do thank you for your message and sorry for such a long winded answer. I intend to make a living from this, not just a part time hobby. Do any of the above topics look like they could lend themselves to creating an income in the future?
Million thanks.
Soraya

Your niche ideas are definitely viable directions for your niche. You need to choose one when starting out, what are you most passionate about?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)
