Hey WA Family
I found a keyword with 2989 searches, 509 traffic and a QSR of 111
is this a good keyword?
is the QSR too high?
The Diamond Traffic Program Learn more about Kyle Training on Low hanging fruit, its good training
The lower of course the better and don't get too caught up trying to find high traffic keywords. It is the low hanging fruit (that is the most relevant) on scale that will lead to the most consistent and long term traffic.
Under 200 is fine, the closer to 0 obviously the lower the competition.
Hi...
What I have started doing is type your "keyword" in google search bar then scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see how many searches there actually are...
I have done this for my past 3 posts and each "keyword" I typed in (note the quotation marks) has shown results only for page one...so technically I should be found on page 1 straight away!
Give it a go and see what happens! This is what Kyle teaches in Course 2...
All the best
Steve
Go through the course 1 training again. It will answer your question. Finding Content Ideas from Keywords
It is still fairly low, although I think Kyle mentions less than a 100 as being good. A lot depends on what other content you have on your site which could also improve your authority factor and give you an edge over other competitors, but it is all worth trying.
Thank you, I went through the training and I looked around for what others have said and the answers are inconsistent
The inconsistencies you see come from people interpreting recommendations in the training differently --
One member sees "Look for a QSR under 100" and says "Since the QSR is over 100, a 111 QSR is bad. Don't use that keyword".
Another member who's seen the same thing says "Since a 111 QSR is pretty close to the 100 recommendation, it's going to be tougher to rank than a lower QSR keyword. Since it's close, though, you should be OK to use that keyword."
Each interpretation has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Hey Sifiso, ifI cannot find keywords lesser than QSR 111, then I will go for this keyword, I prefer to target QSR less than 100, even better if it is less than 50. Traffic if it is 50 or 100 more, I will go for it. :)

Hey WA Family
Just a quick one, what happens when you do not cloak or mask your affiliate links with pretty links?
Thanks in advance
Pretty links doesn't mask or cloak it just tidies up the link and makes it look nicer. Traditionally cloaking of links was when a person was redirected without their knowledge to a completely different site and this practice is heavily penalised by Google.
Tidying up links also makes it harder for people to remove your affiliate code and replace it with their own. Even with pretty links I don't think you can post directly from many social media platforms but it is possible with some, whereas ordinary affiliate links tend to be banned quicker.
Have a read of this... Affiliate Links - to Cloak or Not to Cloak What the gurus of days gone by have always said it is less likely a potential buyer will click on an 'awkward' looking link. But you have to be careful because some platforms will not accept a cloaked link...always check!
There are nefarious dudes and dudettes that will misuse the affiliate links if directly posted as is to redirect traffic to get the sale...
Cloaking is a way to prevent this...But as you say, careful is the word on how to best use cloaking...
As some have mentioned, prettying up your link can add in an aesthetic element,as well...
Another consideration is that if you are going to use a tool to cloak, make sure that it does not eliminate the responsive action for the page....
Some tools will cloak the link but the page no longer shows well on a mobile device...
That certainly is important since over half the time spent on the internet is through these devices!
Cheers!
Dave : )
Dave...You've got it perfectly summed up!
P.S. Have never heard of 'dudettes' before....what a great word!

Hi WA family, most of the time when I read up on social media marketing the focus is on twitter and facebook. Do any of you use reddit as a source of traffic? If you do then wh
Great question from a great guy. I can only speculate. They were the original Social Media...ancient of days compared to FaceBook. They did not know what they had.
Few understand them. They harness the power of RSS which is powerful and misunderstood.
Such a shame. They need a makeover.
I like the way you think, dude!! Send me a PM sometimes.
Peace, Sifiso
Reddit is a great way to gain more traffic. Make sure you become involved with the community before you try and post any affiliate links or marketing. I would get 50 good posts / comments under your belt before you start marketing otherwise you will get booted out very quickly
The reddit community is generally quite a tech savvy bunch and are well aware of Internet Marketing so if you do participate you will be better off not coming across as a marketer
