Curious on this...when in Google search seems many have the same issue.
Did you refresh your Facebook window after getting your results from running the debugger? You need to clear what Facebook keeps as a cache on your URL.
Also found a comment that said to the effect that
Facebook scrapped the pages when seeing a 404 redirect error. And then since then, had not taken a look since. Go to the 'delinter' at developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
then add your page. After that it will scrap it, but then your link should share successfully.
I'm clueless on coding, but found comments on that. But sure seems to match a cache issue.
Yes, Loes, I'm sure. Usually it's possible to simply paste the URL into the "Post Something" section and it will pull in a preview. But now it shows a 404 error.
I have even tried reposting one of the previous successful ones and I get the same error.
You can also try to hit
ctrl+shift+delete
choose for
cached images and files
Clear browser data
then try again
I tried using Facebooks Graph Object debugger (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/) but even if I click "Fetch New Scrape Information", I get the same error.

I haven't run into this. I'm sure it's something new they are doing to keep people on Facebook and not let them leave their environment.

I would suggest you try to update the contents. Try to find some new things to add, even a little bit.
Hi Stephen. Not all pages get indexed. It's the same for my website - https://timotheuslee.com. it won't hurt ranking. For my website I'm ranked #1 with keywords - Digital Marketing Consultant Singapore.

As long as the old content is still reliable content, that should not hurt your rank.
However, if you have content that IS long outdated, you bet it can hurt your ranking.

My content is certainly valid but I've not gone back to those "old" pages and updated them in any way. Imagine if I had thousands of pages and posts - surely I wouldn't have to go through each one and update them in some way, just so that Google doesn't stop indexing them?
Outdated = no longer applies.
I would imagine that any search engine would expect our information updated whenever it is necessary. If they started ranking outdated info high in search results then their users would find another search engine.
Hmm.., I don't know. Another good question is could you resubmit it so that the time, however long that might be, starts over again?

Do a site search as outlined in this post. The Google Site Search Operator In most cases Google is showing a reporting error but you can view their list of indexed pages to the ones that show up in the site search and verify what is displayed.
Thanks, Craig. The plot thickens! When I do a site search, I get roughly half the number of results as compared with the Google Search Console.
