Same here! The logics behind rankings will never be understood.
I don't like it, and I'm trying so hard not to focus on it.
Keep writing a lot!
Answer lots of questions each day. At least 3 to 4.
Continue helping at least 7 to 10 people and you will see a
Tremendous drop.

HI Linda, I had the same question about ranking. I didn't understand it much. But people are saying it's not that important!
I interact with the community by doing what you said and my rank does the same but I don't focus on it because it yo-yos so much. Never makes sense to me so I don't worry about it.

Hey Linda,
The ranking will move up an down depending on how involved you actually are within the WA community, but remember others are involved as well. Here is an example. My ranking had gotten all the way town to around 1070, next thing I know over the coarse of a week and a half to two weeks, it had climbed back up to over 3000, and was that actually 3048 late yesterday afternoon. This morning i found my ranking at 942.

I've also noticed significant jumps in my rankings as well. And I'm currently experiencing the same affect.
It seemed as before, it just took a few comments and likes a day to keep ranking number going down. I wonder if WA has adjusted the ranking algorithm to require more actions a day. I honestly have no idea.
If ranking is a goal, I would recommend scheduling a set amount of tasks a day (e.g. 5 comments, 5 likes, 5 welcomes, 1 blog post a week, etc.), do these consistently for a few days and then adjust as needed depending on how the ranking number moves, or doesn't move.

Thank you Kim, I have been doing at least the amount of tasks you suggested,excluding the blog post. Before when I was doing this it would go down. I'm doing the same amount as before and it continues to go up. I guess I will just see what happens in the next week or so.
Hi Linda, mine goes up and down like a yo-yo as well but I understand your point. Basically with more engagement, we do expect our ranking to go down but this is also relative to the community around us. I echo the sentiments of Steve and Rick below...I don't really focus on it that much. Some days, I am more active, so it dips a bit.

Why is my ranking only going up?
I have been reading others post and have been making comments. I have been welcoming new people and congratulated new premium members. I have been doing other things also, but
My Ranking number is like the A/C and Heat .... number goes down, which makes one cooler in a sense, but if I miss a day, it turns up the heat on me, making me sweat a little more :) I seem to sweat and chill, sweat and chill. Not fun as it throws me off track watching that number ...lol Not sure how important it is, but from what I read each time I get a notification, there are perks, and benefits to this supposedly. Maybe someonw who has a high rank will chime in and give us newbies a little more details.

How do you get to the new WA website to check out info on it and where do you find the Jaaxy banners?
Click on the Dollar sign at the top of your screen and choose Links & Tracking for your links and click on Banners at the top of that page to access the banners.
Your link is already embedded within the Code of the banners as well.
