Amanda and I have anxiously been awaiting out first born to arrive. He was set to show up on June 3rd, but was a little too cozy in there and waited until the 13th to come out.

After a brief 38 hours of labor, all 9lb 5oz of Vincent showed up without any issues. He's happy, healthy, and loves to be held. His hobbies include eating, sleeping, and having the hiccups.

Amanda is doing great as well. No way would I have had the strength or courage to go through what she put her body through the past 9 months. She's a true rockstar and I love her more and more each day.

He also has more hair than I have ever seen on a baby. Every nurse and doctor we've met has said they can't believe how much hair a new born could have.

Big Changes

The birth of Vincent marks the biggest change in my life so far. I am forever grateful that I have a business that allows me to spend as much time with my new son as possible. I will actually get to raise my own child which seems to be too rare these days.

Internet marketing, Wealthy Affiliate, and my own pursuit of success have all helped me reach this point and there isn't anywhere else I'd rather be.

Congratulations on the arrival of your brand new baby boy, Vincent! My one and only was born 33 years ago! Seems like yesterday. When my son was born, my husband cut his work week back to 4 days for the first year of our son's life. He did not want to miss all of that time, either. I also stayed home with him for the first 3 years. I do believe that is one reason our son is such a wonderful human being. I also only worked when he was in school. I was always there for him after school, and was able to attend everything that involved him.

I think it is amazing that men, especially, now have other options so they can help raise their children. Our son is looking to do something from home or anywhere so he can spend time with his future wife and children.

It is wonderful that you had that 10 years to build such an amazing business to afford you this opportunity. Congratulations on that also.

You said your wife had a brief 38 hours of labor? Are you kidding me? 38 hours is NOT brief! Just saying??

Keep us posted on Vincent's milestones. You will be amazed at how many there are, especially in the first year. ENJOY!! Oh, and take thousands of photos. You will never regret it!!

What a charming little guy and I still can't believe that head of hair. Is it normal to have to go for a haircut in your first week of existence! lol

Congrats to you and Amanda, I know you guys are going to be amazing parents, because well, you are extraordinary people! :)

Thanks for the good news, Steve. Handsome boy. probably needed the extra time to grow that hair.

What a miracle and a blessing. All the best to you all and a quick recovery for your wife. Now the fun begins.

The best thing is you actually will get to watch your baby grow and you won't miss all the important stuff because you won't be at a J.O.B. that takes you away from your family.

WA Rocks!

That's the biggest takeaway Wayne. We actually get to raise our own child. It's nuts that we are the exception and not the norm.

Totally. I think that if more parents were able to raise their kids full time instead of leaving them in someone else's care, a lot of the issues that we see kids grow up with wouldn't be an issue and they would be better grounded and able to handle life's challenges.

So happy that you are able to do that for you child.

Thanks again for introducing me to WA, Steve.
Hope Amanda is able to get some value from my breastfeeding site, Happy Human Pacifier - the free download should be especially helpful.

Hello Vincent Cole tell you Mom and Dad I said congratulations. I hope things go well for you Vincent over the next weeks and months training them to your likes and dislikes.

I know with new parents it can be a little harder to train them.
The only advice I would give you is that as you get older remember that Grandparents are easier to train then parents.

He's cute enough right now Bo to get away with just about anything!

Already the wrapping you around the little finger has begun. I have much experience with that and for grandparents it is worse.

Congratulations and lots and lots of good wishes to the three of you!!!

As Loes says - enjoy every minute. I too remember holding my first born as if it was yesterday and feeling such love and responsibility as I had never felt before. (She is now 41 and has two children of her own, who again are growing up faster than we can believe.)

Congratulations on the arrival of little Vinnie.... a whopping 9lb 5oz! My boy was 9lb 6oz and I couldn't push him out.. he was too big! So big congratulations to Amanda, obviously more strength than me! And the hair..going to need a haircut ! So precious ! My boy is now 15, 6 foot tall, huge feet which is as well as he's my inspiration for one of my websites, he's a tennis player and I live in Spain with him at a tennis academy. WA gives me the opportunity to work in a country where I cant speak the language and would otherwise not be able to feed my dream of personal wealth!

This is amazing, Steve!!! So glad for you and Amanda! I beleive Vincent wins as having the most hair on a baby...ever!!!

I'll be forever grateful to you, Steve, do directing me, ever so gently, to Wealthy Affiliate, through one of your reviews. It's funny, but just a few minutes ago, I thought of 2 guys I know who are working crazy hours just to get a paycheck. Wealthy Affiliate is more than just making money....so much more!

Well, at least now, when you have those sleepless nights, you won't have to worry about dragging your way to the office.

All the best!

LOL! The hair is so cute!!! Congrats on getting through all that, I've certainly NOT tried that, courage issues extend to some of us gals too! Looks like the kid was aiming for father's day then and possibly has set a record for getting his bio up on WA :D

Thanks for sharing all the pics of your beautiful baby boy Steve. He is precious! Congratulations to you and Amanda. I know you really are going to enjoy being able to spend that time at home. It's rare for children to have one parent at home now, much less two, so he is a blessed little fellow.

I have 2 friends who gave birth to their first a few days before Vincent and he is already back at work. I can't even imagine having to live like that. I am very lucky and thankful every single day.
