Hi there,

is it normal amazon asks you to pay a fee?
I just received a bill, for the first month...

Is this normal or is it fake?

I have never had a bill.

You might have signed up for an Amazon Seller account instead of an Amazon Associate account.

You can verify it with Amazon, but chances are that's a fake email.

Hey Sam,

Sounds like you have received an emailed spoof.
Amazon has put out the following warning: http://amzn.to/1D3OMRW

thanks for the link, great info there. must have missed that one...

When in doubt, check with Google buy using the subject line ... or a few relevant lines in the body text of an email.

Good evening Sam,

This has not happened to me either.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

good to know and thanks for the answer.

Best of luck with your online business Taetske

No Sam, this is definitely not normal. Very likely a scam.
Jerome

thanks Jerome

Sam, Richy has it right. Affiliates do not pay fees.
Barbara

maybe I made a mistake while subscribing... have to check that out again. thanks for your answer ;)

Affiliates should never pay to sell someones product if they ask refuse to do business with 'em, Amazon you must have a fake bill, ignore it and contact Amazon, if you signed up as an affiliate.

ok thanks, great info btw

I was reading on one of my own pages and something drew my attention. The more I scrolled down, my page looked very white (because the background is white). So I was wondering

Hey Sam,

Absolutely!
I believe, what you're trying to achieve here is a floating side-bar.

Quick fix = Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin
(super easy to use & works 100% for me)

This plugin creates a fixed widget for your sidebar - As you keep scrolling down, this sidebar widget keeps following you..

You can put opt-in forms there, text, images, buttons, animations, pretty much anything..
..& of course your WA banners.

I hope this helps (:

Cheers,
Henry

Super, I'll try this. Thanks a lot

It appears normal now Sam. If it continues you should contact site Support!

Thanks for checking it out ;)

hi sam i am sure there will be a plugin that is able to do this - the do it with the sharing buttons - or you could dig into the code for this and then change it to add the banner instead of the sharing buttons.
it's got to be called tracking something
but what relevance does it have on your site?
good luck with your hunt

Thanks Feigner

I looked at your website and couldn't see what you are describing.
Maybe you have fixed it. Loved the website.
ANN

Thanks Ann, Great to hear that!

This would be a very annoying thing.

That may be, thanks for your opinion ;)

Today it all went wrong in the media section. The message below came up by every image.

"Latest error: Error while connecting: couldn't connect to host (#7)"

Anyo

Using internet explorer and all my images are available now.
To bad chrome has this problem.

It went for a while today also.

I saw people had trouble logging into WA. I must have missed all this.

Yesterday, we had a major malfunction, and WA was out of the air for several hours, I would ask website support if this has something to do with it

Thanks a lot Loes

I found a training which could be useful too

You're the best!!!

Thank you for your quesiton.

Hey Sam,

WA has suffered some outages today and this may have caused your error message. Have you tried searching your exact error message in Google to see exactly what it means? This might ease your mind ... and, sometimes when searching Google for exact error messages, you might find a resolve shared by someone.

Great advice, I'll do that!

Perhaps try clearing up your browser's cookies, cache, etc? I haven't run across that error yet, hopefully someone will provide more insight, if not, a better answer.

Cheers!
