In Day 7 of 12 Days of Abundant Thinking, we examine the importance of willingness to change as we journey down our pathway toward abundance.

Change is hard for most people. We like the comfort of status quo no matter how much the dust and cobwebs accumulate on our routines. Our greatest fear is the fear of change. We fear changing jobs, neighborhoods, schools, churches, relationships or anything unknown. We fear investing in training and mentoring programs.

Fear of the unknown keeps us from changing.Imagine what would happen to a butterfly and the many flowers it pollinates if it was fearful of metamorphosis from a dull crawling weed eater to a colorful soaring flyer.

Be willing to drop your fear of change for the sheer exuberance of feeling alive and living out your life purpose. Catch a vision of yourself having enough abundance to live and work wherever you want whenever you want and I promise the willingness to change will become much easier.

Imagine yourself soaring to new heights and doing the things you’ve always wanted to do. Many self-made millionaires who have overcome the fear of change find that the joy of fulfilling their life purpose gave them the power to use their wealth to help others in ways they never dreamed possible.

Here are 10 things you can change that will produce a change in your personal energy and environment. Making small incremental changes will lead you to a position of greater abundance. By change I mean clean up, fix up, de-clutter, organize, update, perfect, or spiff up without spending a lot of money.

    1)Your car

    2)Your wardrobe

    3)Your home

    4)Your work environment

5)Lighting, sound, air quality and visuals

    6)Your business model

    7)Food and beverages

    8)Your energy levels

    9)Tools, computer and communication equipment

    10)Your personal integrity and character

Be Willing To Change Your Beliefs

If you have a tendency to waste time on non-producing things, you may have a fear of success. Stop and think about what fears or beliefs you may have that are limiting your success.

Do you fear change?Do you fear having too much money will make you greedy? Are you afraid of the change that money and success could bring?

DAY 7 ABUNDANT THINKING AFFIRMATIONS

(Say them out loud.)

I am willing to change whatever needs to be changed in order to follow my life purpose.

I am willing to embrace change in order to possess abundance.

I am willing to give beyond what I expect to receive knowing that abundance will follow me.

My mind and my spirit are creative enough to give me many options to reach my desired outcomes.

I am willing to change what I am experiencing in my life now for who and what I can become.

I am willing to surrender to truth as it occurs to me so that I can live an abundant lifestyle.

I am so happy and grateful for the ability and power I have within me now to create an abundance of wealth.

I am a good steward of my time, my talent and my finances.

Good stewardship is producing abundance in my life.

Money flows to me under grace and in perfect ways because God is my ever flowing abundant supply.

Thank you Rebecca.... I am putting Discipline on the top of my list... discipline to change what and how much I eat everyday and discipline to achieve the mini goals I need to make my website a success! I know I can do it if I have dicipline to do it!

1

Oh my...what a wonderful attribute to put into play in toward your future of an abundant lifestyle! I am so happy for you! Let's do this together...shall we?

I'm game! We all do better if we have someone to be accountable to... which was why I put it in writing here. Thanks Rebecca, I will let you know how I'm doing...

1

Great post Rebecca, change is a constant yet so hard to accept!

1

Thank you Sandra...yes, it is hard but so necessary in order for abundance to flow. I have found it necessary to let go of business models that were not producing consistent income. I have had to revamp my skills and adopt new ways of thinking in order to grow.

Thanks for contributing your wisdom to this series.

You are very welcome! I've worked in Change Management for many years and have had to practice what I preach quite a few times myself!

1

I have enjoyed reading each one of these posts Rebecca. I will try to continue decluttering! Blessings!
Hilda

Ah yes...de-cluttering is the process I am going through now having downsized my home two times. I am in the process of laying aside every weight that is holding me back and keeping me from living a more effortless, graceful life.

I truly believe that Father God wants us to live in His unforced rhythm of grace and blessing. Some of the things I thought I had to have I no longer need and want.

Thanks for sharing this journey with me. Blessings of Abundance to you! ~Rebecca

Great advice Rebecca! :)

1

Thanks Christa. I'm so happy to add value to your life. Stay tuned for more.

1

Great Rebecca, always cleaning the dust bunnies around here...Lol!

1

Oh me too! I've had to blow out major cobwebs in my thinking in my process of re-invention. Thanks for your comment.

1

Along with those things that will change you, I would add personal appearance. I always looked like I thought I was "supposed to look." HAH! Got my hair chopped off and spiked, used more makeup (I was trained by Elizabeth Arden) and then changed my wardrobe for what I liked, not what my mother's voice in my head was telling me. You are so right, Rebecca, it made a BIG difference in my outlook. And, yeah, we are all afraid of change. I am doing my best, at this moment in my life, to embrace it.

2

WOW! I love it! Do you have pics of the new you? A new personal appearance can make a definite change in your persona and attitude. I am proud of you for taking big bold steps. You are on your way...one step at a time.

1

Pics are tough. I was always accused of ruining all the pics by being fat and ugly and I'm afraid it stuck. I'm the most camera shy person you'll ever meet. I'm going to attempt some professional pics, as soon as I work up the courage. That will be a HUGE step. I have two pics that I can stand looking at and one is on my WA profile. The other is on my FB page. I have to be careful because if I can't stand the pic, I won't deal with the page it's on. I promise you, Rebecca, that I will try my best.

1

Carla....a few years ago, my life went into a downward spiral. I gained a lot of weight after my divorce and my self-image suffered as a result. You are not fat and ugly...YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Father God sees you as the beautiful daughter of his creation that you are. People who love you see you as beautiful.

GET THIS and make it your mantra...WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!

I think you will love Day 9 of this series! Stay tuned. You are doing great!

1

Oh, I'm staying tuned, believe it!

1

LoL, My great grandma's saying:" a little make up and paint will make you feel like what you ain't!"

2

I like that!

We might as well embrace change Rebecca, because change is going to be thrust upon us at the most unexpected time whether we like change or not.

Con
