Thank you, you are quite the busy man. I love music, I sang in a band in high school many years ago but was raised with all varieties of music. My dad loved soul train and American bandstand. If that didn't cover everything I don't know what would have "back in the day"

Hi Jacquie! Glad to meet a fellow music lover. Both those shows were cool shows, "back in the day." :)

Lighting was Koontz best book, and I've read the Stand a half dozen times. FOE? I'm a Fallout/Skyrim girl myself. And the Walking Dead people have no common sense, so I get excited when I see a new season on Netflicks. "The stupid people are back!" I cry out with glee.

Hi Rick,
Hi. My name is Donna. I used to write songs also because I used to sing all over. I think my book has about 50 or more songs that I wrote from 14 years on up . A few are to music and the majority are just lyrics. I am recently new to WA. Keep in touch. Donna

Thanks for the follow. My parents were in the music biz. My dad had a dance band, played in the Cleveland Orchestra and they owned three businesses - music store, music publishers and reed making. My husband plays guitar (has six or seven) and used to write music when he was miserable) It will be my pleasure to follow you back.

Hi Rick...Very nice to meet you! I am always glad to meet a fellow lover of the arts, (I too play the piano and harp, classical music being my favorite..and also I must not forget to mention my own novels of romance and chivalry. Yes, tis true, I am definately one of "those" women, who love Camelot..lol).., and superbly crafted tales of horror and macabre, oh yes, King and Koontz are my favorites also! However, I cannot say I am a fan of a sport in which a bunch of grown men chase each other around for the golden prize, a mere ball of pig skin! LOL! :) Ah, but to each, his own, and that, is what makes the world go round!

Thank you for following me, and I look forward to staying in touch!
The best of luck to you .....

Hi Lesley! Seems we have some commonalities and some differences. Makes the world go 'round, as you say. Romance and chivalry never go out of style, and probably not football, either. My best regards-Rick :)

Hello, and thank you!

Being new to the community is both a challenge and a blessing. I think the challenge will be to me (and about me and what will work for me) while the blessing is when you get to know new friends and people who can guide you and advise you about what to do next.

I'll surely be bothering you with questions soon enough, for now, I just want to say cheers!

Hi Rick, thanks for the follow. I follow you back. I grew up with classical music with very talented parents. I do not play anything except a little violin. My brother graduated from Eastman and Denton Texas (do not know the name of that school) If you are on Face book, I will look you up there too. I have made a friend who is named Maximus Prime, and he sent me his music. It was acoustical music, and I enjoyed it very much. I consider him one of very few people I have on face book. Maybe you can hook up (Is that the term) him. Nice guy. I hope you market your songs on the internet. I will check out Reverbnation. Best wishes Judy Oh being an artist, you might like to check out my website, because my dad built the 47 foot cowboy and everything in the picture by himself. Of course that is not all. Do you like sculpture? I also have innovative way to teach very young children to count. My dad did that too. He was a piano teacher. my website is NOT finished. It soon will be. I am writing more posts. findmejeans.com Again best to you. My son is a computer engineer at Southwest Airlines. I am 73 years old and talk too much. By Bu

Hi Judy! Thanks for responding. I do like sculpture, but I am not good at it. I think Maximus Prime was a robot in the Transformer movie. All the best-Rick :)

I now remember who Maximus Prime was in the movie, but the "friend" he put that name. I forgot now what his real name is. There are a lot of people here on WA that are artistic or else like music. Will me some good people here, right? Thanks for returning my message. I will try to find the woman here at WA who is a tour guide for various places in Canada where she lives. Very interesting person. Best wishes to you and again thanks for you answer. I followed you so I will be looking at your website sometimes. By by now. I am Judy. What is your wife's name. Does she help you write articles?
My second husband was a classical musician. Also play regular guitar too. Way back before you were born. Middle 1960. Love RB and Soul music too. I have a severe hearing loss so difficult to hear, but I did hear Maximus. Had it on loud. Go on Judy will you. Talk way too much. Judy

Welcome to WA, Rick! Thanks for the follow; I'll follow you right back. My oldest cousin who died so young had a band. He could really make his guitar speak like Frampton could. I really miss him a lot--he was always very kind to everyone.
Best wishes for all your online endeavors through WA.

Thank you for the follow. AND, I have been impatiently awaiting season 7 of Walking Dead. I know the comics and I am sadly ready for the first episode to find out who Neegan takes out with 'Lucille'. Wish you all the luck with your music, I am a singer myself.

Hi Rich-I'm waiting for Walking Dead also. I've seen some hints on-line, but I didn't look any further into it. Hope it's not the really main guys. Are you in a band?
Reply
RichE8475 Premium
No, I was never in a band or anything like that. My short lived career was theater, entertainment on a Disney Cruise ship, and covers here and there. I was watching some of those hints on Youtube, but I, also, and not searching too much into it. Ill probably be upset like I was when Andrea and Beth died.

Hi Rick,
Great to meet you here and thank you for the follow. Wow, that is quite an accomplishment...1,100 original songs and over 900 performances! I'll have to check them out on Reverbnation.

Hmmm, King or Koontz readers...well, count me in for a fan of both although I haven't had a whole lot of time to read too much lately I still try to squeeze it in when I can.
See you around WA and best wishes :) ~Sherry

Hi Rick. I have just been reading wonderful things about you via a blog by TheresRoth and just had to look you up to see what I have been missing. It seems like rather a lot! As an ardent King and Koontz fan, I reckon we are on a similar wave length. Walking Dead, for me, is a very close second to Game of Thrones. I would be delighted if you would follow me too. Take care

Hope things are going well for you in your music and affiliate web projects. I'm still working on my first million. I'll let you know when that happens. Better, yet, I'll drive down to FLA and we'll jam!
