Hi Nida yes you can do this, if the competition is low you should be OK. But in this case I like to check out some statistics from competing sites to find out the word count of the top articles. If you write a longer post than your competition it gives you a better chance of getting to page 1 of Google.
Hi. Nida. You have touched on something I have been finding. The keyword research is so fascinating, just by tweaking a little adds a backdoor into a subject. Good luck... Mike

When we are researching key words should we be paying attention more to traffic or to QSR datas?
Right. It’s just tricky when the key words QSR is below 100 but there’s no traffic also. So I’m wondering if the words are being searched at all that often to drive traffic..that’s where my confusion came from.
But you all are great to enlighten me. Thank you.
Nida
I think that the decision for which ones to use is based on all three; (AVG) Average searches + Traffic + QSR.
I was under the impression that you choose the one with a AVG and QSR under 100, that in my mind is the low fruit that will get your post ranked higher.
Thank you. I was thinking of that too also because if the keywords are not being searched at all and the QSR is below 100 what are the chances of ranking but the rest of the comments down below make sense.
Thank you!
Nida
In the early days, go for the lowest QSR as it will be easier to rank and build up authority.
Afterwards, you can go for keywords with a higher QSR (but still not too far over the 100) if they have a high search volume. Clearly, if you can rank for one of them, the traffic rewards are higher.
Hi Nida,
Here's my thoughts on Keywords:
You find keywords with BOTH of this combination:
AVG > 100
QSR < 50
For me, those are the ideal criteria to look for in any keywords.
So to get that kind of keyword, yes, it's usually a phrase.
You will find as many keywords as you can.
Each post you write will be tackling only ONE of these keywords on your list.
sample "how to train a dog to sit"
Then you will incorporate that phrase in your title, first paragraph, and then once again near the end of your post.
Title: "3 Easy Steps: How To Train A Dog To Sit" - Always add to the title to make it enticing and reason why people should click on YOUR post on their results page.
First paragraph (within first 160 characters):
"When first getting a new puppy, you will want to learn how to train a dog to sit when he or she is 2 - 4 months old.
I have 3 easy steps below that I'm going to go through with you so you can teach your new puppy...."
Body: anything you want.
Last section of post somewhere:
"If you have learned how to train your dog to sit, then please comment below and let me know of your results!" - or something else, anything that will bring that keyword back into your article.
When researching keywords you need to beware of Stop Words like "what is" "how to" and words like "in" "a" "on".
Those words don't really count and if you see another keyword with same AVG but higher QSR and without those stop words, then that keyword is the true QSR.
For example "what is commission junction" and "commission junction" are the similar AVG but the true keyword is "commission junction" which will have a much higher QSR than "what is commission junction".
Sometimes you may also need to be more creative in your keywords if the product name you're promoting does not have any good keywords, you could work around that and think of why a person would need this product.
So instead of using product name keywords, you could also look at keywords like "how to cure...." or "natural remedy for..." whatever your product can do/improve for people, and so that's more keywords you could use.
You have to put yourself into the mindset of the person doing that search and figure out what a person that needs the information you're offering would search for.
Hope this helps!
Grace
In my opinion the QSR is more important Nida ...
Having bigger chances for a smaller amount of traffic is better than having smaller chances for a biggest traffic volume ...
Both. You're looking for the most amount of traffic with the least amount of competition (QSR). Kyle advises under 100 or 50, I would stay under 50 at first.
Don't compromise on QSR, as it's useless to find a keyword with high traffic if you can't rank for it.

I chose a niche and then just had people commented on my profile and gave me a new idea for a niche so now I would like to change the title of my website to something else. How
Hi Nida,
That's straight forward.
Go to your wordpress site > Setting > General >you can change the site name as well as the site tag.
(WARNING: Do not touch the url of the site)
Joe:)
Wonderful! ... super thread of answers -- Zed's got it all answered for you .... and Ginger, too!
Happy New Year! .... cheerio ... 😊🎈
Hi Nida,
If you are talking about the domain name, that can't be changed once has been registered. If is a siterubix domain delete the site and create a new one.
If is an owned domain, you'll need to buy a new domain name.
If you are talking about the title of your site, that can be changed any time.
Just the title is super easy. Just use WA to login on WordPress. It's under Settings -> General to change the title and tagline.
