How Much Will I Make?
Hello WA Family!
This seems like the question lingering on most people's lips every time they consider joining Wealthy Affiliate. Whenever I try to promote WA to people I always run into the question:
"Wow! it really does sound good, but how much will I make if I join and promote WA?"
Personal finances can be a touchy subject for many. Asking someone how much they have in the bank can feel a little intrusive and rude. However I think it is a valid question to ask as a prospective member.
At first I used to disregard these inquisitive souls as just running after the money and looking for a quick buck. But the more I listened and tried to explain the more I realize that most of them aren't trying to make some fast money.
See people looking to make money online are usually scared of losing money or investing a lot of time with little to no returns. These folks are also probably desperate and want to make their first $100 to pay some bills etc. Lastly they might also want to make that first sale quickly so they can use the momentum to sustain their morale.
So I decided to not just brush them off, but try to answer this question to the best of my abilities.
I tend to search for WA success blogs where people post about their earnings and other success. Then I share them with the inquisitive bunch to make them see that, firstly it is not a scam and secondly, you can make money.

I agree. Be honest about how and when they will begin earning. We are not a get rich quick organization.

That's difficult because everyone will be different. Some truly have a skill for this. Others are really struggling. How much you can make obviously differs for everyone.

You could tell them that affiiliate marketing is a business not a job.There is no guarantee you will make a dime but there is also the potential to become wealthy. I have looked up the earnings of some well known bloggers and affiliate marketers and their earnings, even per day, will make your head spin. On the other hand many bloggers have never made any money. That's where wealthy affiliate comes in. The people who have never made money have likely never been taught how to do affiliate marketing correctly. The training and support at WA are unparalled making the possibility of success so much greater!
It depends on utilizing the classroom knowledge, the affiliation pursued, your target market niche and n=many more elements. Experiment as you journey.
