Using Copyrighted Images With Watermark Can Kill Your Business
Images with a Watermark are copyrighted!
And I still see a lot of you using them on your blogs here and on your websites!
When you PAY for the image, they will remove the watermark.
BoomergP08 - Robert - Has written quite some blogs and training about this, and I advice you to look them up, because it can become nasty if you are keep using copyrighted images.
Here are a few of Roberts contributions.

I try to avoid them, Loes. It also doesn't look good on your picture. Thanks for the reminder. :)
As a photographer I'm always banging my drum about copyright so thanks for writing this post. It's always seemed weird to me that people can use photographs without paying for them (if those are the terms of use) but then be aware that they cannot copy other websites etc. It's as if people think that taking photos is so fun that we don't want to be paid.
(I actually had a potential client email for some photographs the other day, a shoe designer. He didn't want to pay but I would get a 'credit' - anyone want to guess my answer?)
I guess you answered him, he had to pay for the right to use it :) Because the photographer has to pay his rent too, just as people have to pay for the shoes he is selling, he wouldn't like it either, people hang a card to his shoes with his name and store on it, where others can go for free shoes;)
Ding Ding you win the prize :-) He didn't just want photos though he wanted an entire photoshoot done with models wearing his shoes - all for free.
thanks for sharing.

Behind license type there is an i and when you click that you will find the terms and conditions, there ARE conditions on this website, it shows what conditions when you click on the picture
Thanks for the tips and resources Loes.
Tere's actually something that I can't put my finger on, and I posted a question about it: photo exclusivity.
Say, for example, that you paid for an image and used it, then I come by and want to get the same image. Will the image be still available? if yes, wouldn't that hurt, SEO-wise?
When you want real exclusive photos for your website, you have to make them yourself. I am a bit suspicious when it comes to exclusivity offers for a few $$.
Images are not hurting your SEO, especially when you rename them, the name you give them will be exclusive if you are a bit creative.
