What my Life was like when I joined WA and now - Success
It's now 6 months since I have joined and I am reaping the rewards. Sales are coming in and it is so awesome.Patience is a vertue, so be patient guys. All in good time, just like Kyle explained to me when I started out!
My site is on the 1st page of Google for a lot of high competition keywords. Jaaxy really helped me out there!

This really does feel good when people I don’t know are pushing me, and pushing me, and pushing me. This week, I have prioritized some important work, painting the exterior of my home and securing a some key information to develop traffic. Wow Rockford Fosgate Car Audio installer? I always loved that brand, I competed in SPL competitions around 14 years ago and won a few events. I had 8 15'' mtx subs in the back of a station wagon, and also 6 15" mtx subs on a wall behind the front seats of a sedan.

Hahaha, awesome to hear that someone else has the same interests. I did car Audio for about 11 years. I had many cars featured in magazines here in South Africa.
Yea, some of the products that I was a Qualified installer for was Rockford, MTX, Boston acoustics, JL Audio, Zapco, Soundstream and so on.
I have done a few sedans with 6 woofers in a wall behind the seats as well but my main specialty was custom sound quality systems. I have won many awards with customers cars at sound offs and that was awesome. I always tried to build the systems as fancy as I could, praying them, using suede, leather and so on! The same kinda of stuff that West Coast Customs did.

To be honest, I'm stuck. In a week, I got my " about me" page done with a photo.. I'm working with an iPad. My desktop died. When you've never done this before it's intimidating and I've literally spent hours. Ive watched if not all the videos, most of them. I tried following several YouTube "how to build a wordPress website from scratch" and I can't find one with the 4.0 version. I can't go much further in my training till I get my site done. I've notified my mentor. He's on the other side of the planet. Lol , you asked for it. I don't know exactly how to word questions to the team here. I know this will pass and it's probably easier than it seems. I try to follow the tutorial in the back but even that's hard to follow.
So my new friend and brother, any suggestions would be welcome.

However, there isn't much difference between the WP version that Kyle uses in the videos versus WP 4.0 But again, I work from my Laptop, not an iPad, so I don't know how different it might be laid out.

I'm stuck with the iPad till I get some cash flow. My desktop was ancient and just died. WP works on the iPad so there's no problem there. I think I'm ok with plugins, Themes come with 4 and I just activate them. It's filling in the spaces, getting images in the right spot, how to get the image from a free site to my page. A bunch of little startup things. I haven't found out yet how to put the link up to pay for a product and how I would get credit for it. Ex. Amazon product. That's a start.

For help with AMazon, I suggest you get in contact with Teacup, she seems clued up on that. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/teacup
For images, I suggest you download them to your iPad first, then upload them into WP Media. Once you start editing a page, you can click with your cursor on the area where you want the image and then click add media in the edit page toolbar. Depending on where you clicked, the image will appear there about. Then click on the image, (the edit button) and you can choose the alt text, the spacing (left, right, none) and add a link to an affiliate product etc.
So, then when someone clicks the image, they will be taken to that page of the product you are promoting.
