I too liked the free version of keywords everywhere, but since it’s no longer free I use the Moz Bar. Free version let’s you see domain authority.

Hey Genesis,

Have you tried Jaaxy yet?

Personally, I no longer focus on keywords nearly as much as I used to.

You may find the following tutorial helpful: Hope you find this helpful.

I have used Jaxxy, but I like to use the Google suggestions and search for the phrases that have at least a couple of low-ranking sites on the front page. Much easier than using regular keyword research if you want to rank.

Hi - try the MozBar Chrome extension.

You will need to create a Moz account, but the free version is absolutely fine.

Thanks, Diane, I'll test it out!

I was super excited to see that my blog post was ranked, but when I looked in the results, I found my author name in place of the post title. That looks super unprofessional! I

Hey Genesis,

In checking both of the URLs that appear in your profile here on the platform, I checked both sites for posts indexed and found no such post description as you say that you are seeing.

Can you please provide a screen print of that search result that you are seeing?

Here's how you can easily add an image to your question here:

I have the screenshot, but didn't want to post if it was considered promotion. Here it is.

When checking to see if both your sites are indexed... here's what I found...

I ended up changing the theme, since that seemed to be the issue.

Good that you figured it out.

Could it be a theme issue?

Or check your metadata, SEO settings, or possibly a cache situation?

I did check my SEO and metadata, all good there. None of the other posts seem to show up yet, so I can't tell if it's a theme issue, but I might try switching themes just to see.
Thanks for the input!

I've had some issues with WP throwing up an error lately when I go to upload an image. In the end, it still has the image, but today it isn't working at all and comes up with t

An update on this, tech support fixed it within minutes. The site drive had no more space, so they moved it. Once again, they saved the day! This is exactly why all my sites are hosted on WA. :D

Hi Genesis,

A SiteSupport ticket will help us see what might be causing the issue and then allow us to solve it for you. So, feel free to send in a SiteSupport ticket so that we can look into it.

Hey Genesis,

The server is the guilty party, not WordPress.

Providing that you are using the image size needed and NOT a larger than life size image...

Do let SiteSupport know of this issue, and if possible, supply a screen print of the prompt to them. Seeing is believing... leastwise, doing this has help lessen the back and forth chats before the act on an issue for me.

If you are using larger images than you need and editing them in WordPress then that would be your issue.

If not.. then in the meantime, you may find the following video tutorial helpful: Hope this helps you.

Thanks, they did fix it very quickly.

It could be the image itself.

I've had that in the past, I downloaded a newer same image, and I was able to.

If the issue persists, you may call support.

Thanks, I'll try that. I hate to bother support if it's something I can fix myself, but it doesn't look like it is, if the issue keeps popping up.

Try logout, empty the cache refresh, and try again.

I received an email from Google Search Console Team saying that my site was invalid for search results due to this error: Missing field "item" (in "itemListElement")
I have

This error message is related to the Structured Data markup on your website, specifically in relation to the "itemListElement" property. This property is commonly used to indicate a list of items, such as a list of blog posts or products on an e-commerce website.

The "itemListElement" property requires the "item" field to be present, which should contain the URL or identifier of the item being listed. If this field is missing or incorrectly formatted, it can result in the error you received from Google Search Console.

To fix this error, you should review the Structured Data markup on your website and ensure that the "itemListElement" property is correctly formatted and contains the required "item" field for each item in the list. You can use Google's Structured Data Testing Tool to check your markup and identify any errors.

Once you have fixed the error, you can use the Validate Fix feature in Google Search Console to notify Google that you have resolved the issue and request a re-crawl of your website to update the search results.

Thank you. I will see if I can figure out where this is, then.

Thank you. That was extremely helpful.

I'm considering setting up a blog to chart my progress as I work through the training on WA. It would cover my progress on the site I've created for the training and eventually

Sounds outstanding!

Best wishes,
Karin

Thanks!

I think it's a great idea, especially since the rules here prohibit sharing your sites. So you will have more freedom to do this on your website rather than your WA blog.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I'll be doing that, then. :)

You're welcome.
