Hi there. My name is Isabella and I live in England.

I was a member of WA a few years ago when there were no free memberships but I did not make good use of what was available and decided I could not justify the monthly expense.

When I received an invitation from Kyle and Carson to give WA another try, I decided to return. I have made a new commitment and have new goals.

As you may have guessed, I am no longer as young as I once was... but although I am retired, the day never seems to be long enough for me.

I enjoy taking my dog for walks, doing some teaching on a voluntary basis and growing my own vegetables. I am now using my experience to create sites for children's games and activities that will be fun and also good for their development.

I am enjoying creating content for my sites but am very slow learning the technical side of things. I have just started the Bootcamp which is helpful because it goes over the same sort of material again without making me feel I am totally going back to the beginning.

Thank you for reading and connecting with me here. I have already made lots of friends and really treasure this community.

Hello Isabella!

Stopping by to say hello. Hope you are doing fine with building your website. It sounds like a very good idea with a site for childrens games and activities. I suppose you have grandchildren and then you've got the best source of knowledge.

I have chosen a health niche. While waiting on further GoGetters-lessons I have enough work on improving my posts and writing new ones.

Wünsche Dir eine schöne Zeit und bis bald!

Hello Isabella, I agree with you. My daily routine is busier than when I was working a 9 to 5 job! Between trying to get this affiliate thing going and eBay and maintaining a household I seem to be going full steam and run out of time for the things I want to do every day.

Still, I do enjoy it.

Hi, Isabella. Nice to meet you. Love your screen name. Is that a chocolate lab in the pic with you? I used to have a black one. I trained her as a therapy dog, and we spent many happy hours at libraries and schools with my "Read to Raven" program. Lost her in 2014 to cancer. Welcome back to WA. Best wishes on your journey toward success. Thanks for following me. Followed you back. Carol

Hi Carol. Thank you for your comment and for following me back.
I saw a post or a comment of yours that mentioned your 'Read to Raven' program when I was using my smartphone. I was interested and quickly followed you so as not to 'lose' you. Otherwise I would have said hello on your profile page.

Yes, that is a chocolate labrador. She is now 10 and a half...

That's great. Glad we can keep in touch. My Raven was a black lab (as the name suggests). I rescued her when she was 6 and trained her for pet therapy certification. She was by far the best dog I've ever had. I still miss her. I have a black "pointador" that I rescued about a year ago. She's 1/2 black lab and 1/2 pointer. She has 4 speckled white socks and a white are on her chest. She's a very sweet dog, but doubt if I'll be able to do pet therapy with her because she is so shy. Carol

Nice to mee you Granny. I'm a g'ma also to two little boys living in Papua New Guinea with their missionary parents. The boys are 5 and 2.5. I'm hoping to succeed enough with my online business that I can buy things for them and set something aside for each of them too. Best wishes on your efforts at WA and thanks for the follow - Shirley

Welcome back Internet granny. Love that name. We are looking forward to your wisdom and experience which you are encouraged to share. I, too, had to get used to the technology, but there are so many supporters here, you will solve problems in a flash. Best wishes. Hope to hear from you again soon.

Thank you very much for your kind comment and good wishes and for following me.

I followed you when I read a post by someone thanking you for a tutorial which I took a quick look at and thought it looked really useful. I then looked at your profile butI did not write a comment at that point because I was looking at it all on my smartphone, so I just pressed the 'follow' button so as not to 'lose' you.

Yes, the more I interact with people here again, the more I realize that I am not the only one who is a bit of a technophobe.

May I give you my idea for an internet affiliate marketing business plan for your candid appraisal? If so, I would like to send it to you via a PM, if that's o.k. You evidently have far more affiliate marketing experience than I, and I'm very interested in getting it right.

Many thanks
Wayne

You are very welcome to send it to me via a PM. I do have a bit of experience and I'll certainly tell you candidly what I think. To what extent I'll be able to help, I don't know. But please don't expect an immediate reply. It's just gone midnight here and I am going to bed now. (I have a physiotherapy appointment at the hospital at 8 a.m. and need to be up early.)

Hello Isabella,
I have just seen your reply to a fellow UK resident. He lives in Plymouth, I am from Southampton. I am still developing my site and like you, the technical side of things can slow me down. Sometimes I have to watch the videos twice for them to sink in!
Best of luck second time around Now following.
Paul.

Thank you for following me. I am following you back. I live in Oxford. I saw that you went skiing in Austria. I am from Vienna originally, but have lived in England since I got married more than 45 years ago.

Yes I have enjoyed many years skiing but the odd injuries now take longer to heal so I am now following more leisurely pursuits. Do you travel back to Vienna very often?

I used to go back to Vienna often until about 5 years ago. My mother had cancer and I used to go back every couple of months to take her for checkups at the hospital and stay a few days to help with shopping etc. When she died we had to give up her flat and sort out her belongings, so again I went back and forth a lot. Since then I've hardly been back - had a hip replacement, heart problem and a few months ago a knee replacement... My daughter and her family will be going to Vienna during the October half-term holiday.

Never been there but it looks a wonderful place.I do hope your health is improving though if you rely on our underfunded NHS it may take some time!
Wishing you all the best.

Isabella, I welcome you back and thank you so much for adding me to your network! I am following you and look forward to seeing your children's activities posted. Just another comment, my great grandfather migrated to America when he was 20 from England. Married a girl with French ancestry in Louisiana! Blessings to you,

I am originally from Austria. Was born and brought up there and lived in Vienna until I got married to an Englishman. I have made a start on my children's sites but need to add photos and more content. I had them listed on my profile once but took them down again because they aren't anywhere near as good yet as I would like them to be.

Hey Isabella:)
I was just reading people's profiles for fun, and came across this! You said that you are from Vienna! This is where my family is from! Of course, I was born in America, and have never been to visit our relatives in Austria. I would love to, some day:) Where do you live now, if you don't mind me asking?
Blessings:)

Hi Suzi. I now live in Oxford, UK.
I normally read people's profiles and some comments before I follow them and find it fascinating what a diverse group of people we are from all over the world.
Best wishes,
