Dear all, I want to place a code in the header script of my website, to install a pop up box. Can someone please tell me how to do that? my theme is babylog.

Looks like Labman has your answer , sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck and God Bless. Truly Lisa

You really don't want a pop-up in your header. There are pop-up plugins if you must add them. I recommend something else. Pop-ups are universally reviled.

You would have to dive into the template files of your theme. It's actually best to create a child theme. If you edit a theme's template files you will lose the changes you made if an update of that theme comes out.

A child theme is not that difficult to make. All you need to do is
1. Create a folder and give it the same name as you want to give your child theme (for example babylog_child)
2. create a stylesheet with WP Theme headers and put it in the child theme folder you just created
3. copy the files you want to edit from the parent theme folder (babylog) into your child theme folder (and only those you want to edit)
4. edit the theme files you copied. (in your case it would be the harder.php file)
5. upload your child theme folder in to the WP themes folder.

A detailed description on how to do this can be found here:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

I take my photos and put them at the bottom of my page far away from my content. Then I take that photo or head tile, put a link hooked to it, then I hit the text to see the html code. I then copy the code and go to my wegit area and past the header code where I want it. I hope this helps. God Bless. Truly Lisa

I wish I could help but...........I have not gotten that far. Still working on a niche or domain name. Good luck. I am sure someone will come to you aide.

I want to create a menu on my site for easier navigation. I followed the instructions by Apina but I still cannot have more than one menu showing on my site because my theme on

It seems you miss things. Menu and categories are different things. You can easily make as many categories as you want.

You can add posts to page in the main menu, as items in sub-menu, this can easily be done. You can add them also in category pages.

If you want a theme with 2 menus try Virtue.

Here is a training, and there are other when you use the search bar here in WA :-) hope it helps

This video should help you. If you like please rate and comment :)

Thanks a lot this was very helpful

You are welcome. Let me know if you need help.

Hi you can add posts to your pages menu, in your menu for pages just add a custom link and put your post url in.

Yes, you are aright, some themes have only one menu, even though you can create another menu. You only can run one of it.

The only solution I can give you is to change to another theme which will offer you more than one menu.

I know how frustrating that can be though.

Hope you cn find the best solution.
