As with most tools and software, you'll get those who love it and those who don't.
I DON'T... Hahahahaha!!
Here's my reasons why.
It's basically a "cheaper" version of semrush and ahrefs, but with nowehere near the amount of tools and information.
No "tool" or "software" can really do much for a website, they are mainly there to provide advice, based on assumptions.
Not ALL tools get this right, and often the "advice" given is pretty terrible (an example, is an SEO plugin giving you a perfect 100/100, I will guarantee that the article is bloody horrible and unlikely to rank simply because it's focused on search engines and not on people).
As with many platforms, tools, software, the owners are out-and-out marketers. Once more, as great as a platform, tool, or service is, if it's owned and run by an "out-and-out marketer" there will be a lot of BS, disingenious advice, and advice aimed at making you "purchase something" or "upgrade".
Guess what?
Diib is full of this kinda stuff, mainly trying to sell their users content and backlinks.
I've previously read the story of a service provider who was "advised" certain things by Diib.
The tool said Last Year (2022) that his site had been hit by the Helpful Content Update, therefore he needed to PURCHASE better content.
Plus, the tool explained that his DA was very low so he needed to PURCHASE backlinks.
Turns out the website owner is a landscape gardener, once investigate by a "legitimate" SEO, he HAD NOT been hit by the Google Update, and as his work was seasonal, this dip in traffic happened every year.
Realistically, this guy's business was going well, he was getting many customers from his website, and had done for years, so much of this "advice" was simply aimed at getting more money out of him.
Diib will typically provide details of what's going on with your website, then provide recommendations, and WOW, what do you know, they can then SELL you things to match their recommendations.
This is JUST MY Personal Opinion.
As I say, some people love it, some hate it.
Sure, it's very handy to have a tool that provides a lot of website and competitor data, hence why things like semrush, ahrefs, ubersuggest, SimilarWeb, SerpStat, etc. are so popular.
However, most of these tools have free trial periods or large discounts for the first month, so there's no harm in giving them a go and coming to your own conclusions.

But you know how it is. A fellow, like me keeps looking for ropes. I am on a trial with these guys for a cheap £8, which will jump to £45 next month, so I probably won't renew it. I planned to harness what I could and throw it away. That is why I posted this question to see if I get some borrowed wisdom.

Hi - I think the pricing is quite misleading.
Only the first month is $7.99, and after that, it is $44.99 per month, and I don't think it's worth that.
Much of the information can be found for free or certainly cheaper elsewhere.
And some of it is just their opinion, such as "Your Daily Health Score" which doesn't really mean anything, they use their own algorithm to calculate this, which may not tie in with what Google is looking for.
As you can tell, I'm not impressed!
Thank you for the input. Everything helps. I probably won't keep it; however, if the recommendations "objectives" I follow show me the expected results, I will reconsider it. I can't do all the objectives they offer, and then comes the upsell of super expensive tools, which I have no intention of paying for.

Yes my WA profile picture is me. It could do with an update as it's a few years old but it's me. I choose to use a photo of myself because I always do that on all platforms online so I wanted to do the same thing here on WA.
It wouldn't feel right to me if I didn't use a real photo of myself as my profile picture. I also do it to build trust and authenticity so people know I'm a really person with nothing to hide.
When I see people that don't use a photo of themselves as their profile picture I don't trust them as easy and I'm always a bit wary of them until I'm satisfied they are who they say they are. But that's just me and who I am so I don't mean anything bad by saying this.
One final note that I have learned from others and also from my own experience is that it's always better to use a photo of yourself as your profile picture on online platforms as people will trust you a lot easier and it will be a lot easier to build trust, authority and a following.

Yup, that's me, though I had cataract surgery so don't wear those glasses anymore. I think that a photo of the person is much friendlier and more honest than logos or icons or something. I also attend a ton of conferences, and I'm always honored when someone recognizes me thanks to my profile photo. It's a fantastic networking tool!

Once I decided to update to a Premium member on the WA platform, I decided to show my REAL face in order to gain authenticity.
Otherwise, why would other members want to even think of trusting my blog posts or training tutorials shared here... leastwise that was my thinking.
If a member chooses to remain unknown on this platform, I'm not so apt to follow them, as I feel they most likely will not be remaining a member for very long.
When I realized how quickly My Network Following list had become super inflated with member's accounts that had been vacated, I spent far too many hours cleaning that up by deleting my following accounts that have and had been deserted.

I have found members among the most popular ones without a profile picture. Many have profile photos, but I just can't see some of them being true, especially now that you can generate anything with AI.
So, having a real-looking picture in a profile doesn't mean they do have their real one in there. Yet they have trust and popularity.
Ahhh... thinking that someone might use AI to create a phony but really looking image... yeah, now I get where your question is coming from.
The reason I responded as I did was "my" reasoning for sharing a real image of me.
So, please don't feel that I would EVER expect others to think the way I do. Heck, now THAT would be boring.

You may find you have several options. If not, simply tweaking your search phrase may help you find more.
